An English Teacher's Autobiography of Using Digital Multimodal Composing in Teaching Writing to Vocational Students 高职英语教师在写作教学中运用数字多模态构图的体会

This study is an autobiography of the author's experience as an English teacher teaching 12th graders digital multimodal composing (DMC). I have been teaching vocational high school students for seventeen years in one of Indonesia's vocational high schools. I am still looking for the best way to develop the writing skills of vocational high school students. I want to alter their perceptions of writing. It is essential to create a fun and meaningful writing process both inside and outside the classroom. Students born in the twenty-first century, the digital generation, and modern students. DMC as the textual practice entails using digital tools to generate text by combining various semiotic modes. Each mode is meaningful and serves a purpose. As a teacher, I can create any digital mode based on my students' needs and knowledge. This study used the narrative inquiry method to explore and reflect on the story of the teacher.

Augmented Reality for Teaching Cell Materials in Biology for Undergraduate Students 增强现实技术在本科生生物学细胞材料教学中的应用

Technological advances in Biology are needed to visualize cell material that cannot be seen with the direct five senses. The aims of this study include: (1) Identifying problems in learning cell material for students. (2) Explaining learning media in cell material in Biology. (3) Describe the benefits of augmented reality in Biology learning for students. The research method uses a qualitative method with a grounded theory . Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results of the study include: (1) Problems in learning cell material including activeness in discussion is not good and the material needs to be visualized. Augmented reality includes three main menu, namely: materials, assistance, and quizzes. A ugmented reality-based smartphones include: increasing learning motivation, understanding material and science vocabulary, active discussion, and critical thinking skills. It is expected that Biology lecturers will use augmented reality to make it easier for students to understand the lesson.

Persaingan di era globalisasi yang semakin kompetitif menuntut peserta didik memiliki ketrampilan abad 21. Ketrampilan yang dimaksud diantaranya adalah ketrampilan dalam menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dasar (salah satunya matematika), dan ketrampilan dalam penggunaan TIK. Ketrampilan ini dapat diajarkan ke peserta didik melalui penggunaan Multimedia Matematika Bilingual Interaktif (MMBI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmenghasilkan sebuah MMBI yang valid dan praktis serta untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh meliputi pengembangan MMBI melalui tujuh tahap. Pertama, menentukan konsep MMBI. Kedua, melakukan analisis kurikulum dan analisis karakteristik peserta didik. Ketiga, menyusun desainmultimedia dalam bentuk storyboard sebagai acuan dalam pembuatan MMBI. Keempat, mengumpulkan materi dan bahan yang akan digunakan. Kelima, proses pembuatan MMBI menggunakan Microsoft Powerpoint yang dipadukan dengan iSpring Presenter dan iSpring QuizMaker. Keenam, evaluasi oleh 2 ahli multimedia, seorang ahli bahasa, dan 2 ahli materiyang dilanjutkan dengan Uji One to One dan Uji Small Group. Setelah dilakukan revisi dan dinyatakan valid, selanjutnya masuk tahap ketujuh yaitu Uji Lapangan. Uji lapangan dilakukan kepada 17 peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 2 Sekayu. Dari Uji Lapangan diketahui bahwa rata-rata skor peserta didik adalah 87,65 yang masuk pada kategori sangat baik.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika Pada Siswa Sd Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization 通过应用合作学习模式的团队辅助个性化,提高小学学生的数学成绩

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 14 Teminabuan Distrik Teminabuan Kabupaten Sorong Selatan Papua Barat melalui pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization Tahun Pelajaran 2020/ 2021 pada kompetensi menentukan ukuran sudut pada bangun datar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (action), pengamatan (observation), dan refleksi (reflection). Setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika tentang menentukan ukuran sudut pada bangun datar cenderung meningkat setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization daripada pembelajaran yang konvensional. Pengukuran peningkatan kualitas proses dilihat dari peningkatan aktifitas belajar siswa pada prasiklus sebesar 52,3% dengan kriteria kurang (D), meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 71%, dan pada siklus II menjadi 85,6% dengan kriteria sangat baik (A). Peningkatan kualitas hasil diukur dari peningakatan daya serap siswa terhadap kompetensi menentukan ukuran sudut pada bangun datar, melalui uji kompetensi. Sebelum dilakukan tindakan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 41%, dengan rata- rata hasil belajar 64,4. Ketuntasan klasikal pada tindakan siklus I meningkat menjadi 64,7%, dengan rata- rata hasil belajar 71,03, dan pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal meningkat signifikan sebesar 88%, dengan rata- rata hasil belajar 82,1.
