The source fault is very dangerous and its fast detection becomes an important solution for protection and switchgear problems. This paper discovers the use of single phase channel procedure based on Fast Acting Automatic Transfer Switch (FAATS). This device is characterized by its fast response and full time cycle operation. A practical working application shows good results for suggested method.

The article is devoted to calculation of three-dimensional magnetostatic fields of electrical engineering devices of fixed or with linear motion trajectory of various functional purposes by the finite element method using a regular finite element network. The aim of the research is to create an algorithm for forming coefficients of global SLAE of the finite element method on the basis of three-dimensional finite element "hyper-cube" when solving magnetostatic problems for obtaining engineering methods. The study subject is magnetostatic three-dimensional vector models of electromagnetic processes of electrical engineering devices, electrical engineering and electromechanical systems and methods of their calculation. The tasks are: to develop three-dimensional elements such as "cube" and "hyper-cube", to obtain recurrent relations for global system of linear algebraic equations (SLAE) coefficients. Research methods are: numerical calculations based on projection-grid method of the Galerkin in combination with the finite element method. The results are: a three-dimensional element of "cube" and "hyper-cub" type for a three-dimensional regular network of the finite element method has been offered, and recurrence relations for global SLAE coefficients are developed when working out engineering methods for calculating magnetostatic fields and their power characteristics in electrical engineering devices with minimal costs of the computer dynamic memory.

The paper examines the version of a equal-energy orthogonal phase-coded signals with additional differential phase modulation of codewords. Adding differential phase modulation of codewords to the phase-coded signal made it possible to reduce the probability of bit error while maintaining the possibility of incoherent detection. A single differential quadrature phase modulation of codewords provides the lowest probability of bit error among the signals under consideration, but in the absence of a frequency offset. At small frequency offsets, the single differential binary phase modulation of codewords has the smallest bit error probability. However, two-fold differential binary phase modulation with a slight loss relative to a single differential modulation in the AWGN channel has the lowest sensitivity to the frequency offset. Additional differential phase modulation it possible to reduces the number of orthogonal signals while preserving the probability of a bit error, or reduces the probability of a bit error while maintaining the occupied bandwidth.

The article presents the process of measurement of pressure and temperature of exhaust gas and rotation of diesel engine on the ship M/V NSU Keystone. Based on the actual measurement and comprehensive test results on the ship M/V NSU Keystone has identified consumption and heat emissions from exhaust gases of the main diesel engine. The data obtained is used to calculate the design parameters and operation of the heat recovery system of the diesel engine emissions at sea.

According to rules of interaction between the subject of the Electricity Market and JSC ATS, subjects of the Electricity Market are obliged to implement the daily hourly forecast in the mode "for a days ahead". To ensure of high-quality prediction of the electricity loads, subjects of electricity market need to prepare the regulatory base, to develop a technique of creation of the forecast of the electricity loads, and also to count the risks connected to the accuracy of the used models. On the one hand, the complexity of the problem being solved is characterized by the availability of data on the supply points, since not always the subject of the electricity market has the opportunity to collect data on the consumption of individual power facilities in the hourly mode. From the other hand, the introduction of commercial accounting systems can solve this problem with the investment of a large investment in the installation automatic system for commercial measurement of the electricity loads (ascme), but as a rule subject of electricity market goes for such long-term payback costs. The work can be useful both to specialists of power sales companies who are engaged in building forecast models, as well as to specialists of the electricity market entities, who carry out forecasts for the electricity market for the day-ahead. The main aim of the study is applying methodology forecasting using neural network for building predictive models for LLC "Omsk Energy Retail Company". The methods used in the study: Holt-Winters model, the ARIMA, neural networks, temperature and wind index. The results. It considered methods of construction of predictive models, the path of their evolution since the launch of Electricity market. Method of constructing the forecast of "Omsk Energy Retail Company" was developed using neural network, taking into account the temperature and wind index and allocation of common types of days by electricity load.

This work considers the problem of diagnostics and control of technical state (TS) of various industrial equipment. The relevance of the problem is caused by a significant increase in the level of requirements for the reliability of industrial facilities, the aging of existing equipment and technological complexes and thus the complexity of systematizing of various diagnostic information for decision-making. Because of this there is a need to develop a universal automated information system based on the method of diagnostics of the TS of a variety of industrial objects. Due to the multitude of factors affecting the TS of the equipment, the technical state index (TSI) is used as a complex indicator, the calculation method of which is based on the mathematical model of fuzzy sets. The diagnostics of TS is carried out based on a system of indicators, the configuration of which is related to the structure of the equipment. This work presents the results of developing a decision support system for managing complex technical and software objects. The work also shows a block diagram of the algorithm of how this system functions, describes the functionality and interface of the developed software.

Synchronic-in-phase electric drive is widely used in thermal-imaging and laser scanning systems due to high accuracy and dynamic characteristics in the wide range of angular speed regulation. The objective of the article is to analyse the dynamics improval of the electric drive with phase synchronization and synchronic-in-phase electric drive based on application of methods of angular speed errors’ indirect determination, which were implemented on the basis of multifunctional logical correlation device. The classification methods of indirect angular speed error’s determination (versions of frequency desynchronization of the comparable pulse sequences determination unit constructions) and the ways of the electric drive’s control organisation using the frequency desynchronization of the comparable pulse sequences determination unit were offered.
