A new technique for nonlinear transistor modeling is suggested. The technique includes an analytical extraction and a multistage optimization, providing fully automated modeling. An extraction algorithm for the parameters of an internal voltage-controlled current source Ids is shown. A fully automated workflow of small-signal model extraction is presented. An approach for obtaining parameters of nonlinear capacitances is described. A 0.15um GaAs pHEMT nonlinear model was built and verified with measured IV-curve, multi-bias S-parameters and power characteristics.

This article suggests an algorithm of formation a training set for artificial neural network in case of image segmentation. The distinctive feature of this algorithm is that it using only one image for segmentation. The segmentation performs using three-layer perceptron. The main method of the segmentation is a method of region growing. Neural network is using for get a decision to include pixel into an area or not. Impulse noise is using for generation of a training set. Pixels damaged by noise are not related to the same region. Suggested method has been tested with help of computer experiment in automatic and interactive modes.

The paper presents a system consisting of a traction rail network and two buried pipelines located under the influence of stray currents from electrified railway transport. Analytical expressions for the calculation of the distribution of electrical quantities in the two buried pipelines with their mutual influence were obtained. Expressions were obtained using Hartley integral transform. The program, allowing monitoring the changes of electrical quantities in traction rail network and two buried pipelines at the movement of locomotives on track section, was developed. Also the proposed program calculates and writes the potential of the buried pipeline relative to copper-sulfate reference electrode to the file, which allows estimating the need for corrosion protection from stray currents from electrified railway transport.

The concept of deterministic chaos at the initial development stage was considered as an unusual phenomenon that never arose in the solution of practical problems and was of interest only for a narrow circle of scientists. However, later chaotic dynamics was discovered in a large number of different systems. Further development revealed a number of practical problems, when there were chaotic regimes, sometimes harmful, and sometimes useful. Practically important classes of problems have appeared, when a non-linear system must be controlled, reduced, or, on the contrary, increased in degree of randomness.

This article is devoted to an urgent problem of reducing vibration at the operator’s workplace by improving vibroprotection system based on performance characteristics of road-building machines. Previous experimental studies have shown that dynamic impact at the operator’s workplace is generated by contacting machine parts and the surface under the treatment, as well as by contacting chassis elements and uneven microrelief. The paper presents investigation results which reveal the impact of these factors on the vibration at the operator’s workplace. A mathematical model of the subsystem "Microrelief" was developed which enables to determine the degree of the impact of these factors on the vibration at the operator’s workplace. The results are given in the form of diagrams showing relations between coefficients of rigidity of cab suspension system elements and those of operator’s seat, pavement type, microrelief roughness and machine movement speed in operation and in driving modes. Taking into account performance characteristics when designing road-building machines results in more effective vibroprotection systems to be developed which can adapt the operation conditions.

In this paper the general aspects of energy consumption and environmental effects of cryptocurrency mining technology are considered. For the data mining equipment, the main technical specifications defining its energy efficiency are analyzed. The aggregation of separate units within data mining pools or installation of respective farms were shown to have the most prominent energy saving effect. Eventually some design and operation issues related to power supply of data mining pools are outlined. The sufficient amount of standards prescribing the power supply design for this new type of energy consumers is still missing. Considering the facility located in Moscow power supply of a data mining pool is studied and respective power quality survey is conducted. Finally, the impact of data mining equipment on the power factor and grid voltage variations is demonstrated.

The article analyzes the experimental studies of a reciprocating hybrid power machine with a gas volume on suction using various cooling liquids. The experimental studies established that distilled water provides the greatest cooling of the cylinder-piston group, an increase in the flow rate of the coolant, and an increase in the productivity of the compressor section. If water can’t be used then A-40 antifreeze is recommended to be used.

The facility location problem of on network is considered. It is need to find the best location for an undesirable facility on a network such that the least weighted distance to all nodes of network is maximized. The problem is an adequate model of many practical applications from various fields. The problem can be used to determine the location of a facility that generates traffic congestion or other disturbance, such as a shopping center or a stadium. The mathematical model of nonlinear programming of the problem is proposed. The overview of decision’s methods and the properties of the problem are provided. The algorithm for finding of an approximate solution of the problem is proposed. Results of computational experiments are reported.

The article considers a switch that performs short-circuit of the phases of an electrical submersible motor in a single-phasing from the input terminals to specify its parameters by attenuation of the initial DC stator current. Electromagnetic processes are analyzed in the switch made on a single-phase bridge circuit on the key MDS transistors with reverse asymmetric pulse-width regulation, which provides an efficient and smooth control of the initial current from 0A to 20A with the smallest pulsations. A ratio is obtained for estimating the relative pulsations of the stator current. A cyclogram of the stator winding current is presented, containing two sections. The first shows the reversal of the magnetic circuit of the motor, the second characterizes the test mode, which is completed by the formation of a transient characteristic of the attenuation of the stator winding current.

This paper briefly describes a new approach to designing an automation system based on Web applications. At present, there is a tendency that different technologies become more accessible for non-professional users. The aim of the research is developing of a method and prototype of a software tool for designing various Internet applications, including simple websites of business cards, galleries and shops, as well as large portals, information systems and similar solutions. In this work the main requirements for the proposed software solution were determined, the process of its operation was described, and a prototype was developed. Then next step is modification of a proposed CASE-tool prototype and development of a mathematical model in order to evaluate the main indicators mathematically using the objective function and optimize them using multidimensional minimization methods.
