The study aimed at determining the emotional intelligence and its relationship to the leadership practices of private school principals in the university district from their point of view. The population of the study consisted of all principals in private schools in the university district totaling (138). A simple random sample of (105) principals was selected. The researcher used the descriptive correlational methodology, and used two tools composed of a questionnaire to measure the level of Emotional intelligence and the other is to measure the degree of Leadership practices. The results showed that the level of emotional intelligence and the degree of leadership practices were high; moreover, there was a positive relationship between the dimensions of emotional intelligence and leadership practices of the principals of private schools in the university district from their point of view. The study recommended developing a training program to improve emotional intelligence skills among the principals of public and private schools, as well as disseminate all successful experiences and use them for educational institutions.

The main objective of this study was to examine the impact of an educational program based on the Montessori curriculum on developing practical life skills among kindergarten children in Jordan. The sample consisted of 50 children from private sector kindergartens located in the South of the capital, Amman. To meet the study’s objectives, an educational and a teacher-training program were developed. The practical life skills measure consisted of three dimensions; classroom life skills, environmental, and personal skills. The main results showed statistically significant differences, with regards to skills attainment, between the kindergarten children in the experimental and control groups attributed to the educational program. As a result of the positive impact of this program several recommendations were posed including: Ministry of Education officials to implement life-skills programs in Jordan’s kindergartens, and carrying out specialized studies on the impact of such programs.

This study aimed to identifying the extent to which the quality of friendship contributes to addiction to social networking sites among Jordanian university students. The study sample consisted of (629) male and female students at the bachelor’s level. The study fillowed the predictive descriptive methodology. Data were collected online using two measurement tools to measure the quality of friendship and addiction to social. Networking sites. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the mean scores of males and females on the social media addiction scale, in favor of males, and on the quality of friendship, in favor of females. The results showed that two dimension of the friendship quality scale predict addiction to social networking sites among males. These two dimensions are trustworthy alliance and familiarity. While none of the dimensions of this scale were predicted for females, Anumber of recommendations were presented such as: the necessityof a role for the family in guiding children to choose the ideal type of friend, and the necessity of strengthening self-monitoring for future research.

The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of an educational strategy based on the aesthetic approach in improving the reading comprehension skills of second grade female students in Saudi Arabia. The experimental methodology with a semi-experimental design was used; the study members consisted of two groups: an experimental group that studied according to an educational strategy based on the aesthetic approach, and a control group that studied according to the usual method. The number of study subjects was (57) students. To achieve the objectives of the study; A reading comprehension test consisting of (20) multiple-choice questions was prepared. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups, in favor of the experimental group. In light of this, the study recommended generalizing teaching strategies based on the aesthetic approach in teaching Arabic.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of a strategy based on the generative education model in developing social problems solving in the subject of national and civic education among tenth grade students. The study followed the quasi-experimental methodology, and its members consisted of (148) male and female students from the basic tenth grade, with (76) students in Zaid bin Haritha school who were divided into two equally experimental and control groups, and (72) female students in Al-Qadisiyah school for girls were distributed into two groups, experimental and control group equally. To achieve the objectives of the study, a development test for social problems solving was prepared, which consisted of (25) multiple-choice items. The results showed that there was a statistically significant effect at the significance level (α = 0.05) on the experimental group that was studied using the generative education model for tenth graders of both sexes compared to the usual method. The study recommended the need to prepare an application guide for teachers of national and civic education for the tenth grade, in which it is clarified how to prepare and implement lessons using the generative learning model.

This study aimed to identify the level of communicative competence and peer acceptance, and the relationship between the communicative competence and peer acceptance, and whether there were differences in the relationship between the variables attributed to sex between the twelfth-grade students amounted to (25215) students for the academic year 2020/2021. The sample of the study consisted of (608) males and female's students. They were selected through the convenience sampling method. The correlational descriptive methodology was applied in this study. Two tools were also used commensurate with the study and its objectives. Tools were the communicative competence and peer acceptance scale. Results showed that the level of communicative competence was high with a mean of (3.83), and the level of peer acceptance was also high with a mean of (4.18), Results also showed that there was a statistically significance positive relationship at the significance level (0.05) between communicative competence and peer acceptance, where the value of correlation coefficient was (0.61). The results also showed that the communicative competence has explained (37%) of the variation in peer acceptance as predicted by peer acceptance, and there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) in the relationship between the communicative competence and peer acceptance in favor of males.
