Parenting Styles Practice Degree in the Family Environment among Yarmouk University Students 耶尔穆克大学学生家庭环境中父母教养方式的实践程度

The study investigated the practice degree of parenting styles in the family environment among Yarmouk University students. The sample of the study included (305) male and female students (133male, 172 female) from humanitarian sciences faculties (N=170) and scientific faculties (N=135). To achieve the objective of the study, a descriptive survey methodology was adopted as a (32) items questionnaire measuring parenting styles distributing on (4) domains was developed by the researchers and administrated to the sample. The results of the study showed that the practice level of parenting styles from Yarmouk University students was high on the total parenting styles questionnaire and the individual domains. The study indicated statistically significant differences (α =0.05) in the perceptions of Yarmouk University students related to parenting styles practice degree due to gender, in favor of females while no differences were found due to specialization and family income. In light of the results, the study recommended the need for parents to create a warm, encouraging and loving family environment. There is also a need for agreement between mothers and fathers about their roles in the parenting style adopted in the family and that each of them should work to complete the role of the other.

This study aimed to identify the role of school principals in employing smart devices in the educational learning process among high school students from the viewpoint of principals, teachers and counselors in the Galilee region. It also aimed to find solutions to the problem of the use of smart devices by students in the classroom. The descriptive survey methodology was used. A simple random sample was chosen that included (370) respondents. The questionnaire was used in the study. The results showed that there was a large role for school principals in employing smart devices in the educational learning process. The study also revealed problems and proposed solutions to activate the role of school principals in employing smart devices in the educational process for high school students in the Galilee region.

The Availability Degree of Administrative Creativity Requirements in the School of the Future within the Green Line in the Light of Internation Experiences from the Point of Wiew of School Principals and Teachers 从学校校长和教师的角度看绿线内未来学校行政创新要求的可得性

The study aimed to identify the availability degree of the requirements of administrative creativity in the school of the future within the Green Line in light of global experiences from the point of view of school principals and teachers, and to identify the impact of gender, scientific qualification, and job title. The descriptive survey methodology was used. The tool was a questionnaire, distributed to the sample of the study. All school principals and teachers north of the Green Line were selected, so that the total sample (419) principals and teachers, and the results showed that the requirements of the school in the future were met in the future, and that the results showed that the requirements of the school were available in the future. Schools within the Green Line in light of the global experiences of administrative creativity from their point of view on the tool as a whole were high, and the results showed the absence of statistically significant differences due to variables (gender, scientific qualification, job title and all fields.

Developing a List of Criteria for Assessing the Instruction Performance of Computer Science Teachers in Jordan Based on International Standards 基于国际标准制定约旦计算机科学教师教学绩效评估标准

This study aimed at developing a list of criteria for assessing the instruction performance of Computer science teachers and identifying the extent of their achievement of it, and whether their estimates has difference according to their gender and teaching experience. The descriptive developmental methodologyvwas used. The sample included (223) randomly selected teachers. To achieve the aims of the study, an instrument was developed included a list of criteria for assessing the instruction performance of Computer science teachers; and distributed on five Subdomains: Computational culture; Evaluation skills; Information security; Technology ethics; and technological literacy. The instrument included (49) indicators reflecting teaching performance. The validity and reliability of the instrument were assured. The results showed that the computer science teachers have highly achieved the proposed standards in their instructions, from their own point of view, and the results did not reveal a statistically significant difference between the averages of computer science teachers estimates of their achievement degree of the proposed standards according to the gender and teaching experience variables.

The Degree of Effectiveness of Distance Learning at Yarmouk University during COVID-19 Crisis from Students' Point of View 从学生的角度看亚穆克大学新冠肺炎危机期间远程学习的有效性

The study aimed to find out the degree of effectiveness of distance learning at Yarmouk University during Corona Virus crisis from students' point of view. The study sample consisted of (500) university students. To achieve the study objectives, a descriptive survey methodology was used to measure the degree of effectiveness of using distance learning. The results showed that the effectiveness degree of distance learning during COVID-19 crisis at Yarmouk University from students' point of view was moderate. The study found significant differences in students’ perceptions about the effectiveness degree of distance learning at Yarmouk University due to faculty type, in favor of humanities colleges, while there were no significant differences in students’ perceptions about the degree of effectiveness of distance learning in Jordanian universities due to gender and academic level variables.

The Reality of Empowerment Women Leaders in Druze Schools within the Green Line and Its Relationship to their Job Performance 绿线内德鲁兹学校女性领导者赋权的现实及其与工作绩效的关系

The study aimed to diagnose the reality of women leadership empowerment of subordinates in Druze schools within the Green Line and its relationship to their job performance, and to findout the factors that influence this. To achieve the aims of the study and to answer its questions, a correlational descriptive, survey methodology was used, using the questionnaire that was distributed to the study sample consisting of (290) individuals who were chosen in a simple random way represented by the study population. The results showed that the level of women leadership empowerment of subordinates came to a large degree too, and that the level of their job performance came to a large degree. In addition, the results showed a positive statistical significant correlation between the level of women leadership empowerment of subordinates, and their job performance in the Druze schools within the Green Line. Further to the results of the study, the study recommended that women leaders become encouraged to use the areas of administrative empowerment that is reflected positively in the level of job performance of subordinates.

The Degree of Empowering Educational Counselors by School Administration in the Northern Area at the Green Line, and its Relation with Their Job Performance 绿线北方地区学校行政授权教育辅导员的程度及其与工作绩效的关系

The current study aimed to identify the degree of school administration empowerment of the educational consultants as well as to indicate the extent of its reflection on their job performance in the northern region within the Green Line. It also demonstrates and promotes the correlation between the degree of the educational consultants’ empowerment and the level of the educational counselors' performance with the governmental school counselors in the northern region within the line. The study implements the relational-survey descriptive approach, using the questionnaire to achieve the study objectives. This sample includes all members of the study community, principals and consultants, with (170) respondents, comprising 115 counsellors, and (55) school principals. The results showed that the degree of school administration empowerment of educational consultants from the point of view of the principals and educational counselors were high. Besides, the results also showed that the level of the performance of the educational counselors from the members’ perspective of the study were high too. Statistically, there was a significant correlation (a<0.05) between the administrative empowerment and authorization to the educational counselors in their job performance.

Scientific and Civic Cultural Literacy Level of the Students of the American University of Madaba and its Relationship to Personal Variables 美国马达巴大学学生科学与公民文化素养水平及其与个人变量的关系

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of scientific and civic cultural literacy of the American University of Madaba (AUM) students and its relationship to personal variables. The sample of the study consisted of 437 students registered for the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020 at AUM and  sat for a scientific and civic test, the main research tool. The analysis of data collected showed that AUM students are culturally literate in the science field where the scores are at a high level. However, it was a little less in civics as it scored medium up to a high level. Further,  there were statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) in the scientific field in favor of the females, the international curriculum and health sciences faculty but not in the civics field. It is recommended that further research studies should be conducted on other fields of cultural literacy.

The Reality of Crisis Management for Principals of Public Primary Schools in Wadi Al-Seer District Wadi Al-Seer地区公立小学校长危机管理的现实

The study aimed at finding out the reality of crisis management among the principals of public basic schools in Wadi Al-Seer district from the teachers' point of view. The researcher used the descriptive survey methodology. The study sample reached (124) male and female teachers. The researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of (3) fields and (37) items. The results of the study showed that the reality of crisis management among the principals of public basic schools in Wadi Al-Seer district, from the teachers point of view, came at a moderate degree. And the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the management of school crises among the principals of public basic schools in Wadi Al-Seer district according to the variable (gender and educational qualification). The study recommended the necessity of conducting training courses and workshops to develop the capacity of school principals in the field of crisis management.

The Effect of A Training Program Based on Action Oriented Learning Approach in Developing Change Agency Skills of the Vocational Training Corporation Trainers in Jordan 基于行动导向学习方法的培训计划对约旦职业培训公司培训师变革代理技能发展的影响

This study aimed to investigate the effect of training program based on action oriented learning approach in developing the change agency skills of vocational training corporation trainers in Jordan. The Middle Region Training Directorate was selected intentionally. The study was implemented on a sample consisting of (40) trainers, the control and experimental groups were randomly assigned, each consists (20) trainers. The experimental group was trained by training program based on an action oriented learning approach and the controlled group was trained by the regular program before. The researchers prepared a training program based on action oriented learning approach and developed a change agency skills scale that was verified for its validity and stability. The scale consisted from(36) items, within three experiences: expertise collaborative (community membership and empowerment), expertise problem solving (risk taking and motivation), and expertise contextual (mastery). (ANCOVA) and (MANCOVA) were used to analysis the results. There were statistical significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α≤ 0.05) in expertise problem solving and expertise contextual, in favor of the experimental group. There weren’t statistical significant differences in expertise collaborative. The study recommended that the program should be used and applied in other courses and for long period of time.
