The essence and features of clustering in rural tourism are considered. An initial analysis of aspects of the creation and functioning of rural tourism clusters in Ukraine (current state, areas of activity, problems and prospects for their further development) was carried out using the methodology of research semi-structured interviews and qualitative content analysis. The characteristics of the researched rural tourism clusters according to the criteria of geographical location, smart specialization, scale of activity, history of creation, features of the tourist product and target audience are given. Trends in the number and composition of participants and features of the institutional design of clusters of rural tourism in Ukraine are analyzed. Groups of clusters of rural tourism have been identified according to the criterion of their own smart specialization. The main purpose of the creation and functioning of rural tourism clusters in the context of their participants and the region of activity has been revealed. The main areas of activity of clusters of rural tourism in Ukraine are determined: organizational, educational, advertising and marketing, communication, creation of a joint tourist product, development of the community and its tourist potential, and direction of cooperation. The possibilities and features of cooperation of rural tourism clusters with state authorities and local self-government bodies, with scientific and educational institutions, with public associations and with other subjects at the local, regional and national levels are revealed. The main problems faced by the clusters during their activities are identified - external, which characterize the general state of tourism development in the region, and internal, which relate directly to the activity of the cluster. The impact of seasonality on the organization of rural tourism cluster activities has been studied. The peculiarities of planning and prospects for the future development of rural tourism clusters and the level of study and use of other available domestic and foreign experience during the organization of their activities are analyzed. The main groups of benefits that cluster participants receive from joint activities are disclosed - social, marketing, access to knowledge and information, financial, access to resources, and benefits related to the tourist product. Factors determining the success of rural tourism clusters are summarized.

Objective: On the basis of general geographical analysis to reveal the tourist potential of the Main European watershed on the territory of Ukraine. Method. General scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization as well as cartographic methods by the means of GIS have been used. Results:The peculiarities of the geographical location of the Main European Watershed on a European scale have been analyzed. New facts from the history of its research have been presented. A hypsometric profile along the watershed line has been constructed, its morphometric parameters have been determined. With the help of detailed cartographic analysis, the Ukrainian section of the Main European Watershed line has been identified. Its location in relation to the physical and geographical zoning has been determined. A regional analysis of tourist facilities attractiveness on the watershed line has been conducted. Cross-border and domestic transport opportunities for access to the watershed line have been assessed. The coordinate reference of the most important orohydrographic elements - the points of watersheds intersection of large transboundary rivers basins: Danube, Vistula, Dniester, Dnieper, as well as their tourist significance have been specified. Possibilities of tourist use of nature reserve fund objects which are located on the watershed line have been revealed, in particular of such national natural parks, as Uzhanian National Nature Park, Boikivschyna National Nature Park, Yavorivskyi National Park, Northern Podillia, Shatsk National Natural Park. The importance of the watershed for sustainable (ecologically oriented) tourism development in international biosphere reserves: "The Eastern Carpathians" (Slovak-Ukrainian-Polish), "Roztochia" (Ukrainian-Polish), "Western Polissya" (Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian) has been demonstrated. Touristic assessment of historical and cultural sites located on the watershed line has been conducted. The importance of the city of Lviv as a separate tourist destination has been emphasized. Environmental problems related to the development of tourist resources have been outlined. Selected tourist clusters of the destination have been identified, the possibilities of their use have been revealed. The Main European Watershed specifics in general tourist resources classification have been emphasized. Scientific novelty: For the first time, the Main European Watershed has been considered as a separate integrated tourist destination, its detailed geographical analysis has been performed, and a cluster approach has been used to assess the tourist resources located on the watershed line. Practical significance. The results of the study will contribute to the integration process of Ukraine into the European tourist area, give impetus to new tourist routes planning, promote the development of tourist resources of national natural and regional landscape parks, support tourist clusters planning and developing.

Aim. Baku economic region consists in collecting and processing the collected material on the current socio-economic state of the territorial organization of the building materials industry and improvement, assessing the level of potential, identifying opportunities for future development, and preparing appropriate recommendations. Methods. During the study, comparative, statistical, mathematical analysis, the method of a systematic approach and personal observations of the authors were used. Results. As a result of the analysis of the territorial organization of the building materials industry and the problems of modern development, the following conclusions were made: For the first time, in modern conditions, on the basis of statistical data and observation materials, an analysis of the territorial organization of the building materials industry and an assessment of the level of development from an economic geographical point of view. It was revealed that the construction industry uses a lot of wood, fittings, glass, faience, sanitary ware and other products that are imported from foreign countries, and such an important industry should be exempt from customs taxes, and or on preferential terms, their importation should be taken under control and guardianship of the state. - A significant part of the stone and sand quarries located in the vicinity of the city of Baku was distributed or sold to the population. Due to population growth and the expansion of the city's neighborhood, it is necessary to pay special attention to the construction of high-rise residential and government buildings in the suburbs of the city. One of the main factors that create the problem of ecological tension in the city of Baku are stone quarries located in the suburban settlements of Garadagh, Guzdek, Turkan, Zire, Mashtaga, etc., which produce sawstone and sand used at the construction sites of the city. The implementation of recycling measures at these sites is beneficial not only for the sources of building materials, but also for the protection of the coastal resort and tourist area.
