Aim. The purpose of this study is to develop a methodology that takes into account the levels of anthropogenic transformation of various components of the environment. Method. In scientific work to take into account the impact of qualitative indicators on the process of transformation of landscapes of Volyn region under the influence of drainage reclamation was used P. Shishchenko's method with the following additions: the coefficient of anthropogenic transformation of landscapes was calculated separately for: relief and soils and water regime. Results. Understanding the state of lands transformed in the process of drainage reclamation provides an opportunity to understand the effects of a complex of factors on land and agricultural needs and encourages scientific study of various components of the environment. During drainage reclamation there is an intensive mineralization of the organic part of the soil with a significant increase in greenhouse gas emissions and the processes of peat mineralization are actively developing. The total coefficient of anthropogenic transformation of landscapes was defined as the average value between these coefficients. The results obtained by an improved method allow a more differentiated assessment of the state of transformation of the landscapes of the Volyn region, taking into account the impact of drainage reclamation. These results are adequate, as there is a connection with the industrial development of territories and the level of agricultural development. The scientific novelty lies in the constructive-geographical analysis of the impact of drainage reclamation in the Volyn region on different types of environment. Practical significance. The results of the research can be used in the educational process of VSU named after Lesya Ukrainka and other educational institutions in teaching geographical, economic and tourism disciplines. The results will find their application in the legislative and executive work of local governments in the development of programs of socio-economic development of territorial communities. The materials of the research will promote the rational use of anthropogenic resources and objects of social and household services in Volyn, which will allow to qualitatively influence the course of administrative reform. A number of provisions can be used in similar studies of the regions of Ukraine.

Goal. Analysis and generalization of scientific approaches to the formation of conceptual foundations of tourism regional studies development. Method. The essence of the research methodology is based on the integration of scientific approaches to the study of various aspects of tourism development with a focus on the regional level. Methods of analysis of scientific discourse, generalization of methodological bases of both concrete scientific and interdisciplinary researches, synthesis of conceptual bases of the theory and practice of tourism development were used. Results. The author's vision of the region as an object of tourism research and a subject of tourism development is substantiated. It is concluded that the research methodology of modern tourism is based on multi-vector theoretical aspects and requires a multidisciplinary approach to the study of its problems. The main structural changes in the development of the conceptual foundations of modern tourism regionalism are the shift of emphasis on the theory of tourism as a factor in stimulating economic development (economic aspect). The main theories of modern tourism science are analyzed, including theories of periphery, diffusion of innovations, two tourism sectors, experience, conflict in tourism, etc. Theoretical models used in modern tourism research are described, in particular, the tourist model and the tourism model, the model of the cycle of evolution of the tourist space. In the context of tourism regionalism, the concept of tourism development as a meeting of cultures is singled out. Spatial-functional aspects of formation of conceptual bases of modern tourist regional researches are analyzed. The role of the concept of sustainable development and modern concepts of recreation and hospitality (humanitarian, technological, functional and commercial) in tourism regionalism is outlined. Emphasis is placed on such principles of regional tourism research as differentiation at the structural level (uniqueness of tourism regions, destinations, diversity of tourism) and integration at the methodological level (interdisciplinarity, systematics, spatial development). Scientific novelty. Theoretical generalizations and substantiation of the subject field of interdisciplinary regional research in the field of tourism were further developed, which allowed to determine their key principles at the structural and methodological levels. An integrated approach to the formation of conceptual foundations of modern tourism regionalism has been formed, which allowed to substantiate the theoretical and methodological basis for further research. Practical significance. The results of the study can be the basis for further research, as well as used to improve the content of educational programs in "Tourism" in higher education institutions.

The aim of the study is to elucidate the number and structure of the museum network in a global and national dimension; define the concepts of «museum», «cultural and informational system» and the main directions of improving museum business in Ukraine; analyze the basic structural and logical models and dynamics of museum development in Ukraine; better understand the idea of unusual museum projects in Ukraine and highlight the most original among them by subject, history of creation and value of exhibitions. The methods and methodology of research. Expeditionary (a direct training with the expositions of non-traditional museum projects and field data collecting), monographic (an analysis of publications of leading museum scientists), comparative-geographical, cartographic, statistical (an analysis of number of museum institutions and their popularity in Ukraine), sociological (an identification of priorities of student youth in relation to non-traditional museum projects) computer technologies, modeling (a use of structural and logical models in the publication) methods were used in the disclosure of the topic. The novelty of the research. The dynamics and trends of museum development in Ukraine and in the world, the structure of the array of publications on museum issues are elucidated, the priorities of student youth in relation to extraordinary museums and the top-7 most famous non-traditional museum projects of Ukraine (in order of discussion) are identified. The results. It is proved that the share of non-traditional museums, museum projects and exhibitions in the «museum area» both in Ukraine and abroad is increasing, while at the same time in the Ukrainian national space it has been observed the actual disappearance of, until recently, unique expositions from such museum halls as the Museum of the History of Kyiv, the Museum of Taras Shevchenko on Chernychiy (Tarasova) mountain in Kaniv (Cherkasy region); by interviewing student youth, the most attractive and unpopular unconventional museums (world dimension) and the top 7 unusual museum projects of Ukraine (in order of discussion) were identified. The quantitative characteristics of the museum network and the popularity of museum institutions of Ukraine for the years 2000–2017 are given. The practical significance lies in the possibility of i implementation the results of the study into the educational process of higher education institutions in Ukraine (when teaching courses of excursion and museum studies, museum tourism, geography of tourism, basics of excursion) at the geographical, historical faculties of institutions of higher education in Ukraine) and the use of materials in the activities of museum and sightseeing institutions of Ukraine, in increasing public attention to traditional and non-traditional museum projects and expanding the idea of diversification of museum institutions.

Goal. To reveal peculiarities of formation of ecological prospects of tourism development within Drohobych urban system. Method. The study used analytical, comparative-geographical, cartographic and synthetic methods. Results. The prospect of this territory for ecological tourism in urban systems is shown - since it is characterized by the location within the satisfactory ecological state of forest landscapes, accessibility for all types of tourist groups, developed infrastructure and the presence of environmental problems, which often need immediate solution. Thus, territories such as the Drohobych Urbosystem create the prerequisites for obtaining aesthetic preferences, cognitive bases, as well as environmentally oriented knowledge in the implementation of tourist routes. In general, “branding” of cities in the development of the tourism industry is a multifactorial phenomenon, which depends on its natural, historical and architectural attractiveness as well as on its ecological status, which acts as an ecological basis and general ecological background. (a necessary background that creates a natural environment beyond which it is impossible to consider the ecological effect of anthropogenic impact aimed at providing comfortable environmental conditions (natural conditions that affect life, health, production and non-productive activities of people) for tourists. That is, the environmental safety of an urban environment is a condition of a certain section of a city that eliminates harmful effects or its threat, its inhabitants and visitors, created by anthropogenic or natural influences, correspond to the formation of a natural and cultural environment that is consistent with sanitary, aesthetic and material needs. [7] Scientific novelty is the development of theoretical, methodological and medical principles for the identification of tourist regions as an object of study, the identification of their specific features and patterns of functioning. Assessment of the environmental safety of the environment of tourist attractive urban areas should be a mandatory component of the city's brand, which is developed with the aim of obtaining the following results: improving the socio-economic and cultural development of the city; development of all forms of business in the city; tourism development; promotion of investment activity; participation in national and regional development programs; participation in international cooperation programs. The practical importance lies in substantiation of the mechanisms of formation and implementation of the strategy of development

The aim of the study is to analyze еhe role of medium and small cities in development of regions in the Republic of Azerbaijan Methods. The study used the method of comparative historical methods, statistics, analyze. Results. As a result, recommendations and suggestions were made to regulate the economic structure of small and medium-sized cities, and to increase the role of the regions in the development of the country. One of the main directions of socio-economic development are the reconstruction of the economic structure of small and medium-sized cities, the creation of new production and service facilities in these areas, and the organization of public services at the level of modern requirements. With these activities, new workplaces will be created and cities will play a role in the development of the country. Scientific novelty. Cities play an important role in the location of agricultural areas and population, in the processing of natural resources and agricultural products. These factors have a significant impact on regional development as well. Most of the cities in Azerbaijan are medium and small. Therefore it covers all regions of the country. Given this, it is possible to ensure the socio-economic development of the regions by developing small and medium-sized cities. However, the role of the regions in the socio-economic development of the country is still weak. It shows itself in the production of more industrial products. To solve the problem, it is necessary to construct new light and food industry facilities and service facilities in the regions. Natural and geographical conditions, the use of natural resources, and EGP are influenced by urban development in Azerbaijan. The majority of urban areas in the country are located in plains and foothills, close to water basins and the Caspian coast. For many years the processing of agricultural products has been the basis of urban economic structures. Different objects of the secondary industry are functioning in the cities due to the diversified structure of agriculture. However, during the transition period, their activities stopped, the production of industrial products declined and workplaces were closed. This factor has slowed the decrease of the urban population and increased migration. During the preparing of the article, the annual reports of the State Statistical Committee on regional development, industry, socio-cultural development played a statistical base role.

With these activities, new workplaces will be created and cities will play a role in the development of the country.\u0000\u0000Scientific novelty. Cities play an important role in the location of agricultural areas and population, in the processing of natural resources and agricultural products. These factors have a significant impact on regional development as well. Most of the cities in Azerbaijan are medium and small. Therefore it covers all regions of the country. Given this, it is possible to ensure the socio-economic development of the regions by developing small and medium-sized cities. However, the role of the regions in the socio-economic development of the country is still weak. It shows itself in the production of more industrial products. To solve the problem, it is necessary to construct new light and food industry facilities and service facilities in the regions. Natural and geographical conditions, the use of natural resources, and EGP are influenced by urban development in Azerbaijan. The majority of urban areas in the country are located in plains and foothills, close to water basins and the Caspian coast. For many years the processing of agricultural products has been the basis of urban economic structures. Different objects of the secondary industry are functioning in the cities due to the diversified structure of agriculture. However, during the transition period, their activities stopped, the production of industrial products declined and workplaces were closed. This factor has slowed the decrease of the urban population and increased migration. During the preparing of the article, the annual reports of the State Statistical Committee on regional development, industry, socio-cultural development played a statistical base role.","PeriodicalId":395632,"journal":{"name":"GEOGRAPHY AND TOURISM","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123613992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this work is to analyze the land resource potential of the Transcarpathian region and the main trends in the efficiency of its use. The study of land use optimization in the mountainous and foothills of the Carpathians is of particular importance. The specific climatic and morphological conditions of the region and the reorganization of land use exacerbate the problem of effective development of the agricultural sector and ecology of land reproduction. Method. General scientific methods, including analysis, scientific synthesis, analytical method, methods of comparison and generalization been used in the study. To study the current state of land and resource potential of the Transcarpathian region, information from the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the Transcarpathian region and statistical materials of the Main Department of Statistics in the Transcarpathian region have been used. To achieve this goal, comparative geographical and statistical research methods have been used. Scientific novelty. The article highlights the trends, approaches and features of land use potential of the Transcarpathian region. Its spatial differentiation has been investigated, the component structure of the land fund of the Zakarpattia region has been analyzed and the intensity of the target use of the land resources of the region has been determined. A general assessment of the use of land resources of the Transcarpathian region has been done as a major factor in the development of agricultural monosystems and identified areas of its rational use. It has been determined that a characteristic feature of the land resources of the region is the low level of area use suitable for agricultural production, there is also a significant withdrawal of land for commercial and residential construction. Practical meaning. The results of this study can be used in the educational process of educational institutions; in the development of state and regional programs for the development of the agricultural sector of the national economy; for the preparation of new regulatory, program and methodological documents.

The purpose To reveal the essence of the phenomenon of "overtourism" and its manifestations in the logistics of urban tourism. The methodology is based on the use of a basic logistic model of sustainable development of tourism and its varieties: principal, wide-spread and strategic. The conceptual bases of the logistic strategy of sustainable development of urban tourism in the conditions of " overtourism " are worked out, in particular the concept of tourist decentralization, the concept of reversible logistics, the concept of the impact of marketing on logistics and the concept of increasing requirements to the safety of tourists. Scientific novelty for the first time considered the application of logistics of urban tourism in the conditions of "overtourism" and worked out the conceptual foundations of the corresponding logistic strategy. Results 1. The basic logistic model of sustainable tourism development and its varieties and strategies of sustainable tourism has been developed. 2.The logistic strategy of sustainable tourism development under the conditions of "overtourism" and its conceptual bases in the form of the concept of tourist decentralization, the concept of reverse logistics, the concept of the impact of marketing on logistics, and the concept of increasing the requirements for security problems of tourism have been worked out. Practical significance. The above-mentioned theoretical positions were checked on the example of the problems of tourism development in Ukrainian cities like Kyiv and Lviv, and relevant recommendations were developed and proposed
