The public health development index is a collection of health indicators that can be easily and directly measured to describe health problems down to the district/city level. The last calculation of the public health development index in Indonesia was carried out in 2018 with the result that not all districts/cities are in a high condition. This research was conducted to classify districts/cities that have a high and low public health development index using the boosted C5.0 algorithm. The results showed that the accuracy of the model increased with the increase in the number of iterations and was constant at the 60th iteration. Error training was also smaller and constant at the 10th iteration. The final accuracy, sensitivity and specificity were obtained respectively 97.09, 96.72, and 97.62.

The objective of this study are to isolate lactic acid bacteria from sawi asin and its antimicrobial activity in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Screening of 66 bacterial isolates found 2 isolates of lactic acid bacteria that potentially produced bacteriocins. They were isolate PB3.6 and PG1.9, identified as Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus brevis, respectively. Isolates PB3.6 and PG1.9 could produced bacteriocins and able to inhibit the growth of S. aureus and E. coli. Bacteriocins of PB3.6 and PG1.9 isolates expected to be used as an alternative preservative agent in food products due to its capability of inhibiting the growth of food spoilage microbes, thus the usage of chemical additive material can be reduced

This study aims to utilize various natural dye extracts from traditional Indonesian plants to be applied as sensitizers to DSSC. The dye extract is derived from the turmeric plant (Curcuma longa Linn), henna tree (Lawsonia inermis L.) and pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius). TiO2 nanoparticles was used as semiconductor material for DSSC as they have a good crystallization structure and a wide surface area. The results showed that the DSSC using turmeric extraction produced a maximum power of 2.53x10-3 mW / cm-2 with an efficiency level of 0.04%. While the henna tree extract produced a power of 1.27x10-2 mW / cm-2 with an efficiency level of 0.25% and pandan extract produced a power of 4.01x10-2 mW / cm-2 with an efficiency of 0.8%. Thus the dye extract from pandan is the best sensitizer that can be applied to the DSSC.

UMKM Tiga Bintang is one of the household-scale agro industries that processes roa fish, duo fish, moringa, and purple sweet potatoes as the basic ingredients into various kinds of snacks in the form of sticks. To get the best quality in accordance with the standards desired by consumers, quality control is needed, which aims to minimize deviations that are not in accordance with the standards set by the industry itself. The purpose of this study is to see whether quality control in the production process by UMKM Tiga Bintang is controlled or uncontrolled. The type of data used in this study is primary data. The analysis process carried out in this study uses the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) approach. Statistical Quality Control is a statistical technique that is widely used to control the quality of a product, by evaluating quality in terms of compliance with specified specifications. The SQC analysis results show that the number of products examined was 24800, where the average product damage was 0.095121 or 9.5121%, with the most type of damage occurring there was a brownish product colour. The upper control limit (UCL) and the lower control limit (LCL) for each production vary. Quality control of UMKM Tiga Bintang is not well controlled because of uncontrolled production time within the upper and lower control limits.

In this study, the synthesis of magnetite was carried out through the reversed coprecipitation method with ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH) as precipitating agent. The aim of the study was to obtain the most appropriate moles ratio of Fe(III) and Fe(II) in obtaining the best characteristics of magnetite, considering that Fe (II) was easily oxidized to Fe (III). Characterization of synthesized magnetite was performed using a Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometer and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). The results showed that the moles ratio of Fe (III) and Fe (II) that produced magnetite with high yield, FTIR spectra absorption and diffractogram peaks with high intensity was magnetite synthesized using a ratio of Fe (III) and Fe (II) = 1.5: 1. Yield of magnetite synthesized in this condition was 81%. Based on the stability test, magnetite was stable at pH 2-10.

Unemployment is a very complex problem because it affects and is influenced by several factors that interact with each other following a pattern that is not always easy to understand. If unemployment is not immediately addressed, it can cause social vulnerability and potentially lead to poverty. This research will use the spline regression method in modeling the 2018 Sulawesi open unemployment rate. The results obtained are the best spline model obtained from the optimum knots point with a combination of knots 3,3,1,1,3,3. This model has the minimum GCV value 1,97 with R2 77,67%. All variables significantly influence the open unemployment rate.
