Memory and testimony studies renew classic debates that confront established theses on the violence of the 20th century. In this framework, I read the critical itinerary of Anclajes as it expands the literary canon from a corpus cut out by the memoirs in conflict in the Southern Cone. I argue that memoirs are not involved as a remnant of anecdotes of a defeat, but that they emerged in the very center of literary production as a divergent corpus that illuminates a new point of conflict in the colonial dispute over language, writing and territory.

This corpus might be examined from a perspective of “eye of the Pampa”; that is, a reading that allows us to understand axes of the Argentine intellectual debate that inter - sect cultural and political memory. In this sense, I review some articles published in Anclajes that contribute to under-examined topics, such as the recovery and study of literature written by women and other areas not explored by the metropolitan imaginary. como

: Throughout its issues, the journal Anclajes is presented as the ideal space for updating the agenda on Latin American literary studies and the archive. In its different facets, linked to the canon, tradition, the library, and characterized by its constitutive heterogeneity of materialities, technologies and supports, the Latin American archive has become a central problem and a critical perspective. This article traces its develop - ment throughout the history of the journal and analyzes the connection between the theoretical framework and the Latin American studies field.

: In 1940, the Argentine journalist, grammarian and teacher Florencio Garrigós published his Lecciones de idioma nacional . Within the framework of linguistic historiog -raphy, we aim to analyze the specific features that this work presents in the history of Argentine school grammar. To do this, we first reconstruct the professional career of its author; then, we present the Escuela del Aire, the first distance education experience that used the radio in Argentina. Finally, we analyze the text of the Lecciones , and argue that it is an innovative work in at least two senses: because of the didactic innovation that it proposes and because of the defined perspective it adopts regarding the Argen tinian linguistic variation phenomena, which it values positively.
