Agenda setting is an index of how the media prioritizes the topics and how it wants to influence the significance to the themes of public agenda. It also has the factors affecting the agenda: type of issue, type of medium and type of coverage and those are directly correlated with demographics, psychographics and behavior. Consequently, the public agenda changes towards the concern. Despite its importance of revealing the crucial aspects, some of the channels might be affected by different influencers and events. The problem is that if one media channel covers only the negative aspects happening, others are supporting and fading the actual problems. Thus, it obviously could be seen that the second category linearly depends on government orders while setting the news agenda. Here, we have identified some critical issues and decided to focus on case study. During this unbiased application, we have classified two media channels as the objects of research: Nur.kz and Tengrinews. It helped us to indicate that the agenda setting is not only depending on what the public demands and needs to know, but on tenders, benefits for the third parties, posting paid content and also could be stirred by government offers.

Abstract The study’s general objective is to determine the influence of compensation management practices on the employee performance of Banks. The main research instrument used for the study was a questionnaire. A cross-sectional research design was employed. The population of the study comprises 700 employees of selected Banks, while a sample size of 255 was derived using Taro Yamani's formula but 253 were returned and used for analysis. The reliability of the questionnaire showed a Cronbach Alpha value above 0.8 for all the constructs. Simple regression was used to test the hypotheses with the aid of Stata version 13 software. Correlation analysis showed that the constructs were positively correlated. Single regression was conducted to the formulated hypotheses and post-regression diagnostics tests were carried out to certify the regression model. The study finds that: Recognition has a significant effect on employees' performance in banks (Coef. = 0.587, p = 0.000). Pay has a significant effect on employees' performance in selected banks in Delta State (Coef. = 0.551, p = 0.000). The study concluded that fringe benefit is one of the ways to promote and retain an employee in the organization and management should be able to sense the active employees and create ways of appreciating the employee's effort put into action in the organization. The study provided that recognition is a form of compensation that boosts employee performance in the banking sector.

The study examined the effect of person-organization fit and organizational citizenship behavior of academic staff working in southwest Nigerian Public Universities. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design method. A sample size of 400 employees of the selected universities in South-West Nigeria was chosen from a total population of 8,540 employees. The stratified random sampling technique was adopted for the study. The Work Engagement Scale (WES), Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Checklist (OCBC), Personal Values Scale (PVS), and Value Congruence Scale were used to collect data (VCS). The statistical techniques used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis. All analysis was done using the statistical package for social science (SPSS) software version 25. Findings showed that value congruence (Coef. = 0.1770, P = 0.010), personality congruence (Coef. = 0.3400, P = 0.000), and work engagement congruence (Coef. = 0.1630, P = 0.001), have significant and positive effects on organizational citizenship behavior. Findings showed that 25.8% of the change in organizational citizenship behaviour was brought about by the dimensions of person-organization fit. The study concluded that person-organization fit has a significant positive effect on the organizational citizenship behaviour of academic staff working in South-Western Public Universities. The study recommended amongst others that qualified individuals with strong organizational fit and moral character are to be chosen for placement in the academic staff cadre structure of universities. The study established that value congruence, personality congruence, and work engagement congruence contribute significantly to organizational citizenship behavior of academic staff in the south-west Nigerian Public Universities.

This paper examines the effect of internal public debt and total revenue on economic growth in Iraq between 2004 and 2021. It aims to demonstrate the level of effectiveness of the independent variables on the gross domestic product as Iraq’s economic situation has been going through many difficulties during the mentioned period. After investigating the stability level of the data via unit root test and checking the long-run relationship between the variables, the autoregressive distributed lag ARDL model has been implemented. The results illustrate that total revenue, including oil and non-oil sources, contributed significantly and positively to boosting economic growth. However, internal public debt negatively influenced it; this is because the majority of the borrowed money by the government is used in the field of consumption rather than investment.

Due to the shift in societal expectations, one can analyse, and interpret the history of auditing thanks to the historical growth of the profession both inside and outside of the company. The study's goal is to investigate the audit profession, internal and external audit, professionalism, and commercialism theoretically. Hero gains understanding of the nature of materiality, evidence, professional judgment, and skepticism in auditing from the audit profession. According to pertinent literature, the accounting and auditing professions have made significant contributions to the credibility of financial reporting through their pronouncements. The paper contends that the policeman theory of auditing, which is a component of the theory of accountability that aids in explaining the evolution of auditing in the corporate sector, acts as a link between the audit profession inside and outside the corporation.

There are continuous growing in the awareness and interest of the corporate governance practices in modern-day corporations in which most of this public corporation because of the unexpected liquidations of the corporation’s examples like the Enron Corporation, WorldCom, Parmalat, Barings Bank and other global brands. The fall of all these corporations among others in the world has been cause by an unethical business conduct; accounting fraud, poor corporate governance practices and managerial inefficiencies these became lesson points for corporate organisations the world over, including Nigeria. The challenges facing the cooperate governance has become a serious and devastated problem for the Nigerian firms which leads to a reduction rate in the contributing to the gross domestic product which in turn decrease the rate of unemployment. The importance of corporate governance is to ensure compliance with all the processes, rules and regulations for well-organized delivery of managerial efficiencies in the development of a nation. This also has become an important argument among the scholars, reasons because of the failure of government, which is sponsored by the previous large state corporations across the globe. This study, therefore, study the dynamic relationship between Corporate Governance Practices and managerial efficiency: special reference to Nigeria port authority, the study adopted a cross-sectional descriptive research approach using quantitative research method, in which a self-administered questionnaire in the gathering of data, the regression model, ANOVA results and Duncan's post hoc tests are the statistically technique which was used for the data analysis. This study looks into teachers' perceptions of the Delta State Government's Covid-19 educational broadcast. The cross-sectional research design was utilized in conjunction with the survey method. Using Likert scale questions, 150 teachers from Delta State's three senatorial districts were polled. The data was analyzed using simple percentages, and the mean scores were used to determine the suitability of the results. Based on the media perception theory, the study sought to determine secondary school teachers' perceptions of government educational broadcasts during the Covid-19 lockdown, and it discovered that instructors in Delta State are not sufficiently exposed to educational broadcasting. The study concludes that, despite finding the content and quality of the Covid 19 broadcasts to be appropriate for learning, secondary school teachers in Delta State do not use educational broadcasting as a teaching method. The study suggests that secondary school teachers be regularly exposed to educational broadcasting and receive ongoing training on how to use it as an alternative to classroom instruction.

The growing upsurge of fraud and forgery circumstances in the banking sector in modern times incited this study. This problem is considered important given the role of banking sector in the economic growth and development. This paper reviewed the current scenario on financial fraud detection and prevention in Nigerian deposit money banks. The main aim is to examine the connections between acts of violence, responses, and the roles of deposit money management in Nigerian banks. The study made use of previous works that were drawn from recent journal articles on related concepts such as textbooks, and earlier academic investigations relevant to the topic. Literatures pertaining to the specific topics were reviewed using the content analysis technique. The study's conclusion is that crime has a detrimental impact on DMBs in Nigeria and that it is important to handle fees, checks, account openings, and securities carefully to prevent fraud against financial institutions, especially DMBs in Nigeria. The conclusion will be supported by a review of relevant literature and empirical review. However, it was concluded that control measures have considerably boosted the deposit money institutions' financial performance in Nigeria. The inclusion of fraud control measures has never been deceptive in Nigeria. It is suggested that there should be a strong connection between all stakeholders in fraud management and Deposit Money Banks in relations to fraud detection and control.
