Our article tries to study the way Enlightenment is taught and it has been taught in Spanish high schools, through analyzing some secondary text books on History of Spain. Those textbooks have been written at various moments. In fact, they correspond to two different organic laws, LOGSE (1990) and the current LOMCE (2013). Our main aim is to find out if recent historiographic approaches and contributions on Enlightenment are included. We would like also to know if they consider, or not, gender perspective and, if so, how it is understood. Our results show how textbooks keep, in general, traditional approaches to Enlightenment. However, we could detect a slight evolution with the incorporation of a certain number of questions on women history and new sociability approaches in more recent textbook.

espanolEl presente ensayo parte de la premisa tematica de que para realizar una adecuada exposicion sobre el Exodo de los israelitas desde Egipto a Canaan es imprescindible contar con las aportaciones de los hallazgos arqueologicos y de las fuentes literarias, tanto de la Biblia como fuera de ella, y con el mayor numero de investigaciones que los especialistas de esta materia hayan realizado. Se utiliza como perspectiva teorico-metodologica un enfoque critico que lleva a presentar, en primer lugar, lo aportado por cada una de las fuentes y lo sostenido por los diversos enfoques, para despues realizar una contrastacion de todo ello con el objetivo de que lo sostenido en cada uno de los temas analizados tenga un fuerte apoyo teorico y empirico. EnglishThis essay focuses on the thematic premise which realizes a suitable exhibition of the Israelite´s Exodus from Egypt. It is essential to rely on the contributions of the archaeological findings, the literary sources and the majority of the Bible with the most number of research studies conducted by the specialists of this matter. There is a theoretical - methodological perspective and a critical approach that leads to presenting, first, the contribution for each of the sources and the support for the diverse approaches. Later, it will focus on a contrast of all of this with the aim that the support for each of the analyzed topics has a strong theoretical and empirical support.

Classics as a discipline has always taken advantage of digital methods in research, with projects dating back to the 1970s and earlier. This article examines the integration of classics and computing, and presents a case study of EpiDoc, a markup language used in epigraphy. Positive evidence can be found for EpiDoc’s influence on collaboration, with several current collaborative projects, and the nature of the technology encouraging open, reusable scholarship. The Inscriptions of Aphrodisias project illustrates much of the potential of electronic publishing. EpiDoc’s effect on research questions themselves remains inconclusive, although definite possibilities for the future are apparent. Opening up these conclusions to the wider digital classics community shows a trend towards collaboration in recent publications and projects, as well as a gradual uptake of electronic publication.

Directora de la Casa de Cultura de Mao (Menorca), entre otros muchos cargos que desempeno, estudio incansable la historia de Menorca a traves de sus archivos, bibliotecas y yacimientos arqueologicos. En este trabajo se abordara unicamente su labor investigadora en el campo de la arqueologia balear, especialmente en su analisis de las formas arquitectonicas de las comunidades insulares prehistoricas, a traves de sus trabajos publicados en multiples congresos y revistas. De entre todos los yacimientos en los que intervino para su estudio, destaca indudablemente Sant Vicenc d’Alcaidus (Alaior, Menorca), clave interpretativa para sus teorias sobre las viviendas talayoticas. In this paper, her research will be addressed only in the field of Archaeology of Balearic Islands, especially in its analysis of the architectural forms of prehistoric island communities, through their numerous conferences and papers published in journals. Of all the sites in which she intervened, he highlights Sant Vicenc d’Alcaidus (Alaior, Minorca), stands out as the interpretive key to her theories on Talayotic houses.

A partir de una revision de estos yacimientos, el presente trabajo pretende realizar una reflexion sobre la posible autoria de estas primeras tecnologias, enmarcadas en un contexto paleoantropologico de creciente complejidad, y quizas atribuibles a miembros de otros generos. EnglishFor many years, the scientific community has considered the production of lithic artifacts as a unique characteristic of the genus Homo. However, recent discoveries made in African sites have provided results that seem to put this issue in doubt, delaying the appearance time of the first stone industries to beyond the 2.6 Myr. posed by the deposits of Kada Gona. This paper aims to make a review on these sites, trying to consider the possible authorship of that early technologies, which are framed in a high complexity paleoanthropological context, and perhaps are attributable to members of other genres.
