Testimony in stone: architecture of war from kluge to Herscher and Weizman 石头上的见证:从克鲁格到赫舍尔和魏茨曼的战争建筑

The article contributes to creating an outline of the significant postwar theoretical approaches that examine the role, purpose, and significance of architecture in war and war crimes. Starting from the Clausewitz thesis that ?war is not autonomous?, this paper attempts to reveal ?the blood that has dried in the codes? (Foucault), politics hidden behind the four walls of architecture. From the concepts of Brutality in Stone (Kluge), Warchitecture (Herscher) or Forensic Architecture (Weizman), through the lenses of architecture, the article exposes war, politics, and ideologies that shape and drive architecture by reimagining and repurposing it both in its primary, functional and cultural, representative sense. A shift from ?the era of the witness? (Felman) to the decade of evidence (Weizman) promotes architecture and its remains to the level of science, global governing, and law. The connection of timely-distanced emancipatory practices influenced by Holocaust studies establishes a discursive field for architecture as a performative rather than representative practice. The theoretical frame of the postwar landscape as second nature (Adorno) is crucial for discussing the role of architecture in the Holocaust. Furthermore, it stresses the work of Herscher and Weizman as a contribution to the critique of the depoliticized processes of resolution of the contemporary war crimes and post-conflict reconciliation. Architecture as a societal practice could potentially have a central position in memory and knowledge production, as well as the production of a counter-public sphere.

Kant’s substantiation of liberalism as a social theory: War, law, morality 康德对自由主义作为一种社会理论的实证:战争、法律、道德

In this article, we propose a consecutive analysis of Kant?s concept of liberal thought and of the basics of institutional structure of liberal community, which shape an immutable body of all possible logics of development of social practices and thinking within the frame of the liberal world order. For the purposes of the study, the methodological premise is that Kantian metaphysics of morality, law and religion can be considered one of the primal historic forms of social theory. The initial point of analysis is the concept of war (and enemy) in Kant, showing that the form of variable aporia and interpretation of epiphenomena of individual and collective consciousness, constitutes a sui generis constructive reverse side of all types of practice, to which Kant gives transcendental grounding. It is by the mentioned methodo?logical specificity that we prioritize the attention paid to the formulations of Kant?s deductions of law and morality. As a whole, the given substantiations are construed phenomenologically as specific forms of experience which are constitutive of moral, legal and religious consciousness.

Politics and perversion (Pier Paolo Pasolini’s de Sade today) 政治与变态(皮尔·保罗·帕索里尼今日的《萨德》)

The article attempts to examine Pier Paolo Pasolini?s film Salo, or 120 Days of Sodom, not only as an adaptation of Marquis de Sade?s work, but as a possible response to the problems of modern society, which reanimates fascism, no longer as political ideology, but as a ?natural? form of contemporary human sensibility. Relying on his original ?semiology of reality,? the expression of which is cinema, Pasolini?s film embodies the non-political logic of fascism as the logic of perversion, hidden behind the facade of political ideology. The article shows that Salo consistently contradicts the key principles of cinematic expressiveness of Pasolini?s theory itself, which focuses on moments in which ?reality? reveals itself (acting as life itself). As a result, the film connects the unconnected - the shock of scenes of torture and sexual violence with a cultural allegory that anesthetizes effect of visual violence. For Pasolini, both violence and culture are mechanisms for analyzing the ephemeral substance of power, which inevitably generates some form of fascism and perversion, while de Sade is the discoverer of the basic sensual (plastic) syntagmas of power, embodied in the figure of the libertine. The sadistic libertinage, which combines the idea of freedom and the practice of torture, finds itself at the very heart of contemporary politics, its operative unconscious.

The crisis of wisdom and psychoanalysis 智慧和精神分析的危机

The topic of this paper is an examination of the practical dimension of contemporary philosophical culture, both in relation to the idea of wisdom in traditional philosophy and in relation to psychoanalytical practice. In the first part of the paper, we determine what philosophical culture is, primarily by emphasizing the differences between that culture and the scientific-technological culture. In the second part of the paper, we show that such a philosophical culture has fallen into a crisis. In the third part of paper, we offer a way out of that crisis, in the form of psychoanalysis, which criticizes the primacy that philosophical culture accords to consciousness, logic, diachronic and linear ways of thinking. In the fourth and last part of the paper, we present the shortcomings of this psychoanalytical model. As a solution, we offer a new model of philosophical culture, created by the synthesis of philosophy, psychoanalysis, but also other discipline of human thought, which has similarities with Nietzsche?s anticipation of Gay Science, as well as with Jasper?s idea of transcendence.

In the text, the author examines the concept of ?violence? as a possible key term of the 20th century - primarily in the Russian experience, but also in a broader global context. ?Violence? is seen by Ksenia Golubovich as something that comes to the forefront of history after the collapse of the old class society, a society of hierarchies and unchanging patterns, and becomes that protagonist both in the construction of states and in the creative reflection of intellectuals and artists. The article brings together and treats as testimonies the texts of Svetlana Alexievich and Leo Tolstoy, Ren? Girard, Merab Mamardashvili, Martin Heidegger, Karl Marx... At the limits of knowledge: Philosophy and religion in Southwestern Neo-Kantianism 在知识的极限:西南新康德主义的哲学与宗教

The present paper investigates the essential tenets of the Southwestern Neo-Kantians? take on the philosophy of religion. Specifically, I concentrate on two diverse aspects of Windelband and Rickert?s approaches to religion. In the first place, I look at the way in which they determine religious values. In the second place, I focus on the manner in which they confront religion with the systematic structure of culture. As a result of the analysis of the texts of both authors, we see that it is possible to detect at least three possible roads to elaborate a philosophy of religion. In spite of this plurality of paths, I argue that they exhibit a similar underlying problem, namely, the problematic relationship between transcendental philosophy and metaphysics. It is for this reason that the philosophy of religion takes the form of a reflection on the limits of knowledge, and with it, on the limits of transcendental philosophy.

The paper reconstructs the concept of culture that emerges from Heinrich Rickert?s neo-Kantianism, uncovering its major historical-problematic, methodological, and philosophical implications. The central theme of the first section is the idea that modern culture is uniquely characterized by ?fragmentation?. It also unpacks the programme of Rickert?s philosophy of culture, which pursues the task of reconstructing the lost unity of culture. The second section explains the methodological implications of the problematic relationship between value and reality established in cultural goods and evaluations. Finally, the third section reconstructs the Rickertian system of values, with its peculiar effort to reconcile historicity and value absoluteness. The last part develops a critical discussion of the Rickertian project.

Retrospection and transformation of the phenomena of criticism and crisis in social theory in recent decades have led to the weakening and even ?illegitimate? renunciation of the said doublet. The paper presents an analysis of the renewal of discourse on criticism/crisis and its effects with special consideration of the possibilities of structural criticism. We included several authors of recent analyses as well as the viewpoints that have led to reconsideration of historical and analytical dynamics of two categories, structure and conjuncture, as a form of analysis of current structural processes in terms of structural analysis and criticism. The paper comprises three parts. The first part is a reflection on the reason criticism and crisis have been subjected to different processes of derogation despite their original connection. In the second part, we show the effects of different ways that crisis has manifested itself in capitalism and explain its dispersive and ?non-punctual? modalities. The third part raises the question of chances of reuniting the crisis and ?immanent criticism? based on structural criticism, and we further articulate its connections with immanent criticism. Structural criticism is viewed as a connection between immanent criticism and transcendent orientation that is focused on the reconnection between crisis and criticism, the elements related to capitalism.

Extreme situations such as the COVID-19 pandemic transparently show all the shortcomings of the Serbian system that should, in theory, provide support and protection to citizens in such circumstances. A particularly demanding task was to determine and measure the well-being of individuals during the pandemic, especially those from marginalized groups whose needs are not the priority to the system even under regular circumstances, those on the bottom of the social hierarchy who cannot influence the policies that shape their daily lives, or the decisions of authorities that further reproduce social inequalities. The paper examines institutional ethics of care during the pandemic in Serbia through the analysis of the adequacy of lockdown measures and their effects on the girls and women trafficking survivors. Analysis of the data collected in semi-structured interviews with girls and women showed that three central elements of the institutional (ethics of) care: the purpose of care, recognition of power relations, and the need for pluralistic tailoring of care to meet individuals? needs, were not fulfilled during the pandemic and that the logic of institutional care has had a politicizing character in Serbia.
