This study examines the relationship between the online labour force and real economic factors. Since the Online labour index is one of the main determinants of the GIG economy, this study also reveals which macroeconomic variables the GIG economy is based on. The aim of the study is to determine the effect of real economic factors (unemployment, economic growth, inflation) on the count of online platform users. As a result of the econometric analysis conducted with Turkey's data set for the period of June 2017 -January 2021, it has been determined that real economic factors have a statistically significant effect on the count of online platform users. According to the results of the analysis, the increase in unemployment rate and economic growth will cause an increase in the count of online platform users, while increase in inflation will cause an opposite effect.

In modern societies, employment is a social phenomenon that is central to life. Those who find a job in the labour market spend most of their day working. Since paid work means both the acquisition of better economic resources and opportunities and the attainment of social status in society, workers' working conditions are of great importance for job satisfaction and thus for the quality of work and life. In this article, after discussing various definitions, the factors that determine the level of job satisfaction are examined in general terms. However, these factors, which have been identified by different researchers at different times, do not constitute a single entity. For this reason, after a brief evaluation of their measurement, the dependence of job satisfaction on influencing factors, the so-called correlates, will be analysed in depth using two different categories. The aim of the article is to present the content of a total of ten factors within the categories of work (place) and personal behaviour and the correlation between job satisfaction as a whole and, on the basis of an employment-friendly social policy, to create a decent working environment through these factors, which, as a result of a comprehensive analysis, leads to high job satisfaction.

In the study, the validity of the risk-taking channel was investigated using the monthly data between 2003 and 2018, in particular for Brazil, South Africa and Turkey countries. According to test results, for Turkey the response of leverage rate to unexpected increases in policy interest rate was measured positively; for Brazil it was measured positively and for South Africa, it was measured positively during the sample period. Finally, for all countries the reaction of industrial production to shocks in the policy interest rate was calculated to be negative during the sample period. Thus, it is concluded that the risk-taking channel is effective for these countries during the analysis period (especially in times of crisis), and that monetary policy could be used as an effective tool for managing macroeconomic risk.

The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is the most critical indicator taking the pulse of maritime trade. Hence, it is essential to determine the macroeconomic variables that affect the BDI, which is a solid indicator for global economic activities in maritime transport. This research paper studies the association between macroeconomic indicators and the BDI. For this purpose, the Toda-Yamamoto approach was performed to examine the causal association between macroeconomic variables and the BDI. The Lee-Strazicich (LS) unit root test was applied based on Model C (break) to determine the stationary of the model series. The research's findings shed significant light on the relationship between the BDI and macroeconomic variables. According to the Toda-Yamamoto causality test results: BDI has a two-way relationship with S&P 500 and MSCI World indexes; besides, there is a one-way relationship from €/$ parity to BDI and from BDI to BCOM index.

Social media interactions, the digital form of classical word-of-mouth marketing (AAP), used to strengthen the business-brand image, have become one of the most critical evaluation criteria today. It is known how effective social media is in maximizing brand awareness and sales. For this purpose, the social media contents of the users abroad of Getir, Turkey's largest unicorn company, were analyzed. In this direction, the contents of the tweets posted in English from July 1, 2021, when Getir was launched to the European market in general, until July 1, 2022, were analyzed. Python programming language was used for data collection, and R language was used for data analysis. Social network analysis (SAA) of the most used words in the context of positive, negative, anger, anticipation, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, surprise, and trust of the emotional states of the tweets posted for Getir was performed. Social network analysis (SAA) was conducted in the context of positive, negative, anger, anticipation, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, surprise, and trust of the most used words in the emotional states of tweets for Getir. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the positive emotions of the users towards Getir were higher than the negative emotions. It has been determined that the company's development performance and social media analysis results are in parallel.

Although there have been significant developments in the female labor force participation rate in Turkey in recent years, this rate is below the OECD average. There are various social and economic reasons behind this situation. This study, female labor force participation in the Türkiye TR22 Sub-region, investigates with a logit model, taking into account the variables of age, relationship to the head of the household, marital status, education level, and household size. The micro data set of the TURKSTAT Labor Force Survey of 2021 was used in the study. The findings obtained from the analysis show that female labor force participation in the region examined in Turkey is affected by the variables of age, education level, and marital status. The results highlight that female labor force participation can be increased through education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship. The results highlight that female labor force participation can be increased through education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and the necessity of creating a new perspective on sharing responsibility within the family.

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of financial inclusion on income inequality in Turkey using the VAR approach from 2010 to 2021. The principal component anaysis technique is employed to create our own indicator representing financial inclusion, which contains the number of POS devices, the number of bank accounts, and the number of ATMs. The findings indicate that there is a reverse link between financial inclusion and income inequality. In other words, financial inclusion associated with more equitable distribution of income in Turkey. Furthermore, the Granger causality test is used to establish the direction of causality between variables. It has been observed that financial inclusion granger causes lower income inequality. However, gini index, which measures income inequality does not granger causes financial inclusion. As a results, a unidirectional causality is found from financial inclusion to income inequality in Turkey.

The concept of sustainability, which has become increasingly important in recent years, has been examined in different dimensions and disciplines. The works of international organizations such as the UN in the field of sustainability and the goals of sustainable development have enabled the emergence and spread of studies on the environment and sustainability. The two elements particularly emphasized in the scope of the study are "clean water and/or sanitation" and "life in water," The concept of blue entrepreneurship has been brought to the fore within the framework of blue growth. While studies within the framework of the concept of green growth and green entrepreneurship were carried out widely, the seas and oceans remained in the background in connection with the climate crisis. The fact that aquatic life is under threat due to the pollution of the seas and oceans and the increase in water temperature is a turning point in terms of sustainability. With this consciousness, while the oceans and seas came to the forefront, the concept of blue growth gained importance. For this reason, to ensure sustainable development and blue growth within the scope of the climate crisis, the concept of "blue entrepreneurship" should be brought to the fore and studied from a broad perspective. This study aims to define the concept of blue entrepreneurship and determine its general framework. Accordingly, suggestions were presented to future researchers for the conceptual and multidisciplinary examination of blue entrepreneurship.
