Transisi pandemik ke endemik sepanjang penularan wabak Corona telah mengubah lanskap pembelajaran menyebabkan murid terpaksa berubah kaedah belajar daripada pembelajaran secara bersemuka ke pembelajaran atas talian dan sebaliknya. Hal ini telah mempengaruhi penglibatan murid dalam pembelajaran secara maya sehingga menyebabkan keciciran berlaku dalam kalangan murid. Satu kajian tinjauan berbentuk kuantitatif telah dijalankan untuk meninjau tahap penglibatan murid semasa kelas atas talian dan kelas bersemuka dari aspek penglibatan tingkah laku, emosi dan kognitif melalui soal selidik. Instrumen soal selidik daripada Federicks et.al. (2003) telah digunakan dalam kajian ini. Seramai 355 orang murid Tahun 5 di negeri Perlis dipilih sebagai peserta kajian. Data yang diperolehi daripada soal selidik dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui tahap penglibatan murid dengan kaedah pembelajaran dari segi aspek tingkah laku, emosi dan kognitif. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan penglibatan murid sekolah rendah di kelas atas talian dan kelas bersemuka bagi aspek tingkah laku,emosi dan tingkah laku adalah pada tahap sederhana tinggi. Namun, purata min skor bagi penglibatan murid di kelas bersemuka adalah lebih tinggi daripada penglibatan murid di kelas atas talian. Kesimpulannya, tahap penglibatan murid di kelas atas talian dan kelas bersemuka adalah sama iaitu pada tahap sederhana tinggi.

Bahasa isyarat merupakan bahasa visual yang digunakan sebagai medium komunikasi bagi OKU Pekak. Penggunaan bahasa isyarat memudahkan komunikasi dan memberi peluang kepada mereka untuk meluahkan rasa, pendapat, idea, perasaan dan sebagainya. Di Malaysia, Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) merupakan bahasa ibunda bagi OKU Pekak yang telah diangkat sebagai bahasa rasmi dalam Akta OKU 2008. Bagaimanapun, perkembangan inovasi bagi OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama Islam jauh berbeza dengan inovasi terminologi agama Islam yang sedia ada. Meskipun demikian, pelbagai inovasi yang dijalankan bagi memberi peluang OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama. Justeru, artikel ini bertujuan menerangkan inovasi yang dibangunkan oleh pelbagai pihak termasuk pihak sekolah, badan persatuan bukan kerajaan, institusi pengajian dan institusi agama dalam menerangkan terminologi agama Islam kepada OKU Pekak dari 1998 sehingga 2022. Kajian ini dijalankan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis dokumen terhadap cetakan buku isyarat dan aplikasi isyarat yang telah dibangunkan. Dapatan menunjukkan pelbagai inovasi yang dilakukan dalam membangunkan bahan bantu mengajar bagi mengisi kelompangan OKU Pekak untuk memahami terminologi agama. Entrepreneurship courses have been a part of the Malaysian university curriculum for the past 30 years, catering to students from business, science, and technology backgrounds. This study aims to investigate the perceptions and interest levels of civil engineering students towards the ENT600:Technology Entrepreneurship course. The research employs a quantitative approach through a survey design study, collecting data from 65 respondents through questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 28.0 software, employing descriptive analysis and independent t-test. The study results reveal that students hold a positive view of the course, with an increase in their knowledge and an improvement in learning abilities. The course generates a sense of satisfaction and enthusiasm among the students. Moreover, female students exhibit a higher level of interest in the course than male students, suggesting possible gender differences in the factors that influence student interest. The findings indicate the need for educators and course designers to consider these factors to develop and deliver courses that are inclusive and engaging for all students. However, the study has limitations, including a small sample size and a focus on a single course. Future research should explore the factors influencing students' interest in different courses and investigate the potential role of gender in shaping these factors.

Efikasi kendiri guru dapat memastikan seseorang guru melaksanakan langkah kawalan ke atas pemikiran, perasaan, motivasi dan tindakan mereka. Maka, kajian ini membincangkan tentang hubungan tahap efikasi kendiri guru sejarah dengan tahap penerapan Kemahiran Pemikiran Sejarah (KPS) sekolah rendah. Kajian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensi untuk menganalisis data dikumpul melalui kaedah kuantitatif. Data dikumpul menerusi instrumen soal selidik dengan menggunakan Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) oleh Tschannen-Moran dan Hoy dan item yang dibina oleh pengkaji sendiri dan disesuaikan dengan kajian ini. Menerusi reka bentuk pensampelan bertujuan dan rawak mudah, seramai 80 orang guru sekolah rendah luar bandar di Sarawak telah terlibat dengan kajian ini. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 25.0 yang melibatkan skor min dan korelasi. Frekuensi dan peratusan turut digunakan dalam kajian ini. Dapatan kajian mendapati bahawa tahap efikasi kendiri guru Sejarah berada pada tahap sederhana (min = 4.03, SP = 0.654). Tahap penerapan KPS pula berada pada tahap tinggi (min = 4.06, SP = 0.745). Kajian ini mendapati terdapat hubungan antara tahap efikasi kendiri guru Sejarah dan tahap penerapan KPS. Kesimpulannya, dapat dibuktikan bahawa tahap penerapan KPS di sekolah rendah luar bandar Sarawak dipengaruhi oleh tahap efikasi kendiri guru.

Kajian yang dijalankan bertujuan untuk membangunkan Instrumen Pengurusan Diri Murid Berkeperluan Khas Masalah Pembelajaran (MBKBP) Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR) Semakan Tahun 1 sebagai alat pengujian dan pengukuran tahap pencapaian kemahiran murid. Kajian ini juga menggunakan Model McIntire & Miller (2007) yang telah diubahsuai kepada tiga fasa. Kajian ini adalah kajian yang dijalankan pada fasa kedua (Pembinaan) daripada keseluruhan kajian besar. Kaedah kesahan pakar digunakan dalam pembangunan instrumen untuk menilai kebolehpercayaan item yang telah dibangunkan. Hasil analisis daripada kesahan pakar tersebut nilai alpha cronbach akan dilihat untuk memastikan darjah persetujuan diantara pakar penilai yang dilantik. Hasil dapatan analisis pakar tersebut akan menghasilkan satu Instrumen Pengurusan Diri Murid Berkeperluan Khas untuk menilai tahap kandungan item yang telah dibangunkan agar bersesuaian dengan tahap keupayaan MBKBP dalam penguasaan Mata Pelajaran Pengurusan Diri tahun 1.

Teacher trainees attended their online lesson during pandemic Covid-19. The survey was conducted to identify the efficiency of Google Classroom as a teaching tool. The 40 teacher trainees from a teacher education institute in Klang Valley was selected as the samples. They gave their responses in the question via Google Form. Results showed that teacher trainees agreed that Google Classroom was an effective tool for online learning. However, 52.5% of them faced limited internet access. While there were various constraints in online learning, teacher trainees have to accept the new norm of learning online and gradually move to personalized learning.

his quantitative study investigates the language learning motivation (LLM) adopted by form six students in preparation for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) in Kota Kinabalu. The subjects were 306 form six students enrolled in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) in Kota Kinabalu. The instrument for data collection was a 27-item six-point Likert scale Language Learning Motivation Questionnaire (LLMQ) which was adapted from Foreign Language Learning Motivation Questionnaire (FLLMQ). Descriptive statistics using SPSS v 28 were used to analyse the data. Results indicated that generally, the students were highly motivated to learn English in preparation for MUET. Students’ motivation orientation in learning English was sociocultural followed by knowledge. These results offer useful practical instructional implications concerning the students’ motivational orientations in the English language and MUET classroom.

Kajian mengenai niat menginap semula telah menarik perhatian penting daripada pengkaji lepas dan para sarjana. Secara khusus, kajian ini menyiasat secara empirikal pengaruh persepsi ketulenan, persepsi nilai, persepsi risiko, komunikasi elektronik dari mulut ke mulut, dan kepekaan harga terhadap niat mengunjungi semula homestay di Kundasang, Sabah. Kesan pengantara sikap tinggal di inap desa terhadap hubungan antara pembolehubah telah diuji. Data yang dikumpul daripada 178 pelawat homestay dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan pemodelan persamaan struktur kuasa dua terkecil separa (PLS-SEM) yang disokong oleh SmartPLS. Hasilnya mendedahkan bahawa persepsi ketulenan, risiko dan komunikasi elektronik dari mulut ke mulut secara signifikan mempengaruhi niat lawatan semula, manakala nilai persepsi dan sensitiviti harga tidak mempunyai kesan yang ketara. Tambahan pula, didapati bahawa sikap pelanggan menjadi pengantara hubungan antara nilai yang dirasakan, kepekaan harga, dan niat melawat semula.

On the basis of the discrepancy model, a need analysis questionnaire was distributed to 92 randomly selected special education teachers in Malaysia to determine if they required a specialised module for early braille learning lessons. The results of the survey indicate that teachers strongly agree that they need a guided module with detailed instructions and video demonstrations in teaching early braille lessons. Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) was chosen to determine the elements, constructs, and items required to design and develop the contents for Pre-Braille Skills Module. The Content Assessment of the Pre-Braille Skills Module questionnaire is used to collect data from seven authorised subject matter experts. The chosen elements, constructs, and items must satisfy three criteria of triangular fuzzy numbers: threshold value (d) ≤ 0.2, percentage of experts in agreement > 75%, and fuzzy score with a minimum value of 0.5. Malaysia, a plural societal country which is also known for its richness in multi religion, multicultural and multilingualism for years. Malaysia comprises various ethnic groups and leaving the Bumiputera, Chinese and Indians as the major ones. To remain the element of multiculturalism and the independence that we; Malaysians have gained, History as a subject plays an important role. History is a compulsory subject for all Malaysian students to study and pass in their form five SPM examinations. Therefore, teaching and learning in a classroom should take place in a fun, interesting and meaningful way to attain the student’s full attention and participation to achieve the intended lesson objectives. As students are keener into technology these days, the use of online learning materials plays a vital role in attaining the student’s participation in History classes. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to identify the instructional learning materials available in teaching history, factors that teachers consider in selecting instructional materials and the way teachers present and interpret instructional materials in teaching history. A total of five history teachers all over Malaysia are involved in this descriptive study.
