Web-Based Triage Game Application Development as A Disaster Triage Learning Tools During The Covid-19 Pandemic for Nursing Students 基于web的分类游戏应用程序开发作为Covid-19大流行期间护理学生的灾难分类学习工具

The current Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on every aspect of people's lives, including the education. Restrictions on activities at the outside cause the current learning process to be carried out at home using the online method. This method is also applied in higher education in Nursing, especially in disaster nursing courses. In order for the learning process to be well absorbed by students, creative and effective learning tools are needed. Based on this, researchers will conduct research on the development of a Web-based Triage Games application as a learning tools for disaster triage during the COVID-19 pandemic for nursing students. Research and development methods apply the ADDIE model, that consist of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The application that has been developed is then tested on 90 undergraduate Nursing students who are taking the seventh semester. The purpose of the research is to develop a Web-based Triage Game application, determine the effectiveness of its use as a learning medium and determine student assessments of the Web-based Triage Game application learning media. The results of the research on web-based triage game applications were well developed, the applications proved effective (N Gain Score >75%) in improving student learning outcomes and more than 50% of students stated that triage game applications were creative and innovative and could increase learning motivation. Conclusion: triage game application is effective as a learning media for disaster triage during a pandemic

Correlation between Psychological Distress and Coping Mechanism Strategy among Health Workers with Confirmed COVID-19 新冠肺炎确诊医务人员心理困扰与应对机制策略的相关性

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has become a serious problem in the world of health that attacks the wider community or globally and has an impact in the form of psychological disorders among health workers as the forefront in the management of COVID-19; it is necessary for health workers with confirmed COVID-19 to have a coping mechanism strategy to overcome the problem of psychological distress. This study aims to determine the correlation between psychological distress and coping mechanism strategy among health workers with confirmed COVID-19.Methods: The quantitative descriptive method with a cross sectional approach was applied in this study which was conducted on June 3–July 2, 2021 and involved 129 health workers with confirmed COVID-19 in Majalengka District who were selected by incidental sampling technique. Data were collected through DASS-21 and BRIEF COPE questionnaires. Data analysis used frequency distribution, pearson correlation and multiple regression.Results: Based on this study, the highest score was obtained for the category of psychological distress (anxiety) is 43%, the coping mechanism strategy among health workers with confirmed COVID-19 was problem-focused coping by 2.95 and there was a significant correlation between psychological distress and coping mechanism strategy among health workers with confirmed COVID-19.Conclusions: Research result there was a significant correlation between psychological distress and coping mechanism strategys among health workers with confirmed COVID-19. Multidisciplinary interventions to deal with psychological problems in health workers are required to minimize the level of anxiety and stress they face.

Effect of Positive Self-Talk on Anxiety Among Patients with Covid-19 积极自我交谈对新冠肺炎患者焦虑的影响

Introduction: Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a problem that is being widely recognized and occurs in more than 200 countries in the world. The increase in cases has a negative impact on aspects of human life, which can cause anxiety. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of positive self-talk on the anxiety of COVID-19 patients.Methods: The population in this study were all COVID-19 patients at Adam Malik Hospital Medan with a total sample of 70 people. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria in this study of patients with COVID-19 who were hospitalized with moderate degrees, patients who were cooperative and able to follow the instructions of the researcher. The research design was quasi-experimental and the data analysis used was paired t-test and independent t-test with the p-value <0.05.Result: The results showed that there was anxiety before and after the action was taken between the control group and the intervention group (p=0.000, <0.005). Based on the independent t-test, it showed that there was a positive effect of self-talk on the anxiety of COVID-19 patients before and before the action was taken (p = 0.000, <0.005).Conclusion: Therefore, these results indicate that positive self-talk is effective in reducing anxiety levels in COVID-19 patients. This intervention can be used as an alternative in nursing services to help reduce anxiety levels

Introduction: The learning process at the university level, especially in nursing, has changed since the number of cases of COVID-19 has continued to increase. Various problems after one year of the pandemic include students complained of boredom and lack of focus on learning compared to conventional learning in the classroom. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of discovery learning method on students’ self-motivation through online learning in the COVID-19 pandemic.Method: This study used a quasi-experimental with pre-post control group design and conducted in two areas, PSIK Sam Ratulangi University as an Intervention group and PSIK Stikes Jendral Achmad Yani Cimahi as control group. We recruited a total sample of 82 respondents in total. This study lasted for four weeks with six stages described as two t meetings a week. To measure students' self-motivation, the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) instrument totaling 32 items was used. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test.Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of discovery learning methods with self-motivation in online learning in community nursing course [p=0.00; Z = -2.28] and emergency nursing course [p=0.00; Z = -3.43].Conclusions: The results of the study are promising as the course can have a direct effect on the nursing education system, especially in improving the quality of learning methods. This method may be used as a way to improve student skill in the nursing courses especially community nursing and emergency nursing.

The Relationship between the Degree of Stressors and the Coping Strategies of Older Adult Living in Nursing Home 养老院老年人应激源程度与应对策略的关系

Introduction: Stress is potentially overwhelming, especially for older adults. Different types of stressors require different coping strategies. This study aimed to find the relationship between the stressors and the coping strategies among the older adults at a nursing home in Yogyakarta, and to develop a stress debriefing program.Methods: This study utilized a quantitative research method with a descriptive correlational-comparative design. To develop the stress debriefing program, the questionnaires about stressors and coping strategies were used as the research instruments. The respondents recruited using purposive sampling with total of 100 older adults. Simple descriptive through to complex analyses and multivariate regression were carried out using SPSS.Results: The results showed that the p-value of the difference between the demographics and the degree of stressors was 0.70; while the p-value of the relationship between the degree of stressors and coping strategies was 0.07. It means that there was no significant relationship between the degree of stressors and the coping strategies of older adults living in nursing home.Conclusions: The results found that there was no significant relationship between the degree of stressors and the coping strategies employed by the respondents. Nurses should be aware of  the stressors and help the residents to develop  appropriate coping strategies.

Examining Academic Stress and Its Source Among Nursing Professional Students (Ners) Using the Modified Perception of Academic Stress Scale (PAS) 运用改进的学业压力感知量表(PAS)调查护理专业学生的学业压力及其来源

ABSTRACTIntroduction: Nurse professional students experienced academic stress due to the changing mode of learning to online learning. Academic stress also have a negative impact on the achievement of nursing profession students' competencies. There is an urgent need study to measure academic stress experienced by nursing professional students using a tailored and valid instrument.Method: This study is a quantitative study used survey design to measure academic stress in nursing students at the professional stage using a modified questionnaire from the Perceived Academic Stress Scale (PAS). There were 339 nursing students in profession phase from private college in Yogyakarta. Respondents were obtained by consecutive sampling technique. The psychometric testing of the modified PAS academic stress scale attempts to determine the instrument's internal, external, and reliability for use with nursing professional students. Internal validity was determined in two methods in this study: by examining corrected item-total correlation and by doing exploratory factor analysis (EFA) on each produced item. The instrument's external validity is determined by administering it to two specialists in mental nursing and nursing education.Results: The developed instrument has internal consistency reliability of 0.818 (Cronbach’s alpha), there was evidence for content validity, and factor analysis resulted in five correlated and theoretically meaningful factors. Based in this instrument, most students experience moderate academic stress during their learning at the professional program phase.Conclusions: The modified PAS instrument used in this study is a tailored, valid and trustworthy for measuring academic stress of nursing professional students during pandemic Covid-19.
摘要简介:护理专业学生因学习方式向网络学习转变而产生学业压力。学业压力对护理专业学生胜任力的实现也有负面影响。目前迫切需要研究一种适合护理专业学生的有效的学业压力测量方法。方法:本研究采用问卷调查法,采用修改后的《认知学业压力量表》(PAS)问卷,对护理专业阶段学生的学业压力进行定量研究。日惹市私立大学护理专业学生339名。调查对象采用连续抽样方法。修正PAS学业压力量表的心理测量测试试图确定该工具在护理专业学生中使用的内部、外部和可靠性。本研究采用两种方法来确定内部效度:通过检验校正后的项目-总相关性和对每个生产项目进行探索性因子分析(EFA)。通过对两名心理护理和护理教育专家进行管理,确定了该工具的外部效度。结果:所研制的量表内部一致性信度为0.818 (Cronbach’s alpha),内容效度存在证据,因子分析得到5个相关且具有理论意义的因子。在此基础上,大多数学生在专业课程阶段的学习中都经历了适度的学业压力。结论:本研究使用的改进PAS仪器是一种量身定制的、有效的、值得信赖的护理专业学生在Covid-19大流行期间的学业压力测量方法。

The psychometric testing of the modified PAS academic stress scale attempts to determine the instrument's internal, external, and reliability for use with nursing professional students. Introduction: Early marriage occurs in many countries worldwide, especially in Indonesia, one of the ten countries with the highest number of child marriages under 18. Lack of knowledge about the impact of early marriage, poor socioeconomic level, culture, and family history of early marriage are influencing factors, so there is a need for an intensive program involving policymakers and empowering youth to reduce the incidence of early marriage. Therefore, the study aimed to determine the effect of the community skills building program (CSBP) on the tendency to early marriage in adolescent girls in Tasikmalaya.Methods: Research was quasi-experimental pre-post-test with a control group. The population is all adolescent girls in one of the public junior high schools in the city of Tasikmalaya, with a sample of 60 respondents who were selected using consecutive sampling. The inclusion criteria are adolescent girls aged 10-18 years, healthy and unmarried, for the exclusion criteria are adolescent girls who have moved domicile. Data retrieval using questionnaires on the tendency of early marriage contained 47 valid and reliable data. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon signed ranks test and Mann Whitney u test.Results: The results of data analysis showed that p-value 0.000 < p-value 0.05, which indicates a significant influence of the community skills building program (CSBP) on the tendency to early marriage in adolescent girls.Conclusions: It can be concluded that the application of the community skill-building program (CSBP) can reduce the tendency of early marriage in adolescent girls.

Introduction: In connection with preventing the spread of Covid-19, all forms of education, including nursing education, are carried out by videoconference or e-learning (online). This also has an impact on nursing professional students where the application of skills for practice in hospitals is limited so that it greatly affects learning achievement. The application of the model is Hospital Clinical Practice Based Simulation an alternative for nurse students to practice during the Covid-19 pandemic so that learning outcomes can still be achieved. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the HCPBS Model on the practical learning outcomes of Nursing Profession students at STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This study uses a quasi-experimental design with posttest control group design approach. The research sample was students who underwent the nursing profession stage at STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin Force X as many as 30 students. Sampling was carried out using the technique of Exhaustive Sampling. The statistical test used an independent sample t-test with a significance level of <0.05. The research measuring tools are in the form of guidebooks and SOPs for the HCPBS model as well as learning outcomes by looking at assessments from cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects. Results: Based on the results of the study, it was found that the significance value of the p-value was 0.001 with a 95% confidence interval of 4.971-9.042. The difference in the mean value between the intervention group and the control group was 7.007. Where the average value for the intervention group is greater than the control group, namely 89.57 for the intervention group and 82.57 for the control group. Conclusion: So, it can be concluded that the Hospital Clinical Practice Based Simulation model is effective in increasing the practical learning achievement of the Nursing Professional Nurse STIKES Suaka Insan Banjarmasin during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the intervention group.

E-Module: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever toward Knowledge and Learning Motivation among Nursing Students 电子模块:护生对登革出血热的认知与学习动机

Introduction: Innovation media to support the learning process among nursing students should be concerned. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the e-module dengue hemorrhagic fever toward knowledge and motivation among nursing students. Methods: A pre-experimental study design was undertaken from September to October 2021. We recruited 45 bachelor nursing students in the third year at Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire that was developed by researchers and  motivation using Students Motivation towards Science Learning questionnaire. E-Module: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever was implemented for seven days. Finally, the data were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed rank test and dependent paired t-test with level of significance p<0.05. Results: We found that e-module was a promising intervention as learning media to increase the knowledge (p=0.02) and motivation (p=0.002). Conclusion: E-Module as learning media can be a promising intervention to increase the knowledge and learning motivation among nursing students. It can be suggested to universities to consider E-Module to support the learning process.
