The tectonic layering of the crust-mantle shell of the Earth has been studied. The tectonic layering of the earth's surface rocks marks the rhythmic systems of cracks, which makes it possible to measure the length of the stratification modes with model calculations. The experiment to measure the thickness of the elements of tectonic layering in the outcrops of rocks of the Khibiny massif using the results of measurements in the model of tectonic layering of the earth's crust-mantle shell in this area, was confirmed by the results of seismological work.

The current state of soil fertility was estimated at 2 sites of experimental fields of the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden. Soils in both areas are characterized by a light granulometric composition. The sites vary in the content of organic matter in the soils, as well as the acidity and proportion of the sites where the liming is needed. The availability of phosphorus at all sites in both areas is characterized as high, potassium — from medium to high, mineral forms of nitrogen — as very low.

In the present article, we evaluated the genetic diversity of 216 specimens from 22 natural T. suaveolens localities in the Russia and Kazakhstan using ISSR (Inter Simple Sequence Repeat) method. The analysis of the biogeographical distributional pattern of the revealed genetic groups supported our hypothesis that the evolution and distribution of T. suaveolens were likely affected by the Early Khvalynian transgression of the Caspian Sea and the following time.

As part of comprehensive environmental research of the highest Arctic mountain (goltsovy) desert belt of the Khibiny, data were obtained on the annual temperature dynamics in fragmentary cushions of vegetation. Area of investigation was disposed on the plateau of Mt. Aikuayvenchorr (1059–1063 m a. s. l.) and Vudyavrchorr plateau (1023 m a. s. l.). The period with negative values of the average daily temperature of the litter prevailed in the annual cycle (more than 200 days or 58 %). The sum of positive and negative temperatures, the number of days with temperatures below 0, from 0 ̊C to +5 ̊C, from + 5 ̊C to + 10 ̊C and above + 10 ̊C in litters was determined. The differences in the annual temperature dynamics in the litters of the alpine belt for two areas of research located on the Aikuayvenchorr and Vudyavrchorr plateaus are shown.

The distribution of Scots pine trees according to the gradation of trunk diameter in stands of 85-year-old northern taiga pine forests (Kola Peninsula) has been investigated. Based on the approximation by the Weibull distribution, the presence of two main types of the size structure of forest stands was revealed. The distribution shape coefficients are reliably related to the peculiarities of the habitat conditions, which are reflected in the stand basal area and the ratio of mosses and lichens in the moss-lichen cover

For the first time on the territory of the Polar-Alpine Botanical Garden in the agrocenoses of dendrological collections, natural aphidophages were discovered, identified and described — Coccinellidae (Coleoptera) — 7 species, Aphidiidae (Hymenoptera) — 3 species, Aphelinidae — 1 species, Cecidomyiidae (Diptera) — 1 species. Analysis of trophic relationships allowed us to determine the food specialization of natural entomophage

Relations are practically implemented by database management systems in the form of two-dimensional tables. In this regard, certain difficulties arise in the development of relational database schemas, in which it is necessary to represent objects with an alterable (open) set of attributes. The article proposes a solution to this problem by including special relations in the scheme - relations of properties directory. Properties directory allow replenishing the sets of object attributes without changing the structure of the database. Examples of the practical use of properties directory in the development of database schemas of two information systems are presented.

The unified methodological basis of information and analytical support of socio-economic security network-centric control in the region is proposed. The problem of regional security support is discussed at the level of risk-management of critical infrastructure resilience violation of the socio-economic systems. The methodology and tools for its implementation are aimed to information and analytical support of situational centers functioning in the region.

A paradox is understood as reasoning (knowledge base), from which follows the incompatibility of properties for some objects participating in it. Some methods to analyze and eliminate such paradoxes in intelligent systems based on E-structures and n-tuple algebra are considered and illustrated by examples.

The work is aimed at solving the three-dimensional problem of finding the open-pit working edge positions by the periods of mining, taking into account the a priori specified productivity for the mineral and overburden. The proposed method uses a block model of a pit, where for each block its coordinates, the content of minerals in it, and the conditional initial value of the block are known. Also, a discounting function is set - a change in the total value of a block, depending on the period of its mining. The task is to find the distribution of blocks over mining periods that maximizes the total value of the blocks. Combinatorial search acceleration is achieved by representing a number of technological constraints in the form of global constraints.
