Annotated list of non-native plants of the Yuganskiy Nature Reserve (Western Siberia) 尤甘斯基自然保护区外来植物注释名录(西伯利亚西部)

In order to identify alien plant species on the territory of the Yuganskiy Nature Reserve (Western Siberia), cordons, stations and the adjacent territory were examined where in total 44 species from 40 genera, 18 families, 14 orders, 2 classes were identified. 26 species are new for the Yuganskiy Nature Reserve. The largest number of species is represented in the families Poaceae (8), Rosaceae (7) and Asteraceae (6). Of these, 17 species were introduced during the use of the research station. Dispersal of introduced species was not revealed. However, the habit, regular flowering and fruiting of most of the examined plants indicate their high vitality in the new ecological condition. Perennial garden plants such as strawberries, spring onions, raspberries reduce their area under the pressure of local meadow species. An annotated list of species is given, containing information about the place of discovery, ecological conditions of growth, date of observation, observer or collector, and the collection number of the specimen in the herbarium of the Yuganskiy Nature Reserve.

The species composition of the genus Incarvillea Juss., tested in PABGI since 1939, was analyzed. The seasonal rhythm of plant development was studied, the survival points and the introduction coefficient were calculated. It was found that most species only vegetate, had low survival points and an introduction coefficient < 1, and were not very suitable for introduction in the Kola Polar region. Only two species (Incarvillea zhogdianensis Gray- Wilson and Incarvillea mairei (H. Lev.) Grierson) had an introduction coefficient > 1. These species are promising for introduction; it is advisable to continue their study.

Garden therapy in VILAR botanical garden: uses, prospects and challenges VILAR植物园的园林疗法:用途、前景与挑战

The results of studying the number of microorganisms in the air above various species of aromatic plants, elements of flower bed and landscaping in the VILAR botanical garden are presented. It is shown that there are less microorganisms in the air above a flower bed created from aromatic, medicinal and ornamental plants than in the air above the lawn by 1,4 times, and by 1,7–2,5 times than above the dirt and asphalt paths. The greatest antimicrobial effect was observed for Hyssopus officinalis L., Origanum vulgare L., Thymus serpyllum L. Due to the lack of specially trained personnel, mainly passive garden therapy is carried out.

In the Kola Peninsula, the dynamics of small rodents number has been completely studied for a long period since 1936, but without taking into account the vertical distribution of animals. Because of the manifestation of adaptive responses by small mammals to high-altitude ecological differences, it is necessary to assess population fluctuations and study adaptation of individual mammals species in mountains of Kola North. The long-term dynamics and life cycles of the red-gray vole were investigated in the Lapland Nature Reserve with special attention to the vertical vegetation zones and seasons. The inter-annual fluctuations in the species abundance, the ratio of periods and their capacities on the spectra of such fluctuations are revealed.

Evaporation from the mires of the Kola Peninsula 科拉半岛沼泽的蒸发

The article considers the data of long-term observations of evaporation from the mires of the Kola Peninsula. The main factors affecting evaporation from mires are the heating of the evaporating surface, the moisture supply, the vegetation cover and its developmental stage. The main contribution to the total evaporation is due to transpiration of vegetation (98 %). Lichen cover significantly reduces evaporation. The intra-seasonal pattern of evaporation from mires micro-landscapes are in good agreement as to phases, but differ in extent. The correlation of evaporation among individual micro-landscapes, micro-relief and open water surface was revealed. The influence of the degree of development of the microrelief on the amount of evaporation was found.

The current study shows that decomposition of plant residues in the Umbrisol of Spitsbergen proceeds quite intensively despite the high latitudinal position. The rate of decomposition depends on the type of plant. The dependence of the decomposition intensity on the altitude is less clear.

A few soil types were studied at the south-west coast of West Spitsbergen Island during 2004–2018. The article discusses the morphological features and properties of the most common soil types in the surveyed area, including Folic Sceletic Umbrisols, Sceletic Umbrisols of the polygonal complexes, Histic Gleysols and Folic Gleysols of tussock bog, and Sceletic Dystric Regosols.

Preliminary chorological analysis of vascular plants flora in mountain tundra and Arctic mountain deserts in Khibiny Mountains (Murmansk Region) 希比尼山区(摩尔曼斯克地区)山地冻原和北极山地沙漠维管植物区系的初步时序分析

Percentage of bio-geographic elements of vascular plants was analysed in Mountain Tundra (MT) and the cold Arctic Mountain (goltzovy) desert (AMD) belts in Khibiny Mountains. Flora of MT (191 species) is richer than flora of AMD (62 species) more than three times. Arctic group of species in MT comprises 42 %, hypoarctic (26 %) and boreal together with polyzonal (32 %). In flora of AMD prevails arctic group of species (63 %), hypoarctic group is on the second place (23 %) and boreal (14 %). The ratio of latitudinal bio-geographical groups in MT corresponds to the hypoarctic type of flora, and in AMD — to the arctic type, that confirms the differentiation of treeless belts in Khibiny Mountains. Groups of species with circumpolar distribution prevail in the species lists of both treeless belts (45 % in MT and 55 % in AMD). Other longitudinal groups in MT include species with east-American-European (10 %), east-American-European-Asiatic (10 %), Euro-Siberian (Euro-Asiatic) (15 %), and European (10 %) distribution. In AMD species with amphi-Atlantic distribution comprise 25 %, species with Euro-Siberian (Euro-Asiatic) and European distribution have less share (8 and 3 %)

Notes on lichens on some islands in Onega Bay of the White Sea (Republic of Karelia) 白海(卡累利阿共和国)奥涅加湾一些岛屿上的地衣

Information about lichens on Kondostrov Island and five other islands situated nearby in Onega Bay of the White Sea is given for the first time. A distinctive feature of this archipelago is Russian larch (Larix archangelica) growing in an isolated position in the westernmost point. All in all, 145 lichen species have been recorded from six islands, with the highest richness (90 species) on the largest island Kondostrov. Bryoria fremontii and Lobaria pulmonaria are red-listed in the Russian Federation; six more species, viz. Chaenotheca gracilenta, Collema nigrescens, Pertusaria coronata, Ramalina obtusata, R. roesleri, and R. subfarinacea, are red-listed in the Republic of Karelia.

The results of 40-year monitoring of the level of heavy metal pollution of Al-Fe-humus podzols of pine forests in the Kola Peninsula showed that, despite on 5–9-fold decrease in the volume of atmospheric emissions by the “Severonickel” smelter complex, the phytotoxicity of soils remains high in the buffer zone and is very high within the impact zone. Under the conditions of a field experiment, sparingly soluble polymetallic dust is very slowly transformed into more mobile forms of heavy metals available to plants.
对科拉半岛松林al - fe -腐殖质灰壤土重金属污染水平的40年监测结果表明,尽管“塞弗尼镍”冶炼厂的大气排放量减少了5 - 9倍,但缓冲带土壤的植物毒性仍然很高,影响区内土壤的植物毒性非常高。在田间试验的条件下,少量可溶性多金属粉尘非常缓慢地转化为植物可利用的更具流动性的重金属形式。
