The correct calculation of the cost of production is essential for a manufacturing business. The accuracy of the calculation can increase business competitiveness through a cost leadership strategy. This activity aimed to provide training in determining the cost of production in Umi Wiwik's business by using a comparative analysis of variable and complete costing methods. This activity was carried out at the Umi Wiwik business in Padang Tae Ampiang Parak, Sutera Sub-district, Pesisir Selatan, West Sumatra. The method used descriptive analysis by applying variable costing and complete costing to calculate the cost of production of tuna nuggets and tuna meatballs. The community engagement activity was carried out by presentation, discussions and exercises for 15 participants. The calculation result showed significant differences between variable costing and full costing implementation. The cost of production using the variable costing method is lower than the entire costing method. It allows Umi Wiwik's business to set the selling price of tuna nuggets and meatballs at a lower price, with the same profit target, than competitors and make it more attractive to potential consumers.

The study of International Relations claims that the main agenda of learning is to create world peace, but classical IR classes talk more about narratives about war. The initiation of this community service activity departed from a critique of classical IR studies, which believed that if we want peace, we must learn about peace, not war. Conflict is something natural and unavoidable. Likewise, students managing their organizations face various conflicts. Conflicts cause students to trap in physical feuds, such as brawls and beatings of students or verbally slandering or cursing. When conflicts resolve with violence, students managing their organizations have not applied the values and practices of non-violence. Understanding and managing conflict are vital for students not to become destructive. This activity targets students who are part of student organizations in the city of Padang. Activities using various methods, including material presentations, interactive discussions, and student case analysis presentations. The participants conducted an evaluation pre-test and post-test to assess the activity's effectiveness. There was a change in students' perspective and knowledge of conflict and conflicting styles at the end of the activity.

A community of Tikalak Wangi is a form of farmer group business carried out by the Nagari Pasia Laweh in order to increase productivity in the fisheries sector. Fish farming is part of any sector that has the potential to support the needs of the local community. The main problems currently exist for partners are a lack of facilities for cultivation, such as the use of bamboo as support for tarpaulin ponds, low quality of tarpaulin types, unstructured pond water circulation, and water pumps that are not optimal in regulating water. Furthermore, the quality of fish feed alternatives is still not maximized, and the business profits are not optimal due to no post-harvest processing. It was not easy to get a return on investment. Therefore, there needs to be a transfer of technology using the biofloc system to catfish farmers. This activity aimed to develop an alternative fish farming technology and apply fisheries skills for the community. This program resulted in the socialization and construction of catfish ponds with biofloc technology at the Tikalak Wangi Nagari Pasia Laweh Community Center, Palupuh District, Agam Regency.

One of the nutritional problems in children indicated by stunting is a risk factor for impaired immune function. The most significant component of the immune system is nutrients that generally cannot be produced by the body but depend on various food intakes. The Faculty of Public Health, Andalas University, assisted several urban villages in Padang City. Efforts to improve the skills of the existing Public Health Services in each area need to be optimized. One form of activity that was carried out was a workshop on Emo-Demo. This activity's output target was to increase health workers' knowledge and skill to educate cadres of public health service in increasing children's immunity during the pandemic and prevent stunting with the Demo method. This activity went smoothly, and all Public Health Centre officers were enthusiastic about participating. Public Health Centre officers can train the cadres in their working area with Emo-Demo skills.

Incidents of child abuse increase every year, including cases in West Sumatra. Violence experienced by children can cause physical disorders, impairment in cognitive, emotional, and social development, and discrimination in the social environment. The government has set rules regarding the protection of children against violence. Still, not all people know the forms of child abuse, their impact on children, and how to report child abuse cases. Therefore, we held a webinar, "Knowing more about child abuse," to educate people. One hundred three participants from various backgrounds attended this activity, but only 90 completed the pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Based on paired T-test, there was a significant increase in the mean score of participants' knowledge about emotional violence, sexual violence, and neglect/abandonment after the webinar (p<0.05). In addition, there was also an increase in the mean score of participants' knowledge about physical violence, although it was not statistically significant (p=0.103). In conclusion, education in webinars can increase public knowledge about child abuse.

Community compliance to implement health protocols began to slacken in New Normal Period. This decrease in compliance is in line with the sloping rate of Covid-19 transmission in West Sumatra. There was a new case of Covid-19 again on November 1, 2021, after reaching a peak case during the pandemic. Education on social media such as TV, Facebook, and Instagram, which has been intensively carried out so far, has not been able to increase the knowledge and motivation of the community to carry out health protocols and Covid-19 vaccination. Based on the early observations, one community did not wear a face mask when doing activities due to a lack of trust in Covid-19. The results of further interviews with members of a social community found doubts about the Halal status of the current vaccination. Therefore, providing an educational method closer to the community was essential by attending group activities outside, such as Majelis Taklim at the Nurul Huda Mosque, Padang, West Sumatra. The educational method was implemented offline and given a pre-test and post-test to know the value. This activity was carried out on November 4, 2021. The results of the evaluation showed that there was an increase in public knowledge about health protocols and vaccinations in Padang.

Doughnuts are one of the most popular sweet foods for people of all ages around the world. Although made from simple ingredients such as flour, sugar, eggs, yeast, milk powder, salt, water, and margarine, however producing doughnuts requires special techniques to produce good-quality doughnuts. It needs more energy, even physically and electrical equipment. A workshop on doughnut production with autolyze method for Dharma Women Association, Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau, was conducted to increase the knowledge and skills of members of the organization in making healthy dishes for the family. In this workshop, doughnuts were made using the autolysis method, which is mixing bread flour with water and then keeping the dough until gluten was formed. The formation of gluten is one indicator of the formation of smooth, soft, and elastic dough. The workshop results showed high interest among the Dharma Women Association members in making doughnuts with this alternative method.

The cow farmer in Padang was changed from semi-intensive to intensive because of city development. The intensive system requires farmers to be forage feeding cut and carried from field margins. The limited knowledge of smallholder farmers about the high quality of forage causes native grass to become the primary source of forage; meanwhile, the low nutrient content of native grass causes the low production and reproduction in cows. To overcome the adequacy of feed forage, both in quality and quantity, thus cultivation of forage was conducted on unproductive land such as peatlands. Generally, peatland with a shallow category and low pH is widespread on the coast of Padang city. Sorghum is tolerant to acid soil and can be the solution to overcome forage feeding in the dry season. The community service activities were carried out from October 2021 until January 2022 and aimed to increase farmers' knowledge in feed diversification and skills in cultivating sorghum as a superior feed crop. The activities were conducted using counselling and discussion methods and the practice of sorghum cultivation on peatlands. Results showed that cow farmers know the importance of providing quality sustainable forage to increase livestock productivity, especially brood cows. The conclusion is that sorghum can be a substitute for native grass and as a concentrate; hence it can be an alternative solution to the problem of supplying feeding in Padang city.
