This activity aims to increase literacy through political education for novice voter students in using the internet wisely to participate in political life, thereby increasing knowledge about politics. The implementation of this activity was carried out in three stages: the first stage, namely the delivery of material through the lecture method; the second stage, namely training and modelling; and the third stage, namely post-training assistance by forming a politically intelligent community. Community service activities in outreach and training in political education in social media at SMA N 1 Airpura, Pesisir Selatan Regency, have been carried out well. The results of the activity were that this activity was attended by all elements of the school, namely SMA N 1 Airpura students, educators and teachers, school committees and other related elements. At the same time, the target audience for this service was 25 people who live in Airpura. Participants in this activity generally know about practical politics but need to learn how to be wise and intelligent in managing information about political issues on the internet, especially social media. Therefore, this group must continue to be accompanied so that political literacy among first-time voters and the younger generation can be realized in realizing political intelligence in Indonesia.

Indonesians, particularly those residing in rural areas with abundant plant diversity, have long relied on traditional medicine that utilizes plants. Sungkai (Peronema canescens Jack.) is one example of a widely-used traditional medicine known for its immunity-boosting properties. However, many people need more awareness of the potential benefits and risks of plants like Sungkai, so it is necessary to provide education and training to promote proper usage and ensure public safety. This community service activity aimed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to process plants accurately, utilize them appropriately based on the severity of the illness, and avoid any adverse side effects or toxicity. The counselling method used in this initiative involves lectures, which is effective for individuals with varying education levels, especially the general public. This program has yielded promising results, with the community displaying strong enthusiasm for the initiative. Ultimately, education and counselling services can significantly improve public understanding and use of traditional medicine.

The community service took place for the Women Farming Group (WFG) of Banda Langik in the Sungai Bangek, Balai Gadang, Koto Tangah District, Padang City, from July to November 2022. It was held in demonstration plots (dump lots) of Liquid Organic fertilizers (LOF) with coconut coir, and banana stems as raw materials. These raw materials were straightforward to find in this area. Plots were made of 2 beds, and each was planted with pull-out Kale from seeds. Each bed was divided into two parts: without LOF and given LOF. It helped the WFG members differentiate the growth and yield pull-out Kale between being given LOF and without LOF. LOF was made by fermenting coconut coir separately and banana stems in a closed bucket for two weeks. The fermented products were sprinkled on the plants every week, starting at the age of two weeks after planting until they were close to harvest. The results showed that the plants given LOF were higher than those without LOF. The plant has given LOF more leaves. Their length and width of leaves were more significant than those without LOF. LOF is very useful given to vegetable plants, especially pull-out Kale.

Android is a platform for smartphones that can be used anytime and anywhere. Smartphones can be felt in various aspects of human life, especially in education, as a medium of learning material between teachers and students. The development of Android-based applications needs special basic Android programming skills. The Informatics Subject Teacher Consultation of Padang (MGMP) is interested in developing a simple Android-based application but needs direction and guidance to learn Android programming. Therefore, a workshop was needed to develop an Android-based application using AppInventor for simple applications. The workshop provided more steps, essential knowledge, and new experience to be developed by MGMP Team to support duties as teachers.

One of West Sumatra's popular dairy products is Dadih, a traditional food made from buffalo milk and processed by natural fermentation in a bamboo tube. Dadih could be a local food enriched by a natural probiotic source. However, the Dadih is rarely processed into other food products due to a need for more information for farmers and the community. The innovation can be done by using it as an additional ingredient in a product, such as Gelato. Making Gelato has simple steps mixing all the ingredients with the addition of curd. This community engagement activity started with education on the good of Dadih's nutrition, followed by direct assistance in making Gelato, and then counselling groups of farmers in the district of 50 Kota. The activities were conducted on July 24, 2022, and were well responded to by the groups of farmers. Gelato processing that was carried out could produce with Dadih.

Mathematics is one of the most essential basic sciences because it closely relates to everyday life and the development of other disciplines. It should be taught at every education level, likewise for Islamic boarding school students. In addition to having extensive religious knowledge, students must also have increased thinking, logic and reasoning. In addition, mathematics is also an essential tool in studying several topics of Islamic law, such as inheritance law and zakat. Therefore, mathematics must be taught in the education and teaching curriculum at the Islamic boarding school, including the As-'Ashry Islamic Boarding School. One of the obstacles the Al-'Ashry Islamic boarding school faces in teaching mathematics is that students need more interest and motivation in learning mathematics. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out to increase the interest and motivation of students to learn mathematics. The activity was held on December 7, 2022. The activity was carried out in two forms: a motivational lecture and a math puzzle called Magic Square. Based on the evaluation carried out by the community service team, it was evident that the students were interested in the activities carried out. Students were fully involved in every activity carried out.

Agribusiness Anak Nagari (Agrana) is a form of business carried out by students and youth of Nagari Muaro Paiti to increase the productivity of activities, develop skills and apply fishery knowledge to the people of Nagari Muaro Paiti. The problems with current partners were inadequate fish ponds and still using bamboo as support for tarpaulin ponds, low-quality tarpaulin, unstructured pool water circulation, water pumps, and fish feed alternatives still need to be maximized, and weak marketing and post-processing capabilities harvest. Based on interviews with the head of Agrana, catfish breeders wish to develop a more productive catfish-growing business with better management. However, due to the limited skills possessed by breeders, more productive cultivation of catfish enlargement, business management, and post-harvest processing cannot be carried out. Therefore, there needs to be a transfer of technology to breeders so that breeders have various advantages in managing catfish enlargement to process yields more independently. The outputs of this program were 1) Ponds and catfish farming using the bio floc system with a diameter of 2 m: 2) Socialization of understanding of catfish farming using the bio floc system, 3) Assistance in catfish farming with the bio floc system (pond preparation, bacteria management, feed fermentation, water management, sorting catfish, and disease prevention).

People living with schizophrenia in West Sumatra are currently experiencing an increase. In 2018 the prevalence of schizophrenia reached 9 per 1000 households. This prevalence is above the national average. The problem that often occurs in people with schizophrenia (ODS) is relapse. High relapse also occurs in ODS in Padang. It was because of non-compliance with treatment and a lack of support from the family. Inadequate support is the impact of the low resilience of the ODS family. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to increase the ability of nurses to empower families to increase family resilience so that ODS relapse is low. The method used in this community service is the provision of training. The training was given to 14 nurses holding mental programs at the Padang City Health Centers. The training was carried out for three days at the Faculty of Nursing Unand Padang. Community service resulted in nurses' knowledge in empowering ODS families before training was an average of 50.75, and nurses' knowledge after training was an average of 62.78, increasing by 12.03 points. It hopes that nurses could empower ODS families through home visits so that every ODS family member has the knowledge and ability to care for ODS so that family resilience increases and relapse can prevent.

Numerical literacy is an ability that requires an understanding of basic mathematical concepts and skills. Private Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPS IT) "Karakter Anak Shalih" (KAS) has not implemented the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) of the 2022/2023 school year, which will be held in 2023. The preparations for MCA implementation should be started in 2022. One of the problems schools encounter is how to prepare the students to conceive numeracy literacy for MCA. The Community Service Activities (CSA) of the Department of Mathematics and Data Science of Universitas Andalas aims to accompany teachers and students to increase students' understanding of basic concepts and skills in mathematics, providing socialization and assistance to teachers and students regarding numeracy literacy knowledge, and supporting schools to improve learning process services. Those activities were carried out in three main stages, namely, the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the activity evaluation stage. The results of this CSA activity were evaluated by observing the students' understanding of mathematical concepts, numeracy literacy, and improving services that support the learning process. Based on the CSA activities, it was concluded that mentoring activities must be continued to assist schools in dealing with MCA.
