Breast self-examination (BSE) is a breast examination carried out by the woman herself every month regularly. BSE as a step for early detection of breast cancer is highly recommended for women, especially those aged 40 years and over, because the higher the age, the greater the risk of developing breast cancer. This activity aimed to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes and carry out health promotion about BSE to the pilgrim women of the Baitul Chair Mosque, Teluk Bayur, Padang. 11 women of the society attended this activity. The level of knowledge and attitudes regarding BSE was assessed using a simple questionnaire consisting of five questions regarding knowledge and attitudes, respectively. The survey resulted in no history of breast cancer or family history of breast cancer; as many as 81.8% of mothers had never received information about BSE before. The level of knowledge showed that 63.6% of mothers have good knowledge and a good attitude about BSE, 55.5%. Health behaviour, knowledge and attitudes must be improved, including health promotion. Health promotion as one of the driving factors can increase the knowledge and attitudes that will manifest in BSE actions for early detection of breast cancer.

The planning for the development of a mathematics learning module for residents studying package C based on the open-source platform Scilab at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Karang Putih is one of the solutions to address the lack of facilities, especially open-source learning media. The activity plan started with discussions and information sharing. In this stage, discussions and experiences were shared regarding the Scilab-based mathematics learning module for package C learners. The second activity is the analysis of the module's needs. Based on the discussion's outcomes, decisions will be made about the type of module to be created, the required features, potential challenges, necessary resources for the development process, and so on. The third activity is the design of the learning module. During this phase, the interface and layout of the open-source Scilab-based mathematics learning module are designed. The final activity is the development of the learning module. This stage involves implementing the outcomes of the analysis and design of the mathematics learning module. It also includes testing to ensure that all functions work as intended. By following this planned process, the development of the mathematics learning module for package C learners using Scilab will be expected to provide a valuable open-source learning resource at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Karang Putih.

The community engagement team of the Animal Science Faculty of Andalas University conducted community services in the Animal Feed Ration Business group in Jorong Batang Sarik, Nagari Katapiang, Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency. The problems in the target group were 1) the business group still needs to get a permit to do business, and 2) it still needs to gain skills in processing feed for cattle based on agricultural waste. The activity aimed to assist business groups in obtaining Business Permit Numbers (BPN) and transferring agricultural waste-based feed technology for beef cattle. The transfer of knowledge and technology in service activities was carried out by mentoring, demonstration, and training methods regularly and continuously. The action resulted that the target group having a business permit in the form of BPN and the business group having knowledge and skills in producing feed for beef cattle in the form of Complete Ration Silage (CRS) based on corn straw.

One of the things that can be done to increase production in Galo-Galo beekeeping is to plant flowering vegetation around the cultivation location. Some flower plants that are good for planting are Mexican Creeper, Xanthostemon, and Calliandra. These three plants can attract Galo-Galo honey bees to increase honey production. They will be able to improve the farmer's economy in Sungkai, Lambung Bukik Village, and Pauh Padang District. This community service activity aimed to provide understanding and flowering plant seeds to increase the production of Galo-Galo bee honey. The method used was counselling and practice. Planting flower vegetation was carried out in practice directly at the farm location. The activity resulted in 1) Increased partners' knowledge, interest, and skills in breeding Galo-Galo integrated with flowering vegetation. 2) Partners know and can increase the productivity of Galo-Galo bee honey. The activity ran smoothly, and the activity target was appropriately achieved. Farmers participating in the service have been able to cultivate stingless bees and optimize production by planting flowering vegetation.

The cash flow statement provides relevant information regarding cash receipts and payments of a company in one period. The information presented on it assists the company in making decisions on using available cash. It serves as the basis for evaluating the performance of receiving and cash disbursement in a period. Decision errors can result in several circumstances, such as debt accumulation, jammed cash inflows, uncollectible customer receivables, and BUMDes' failure to pay for daily operational needs. BUMDes Bintang Muda Mandiri is one of the best BUMDes from the Deepening Program of Bank BRI Brilian Village, a village incubation program organized by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. in 2022. BUMDes Bintang Muda Mandiri has also reported profits in the last three years, which reflects the potential for future growth. This community service activity provided training in preparing a Statement of Cash Flow using Excel worksheets prepared by the Andalas University Community Service Team. The method used in this activity was the delivery of material and training. The benefit of this activity was the realization of independent BUMdes human resources who can prepare the cash flow statement and analyze it as a financial report for decision-making.

Stunting or stunted children is a disorder of growth and development due to chronic malnutrition and repeated infections, characterized by their height being below the standards of the Ministry of Health. The stunting rate in Mata Air Village, South Padang District, is also reasonably high. Based on data obtained in October 2022, the number of stunting cases in Mata Air Village is 64 children. It was due to the lack of knowledge of pregnant women about stunting and the low economy of the community in the village. This activity aimed to practical the Interpersonal Communication approach in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women about stunting. The methods used were group discussion and Emotional Demonstration (Emo-Demo) with the application of Interpersonal Communication. The results showed an increase in knowledge from pregnant women. This community service activity was carried out by designing a cabinet for finished products and handing over the cabinet to a small and medium industry producing various types of crackers, namely IKM Kerupuk Azizah. IKM Kerupuk Azizah used open shelves to store packaged finished products. This practice was unhygienic and risky. Animals like rats and insects ate and damaged the materials and products. In addition, the warehouse needed to look more tidy. Moreover, from an aesthetic point of view, it was unattractive. A storage cabinet was designed to solve this problem. In designing the cabinet, available space, the number of piles of finished products, and the dimensions of the packaged finished products were considered. The results showed that, with a storage cabinet for finished products, IKM Kerupuk Azizah improved products’ quality and hygiene so that consumers would have more confidence in purchasing the products. In addition, IKM Kerupuk Azizah also applied the Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke (5S) principles in their work environment to create a clean, healthy, and comfortable workplace.

From 10–19, adolescence is a transition from childhood to adulthood. There will be changes in the shape and function of the body in a reasonably short time. Sufficient and adequate nutrition for adolescents is one factor affecting their reproductive health. This community service aimed to monitor nutritional status and detect early signs of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). Monitoring of nutritional status is carried out for adolescents, especially young women. Physical health and healthy reproductive organs are essential in preparation for becoming healthy expectant mothers who can later give birth to a healthy generation. Holistic health education was needed in adolescents' growth to become better human beings in terms of their health. This activity was carried out in May 2023 at Junior High School, YPI Ciparay, and Bandung Regency. The target audience was young girls in 7th grade; there were 82 people. At the time, the students filled out questionnaires about their characteristics. Then the team measured the anthropometrics to determine the nutritional status and the incidence of CED by weighing, measuring height, and measuring upper arm circumference. The measurements showed that the nutritional status based on body mass index for most female students was standard, about 60.97%, and 41.46% of female students were CED. Counselling and health information were also provided holistically to increase the girls' understanding of their health status.
