Developmental, emotional, social and behavioral disorders of children and adolescents are a worldwide problem. Many of them can be avoided by undertaking a therapeutic and personal development intervention aimed at helping children overcome their problems. Children are able to solve some of them on their own, with the participation of adults including relatives. Finding a solution and its effective implementation results in better functioning of children in the social context and in assuming responsibly the roles assigned to them. It is also an investment in the future of children, because the solved difficulties will not be baggage in adulthood. Experience points out to the effectiveness of the Finnish Kids’Skills method in solving children's problems. It consists in learning new skills, the lack of which can be the cause of the children’s malfunction and of behavior that is inconsistent with the expectations of the people around them.

The deviant behavior of students is a cause of concern for our society. Media sources signal daily the omnipresence of this social problem that must be researched from several perspectives. The way the student behaves is a reflection of his inner self. The inner balance determines the outer balance in relationships with others, in approaching problems, in the way of life. It is very important to understand the reasons, the causes that condition deviant behavior. Most often it is formed during the formation of the personality, as a result of a defective education, educational deficiencies, lack of trust and respect between the educator and the educated. That is why in order to understand the causes that determine deviant behavior in students, it is necessary to analyze the internal structure of the person, to take into account his needs, his life experience, the attitude he has about himself and others, his beliefs. Students who do not accept themselves unconditionally often have a distorted view of themselves, thus ending up living an illusion and exhibiting deviant behavior. Success in overcoming this problem is conditioned by the way the individual thinks about himself and the world around him, his attitudes towards life in general, his self-image and unconditional self-acceptance of his own person because this is a first step towards change.

Nowadays, machine translation is considered to be a frequently used tool to render various types of texts related to such different spheres as science, film industry, etc. Statement of the problem: currently, as the higher school system in Kazakhstan starts its’ integration process into world education (Kolomejceva & Makeeva, 2004), together with the re-structuring of the system itself it is a priority to translate course books and manuals from English into Kazakh and Russian and to adapt them for Kazakhstani students. A significant amount of information to be translated and the need to do it at the short notice might cause the use of machine translation tools to speed the translation process up. To clarify advantages and disadvantages of machine translation (especially for manuals and course books), the author applied such methodology as comparative analysis of the source text and its’ translated version. As a result, it is possible to state that machine translation tools are not able to replace the human translation of such complicated texts; moreover, the need of meticulous proofreading of target text is obvious as well as the urgent necessity of translation quality improvement. On the other hand, all the errors which have been observed in the target text, should be specified, categorized, and used in teaching scientific text translation to make it better. The exercises based on comparative analysis and target text proofreading can be considered as an effective tool for translators’ skills development. The author had chosen the course book Natural Gas Processing from Midstream to Downstream by Elbashir et al. (2019) and its Russian version as a research material for pre-translation and comparative analysis and then for the target text proofreading. So the main goals of the given research consisted in (1) finding out the inappropriate cases of translation; (2) explaining the type of error and (3) preparing the exercises to prevent making such mistakes by our students in Translation Studies and, generally, to improve pre-service translators’ competencies.

Educational institutions play a major role in meeting social needs and expectations. Particularly, the Community Service Practices (CSP) course within universities offers students the opportunity to engage in social activities with the community, to gain awareness of social responsibility, and to get to know the community from different perspectives. For this reason, this research was carried out to determine the opinions of the Faculty of Sport Sciences students who took the 'Community Service Practices' course before taking it and their gains after the course. A total of 53 students who were studying at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Faculty of Sports Sciences and taking Community Service Practices course participated in the research. The research was applied in two parts as before and after the application. Before the application, the students were asked about their expectations about the CPS course in the form of open-ended questions and their answers were requested in writing. At the end of the application process, 14 people were determined to participate in the interview voluntarily, and focus group interviews were held with semi -structured questions. The questions directed to the students were recorded using the note-taking technique. The data obtained from the students' opinions were coded independently by two researchers by making descriptive and content analysis. As a result of the research, it is observed that the students show positive progress in terms of social awareness, social responsibility, communication, professional experience and cooperation with the CPS course in the university programs.

Nowadays, there are a huge number of applications that help to learn foreign languages in HEIs. The article gives a concept of chatbots, their application scenarios for the development of speaking skills of HEI students learning English; defines the role of chatbots in acquiring language practice; analyzes today's chatbots for learning foreign languages; investigates the functions of chatbots for modeling language behavior. Despite their imperfect intelligence, large companies (e.g., Apple, Google, and Amazon) have already placed chatbots in the center of their flagship devices. Chatbots are now filling the Internet, acting as guides, salespersons, and assistants. However, chatbots designed as communicators have yet to make a meaningful contribution. Perhaps the most natural vocation is to be a partner in learning foreign languages. In this article, we'll look at some of the chatbots developers are offering to help you learn foreign languages. Now chatbots can radically change interacting with the digital world, from reading and writing to listening and speaking. Although this reality has been possible for more than a decade, there is little direct evidence that the golden age of spoken-agent language learning opportunities has arrived.

The present research aims to argue the need to train adults involved in the adoption process, so that each of the actors involved in this process to achieve optimal success - applicants for adoption to become parents, the child / children to find their permanent family, and specialists to follow the stages the adoption and post-adoption process as efficiently as possible. Adoption, although it has all the peculiarities of a classical family, is rather a transitional institution that creates a family different from the traditional biological family, serving a dual purpose, that of first offering a home to a child and then offering parents a child. The complexity of this process makes some applicants for adoption either delay the submission of an application for adoption or give up during the process facing a tumult of rules that become contradictory and create difficulties for them. Between 2018-2021, research was conducted that included 120 candidates for adoption, who were trained according to a new curriculum, and as research methods were used semi-structured interview and psychological training. As result were strengthened the parenting knowledge and skills of least 120 adoptive parents (60 couples) for 18 months and as a consequence was updated the training curriculum for potential national adopters to increase the success of adoption.
