The results of previous studies show that biological science learning for elementary school students is in the sufficient category. This is because teachers do not familiarize students with being trained in high-level thinking in the form of life skills, namely metacognitive awareness. Therefore, effective strategies are needed to increase students' metacognitive awareness. One model that can increase students' metacognitive awareness is the problem-based learning (PBL) model with the homogeneity psychocognition (HPC) strategy. The aim of the research is to analyze differences in elementary school students' metacognitive awareness in learning biological science using the PBL model, PBL with HPC strategies, and conventional models. This research used a quasi experiment with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The number of samples participating in the research was 155 students where sampling was carried out randomly. The instrument used was the metacognitive awareness inventory which was adapted from the Junior Metacognitive Inventory (Jr. MAI) by Sperling et al (2002). The inventory consists of 18 questions with 9 items each on the aspects of knowledge of cognition and regulation of cognition. The research results found that there were significant differences in metacognitive awareness in the PBL learning model, PBL with HPC strategies compared to conventional learning. This research recommends that teachers can optimize PBL, as well as PBL with HPC strategies in increasing students' metacognitive awareness.

The purpose of this study was to develop a physics learning media Moodle-based with a scientific approach to static fluid that is feasible to use in the learning process. Previous research found that the media developed did not contain simulations which are very necessary in learning physics. Therefore, it is necessary to develop media that supports simulating physics practicums, especially in static fluids, and interactive. This study used the research and development (RnD) method, with the model ADDIE. However, because the goal was only to get the feasibility of the media, the steps were limited to three stages, which were Analyze, Design, and Development. This media is equipped with simulations using PhET and another Virtual Laboratory which can be accessed online through belajarsains-uns.com. The result is that the physics learning media Moodle-based on static fluids was successfully developed with very good criteria based on the assessments from expert validators, peer reviewers, and reviewers around 1364 of 1476. Meanwhile, during trials, some errors are found in the spelling of sentences. After revising, an increased score of the pre-test and post-test showed that learning media was effectively used and the questionnaire result met very good criteria, 5728 of 6840

Carrying out learning in the laboratory in the form of a practicum is one of the science learning techniques that can establish the circumstances for accomplishing the results of science scientific concepts and components of science science processes. The objectives of this study are to: ascertain the state of the science laboratory in high school. The others objectives area to ascertain the implementation of science practicum activities in the and to ascertain the challenges encountered and solutions for resolving these challenges in high school. This study came to a few conclusions: the management of science laboratories in high schools is not good because there are still many activities in the planning program that have not been carried out in accordance with the plan. Planning, which includes the preparation of a work program, is planned one month before the start of the school year and made at the start of the school year, Organization, which includes organizational structure and administration, has not been implemented properly, such as there being no updates to the laboratory organizational structure, which means that students also do not know who is managing the laboratory, Implementation of practicum activities is rarely carried out in the laboratory due to limited tools and materials, Supervision and evaluation, namely by supervising internal schools and having supervisors come from the government, Factors that contribute to the management of this laboratory are laboratory assistants, students, time, and limited equipment and materials.
