This article aims to present the successful case of innovation in services promoted by the Project: SENAI Design Futures, an international project, developed by Consorzio Del Politecnico di Milano (POLI.Design), from Milan, Italy and the National Service for Vocational Training (SENAI), in Brazil. It is based on the assumption that international technology transfer has a positive impact on the innovation process. Considering there is still room for more studies describing the relationship between innovation in services and internationalization, this article intends to link the theoretical approaches from both areas, using a case study as evidence. The conclusions show that this approach can be beneficial for institutions to promote innovation in services.

The main objective of this case is to discuss the internal processes of banks that act as foreign exchange dealers for the Brazilian Central Bank, especially the advantages versus the costs associated with such activity. Within this context, a currency trader discusses this issue with his superiors, highlighting not only the role of accredited institutions in the adopted monetary policy, but also the conflicts of interest involved, which allows a connection between the dilemma described in the case and aspects of Behavioral Finance and Agency Cost Theory. It is recommended that the case be given to undergraduate and graduate students who already have a basic knowledge of financial markets and are willing to deepen their knowledge about the exchange market. The suggested courses to apply this case study are capital markets and financial markets.

The paper deals with an issue of the impact of a contract form choice on providing public transport services and its influence on a scope of transport services. The first part of the paper describes the current situation in selected countries and then various contract forms. It also analyses the existing risks and possibilities for their allocation between the contracting parties in the field of public transport provision. Further part of the paper describes an approach of public service operators to net cost contracts and gross costs contracts.
