This case suggests that attention should be paid to the effect of physical exercise on the time of occurrence of cardiovascular events. Exercise is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, acute exercise may be the direct cause of thrombotic events; on the other hand, exercise training can reduce the potential risk of cardiovascular events. This case suggests that appropriate studies are needed to determine the effects of long-term and short-term exercise, exercise time and exercise intensity on platelet aggregation and activity, thereby reducing the occurrence of cardiovascular events. For people with a high cardiovascular risk or those who exercise infrequently, they are advised to start exercise at low to moderate intensity to reduce the risk of thrombosis.

Under the teaching goal of "Golden Course" proposed by the Ministry of Education, student-centered online and offline blended teaching has become a new hot topic. Combining online and offline teaching and applying it to the teaching practice of histology and embryology, this study takes the offline course as the main line supplemented by online pre-review and review, group discussion, flipped classroom and other forms of learning.. This paper takes class 3 students of 2018 and 2019 eight-year clinical medicine as the research subjects, evaluates the teaching effect through the data analysis of experimental results, final evaluation results and teaching feedback survey, and applies SPSS20.0 software to statistically analyze the students' grades. The results have shown that the students' experimental scores and final evaluation scores in the online and offline hybrid teaching group are better than those in the traditional offline teaching group, although the differences are not significant (P> 0.05), and the student participation is also higher. It shows that the online and offline blended teaching mode is better than the traditional teaching mode, which can improve the teaching quality of histology and embryology, promote the interaction between teachers and students, and improve teaching and learning.

Traditional Chinese medicine fasting therapy is a new, safe and effective clinical therapy. Because it can reduce weight and insulin resistance and alleviate diabetes symptoms, it can be used to treat type 2 diabetes with obesity, metabolic syndrome and other diseases. To promote people's understanding of traditional Chinese medicine fasting therapy, this case report reports the treatment process of a patient with type 2 diabetes who underwent traditional Chinese medicine fasting therapy, and discusses the efficacy and some adverse reactions.

Fasting therapy of Chinese Medicine was put forward by Professor Qin Jian based on the theory of fat and grease from The Yellow Emperors Internal Classi and modified on the basis of Buchinger fasting therapy. Here we try to report a female patient with the chief complaint of arthralgia who was diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and suspected type 2 diabetes mellitus, also diagnosed by Chinese medicine with Bi disease of spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness syndrome. After admission, the patient was treated with fasting therapy of Chinese Medicine for a week. Considering that she was in the menstrual period, she was given a very-low-calorie diet during that time. Moreover, she was given L-carnitine injection, health education and traditional Chinese medicine treatment, including foot massage, acupuncture and acupoint application everyday. After discharge, she was asked to take low-calorie diet and modified Linggui Zhugan Decoction for another week. After that, she followed the doctor's instructions for long-term caloric control. A year later, the reexamination showed that her condition was improving.

In 2022, we treat 2 children with hydronephrosis and pyonephrosis, 1 with primary ureteropelvic junction obstruction and 1 with recurrent obstruction after laparoscopic pyeloplasty. All children have purulent pyelonephritis and urinary abdomen. After comprehensive anti-infection+abdominal drainage +renal pelvis drainage, the infection was significantly improved, and they were cured and discharged after pyeloplasty under general anesthesia. Conclusion: UPJO complicated with pyonephrosis in children is rare, and the most important treatment principle for hydronephrosis complicated with pyonephrosis is adequate drainage. Comprehensive anti-infection + open drainage infection treatment and control followed by conventional pyeloplasty can cure as soon as possible and return to normal life.It has the advantages of good safety effect and easy promotion.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the value of lactate/albumin ratio in prediction of mortality in intensive care unit (ICU) patients with post-operative intestinal obstruction. Method: A retrospective analysis was conducted with patient data from the eICU Collaborative Research Database (eICU-CRD). According to the outcome, the patients with post-operative intestinal obstruction who were admitted to ICU within 24 hours after surgery were separated into two groups: survivors (233 cases) and non-survivors (35 cases). Their clinical characteristics and scoring data were collected. Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the risk factors for death, and these risk factors were further included for the construction of the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) to evaluate the predictive value of death for these patients. Results: In-hospital mortality for patients admitted to ICU with post-operative intestinal obstruction was 13.1% (35/268). The level of lactate/albumin ratio was significantly higher in non-survivors than in survivors (1.36±1.54 versus 0.70±0.64; P<0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that the lactate/albumin ratio (OR=0.667, 95%CI: 1.328-2.485, P=0.001) could predict in-hospital mortality independently for the patients in ICU with post-operative intestinal obstruction. Further analysis showed that the area under the ROC curve (AUC) value of lactate/albumin ratio level was 0.681. Conclusions: These data suggested that the lactate/albumin ratio has potential predictive value for mortality in ICU patients with post-operative intestinal obstruction.

Background: The Modified Functional Reach Test (mFRT) is the tool to measure dynamic sitting balance, forward and lateral directions, developed for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). In spite of being dynamic in nature, mFRT has not been studied for its ability to predict transfer domain of International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). Hence, the purpose of this study is to investigate the association between mFRT and sitting transfer domain of ICF. Methodology: Volitional effort of 10 patients with SCI was measured in centimeters with the help of mFRT by reaching in forward and lateral direction in sitting. Patients’ ability to transfer oneself (d472) domain of ICF was evaluated using standard scoring format in terms of Capacity and Performance. Results: Data was analysed using Kendalls coefficient of concordance. A strong negative correlation (τb= -0.81, p<0.05) was found between forward reach and transfer domain of ICF and moderate correlation (τb= -0.71, p<0.05) was observed between Lateral reach test with Transfer oneself Domain. Conclusion: Strength of correlation indicates that patients are able to carryover the clinical effect of training into functional activities. However, considering the frequent use of lateral transfer during ADLs calls for stronger correlation and hence more focused training during rehabilitation.

Multiple Lentigines syndrome is an autosomal dominant inherited disorder of variable expressivity also known by the acronym LEOPARD syndrome. A rare disease with multiple congenital anomalies, mainly characterized by skin, facial and cardiac anomalies. Other malformations can be encountered, in particular cerebral and dysmorphic. We report the case of a 40-year-old female patient known for a Leopard syndrome, who in the context of bilateral hypoacusis, the cerebral MRI carried out finds a lesion in flair hypersignal at the asymptomatic left occipital level, we do not note any evolution of this lesion after 10 years this could correspond to "unidentified shiny object: OFU". In conclusion, LEOPARD syndrome is a disease with a multi-systemic involvement, the discovery of a lesion corresponding to an OFU" is possible.
