: Theater and psychoanalysis are knowledge fields that get along with each other. In this sense, the work of the playwright Nelson Rodrigues stands out. Nelson’s plays brought to the scene intimate, psychological and unconscious aspects of the characters. This work aims to propose a psychoanalytic interpretation for the play “Senhora dos afogados”, focusing the expression of the Oedipus complex in the play. To do so, a theoretical and bibliographic research of Freudian literature and its commentators on the Oedipus complex was carried out. Additionally, the characteristics of Rodrigues’ work that indicate its subversion in the theatrical setting in which it was situated were also pointed out. The analysis of the play was carried out through a reading-listening of the text, highlighting the associative links present in it.As results, it was possible notice aspects such as Moema’s relationship with her father and mother and its connection with the

: We cut as an object of analysis the case of Genivaldo de Jesus Santos, tortured and murdered by federal road policemen (PRF) on May 25, 2022 in Umbaúba, Sergipe, cutting the text of police occurrence written by the police officers involved in the event, in which effects of defense of these agents resonate. We anchor ourselves on the theoretical assumptions of Pecheutian Discourse Analysis (AD), considering not the content of discursive materiality, but the way in which effects of meaning are constituted. The question we seek to answer is: how, in this discourse, violence is reproduced and legitimized as a State policy regarding the poor, black and peripheral population.

: The aim of this work is to reflect on the aspect of terror, in this case the slasher, and consumption presented in the new version of the film (Child’s play) of 2019. To this end, a brief introduction is presented on the relationship between human beings and the toys. During the work, the relationships between work, production and consumption were analyzed with the proposal of how these factors interact in everyday life. Another point to be highlighted are the means of production, artifacts that are developed in subaltern countries, where producers do not have the economic resources to consume them, but are exported to meet the needs of capitalism, mainly in the United States, where plot. As a theoretical reference, it is based on Bocock (1993) and Marx (2013).
