Tuberculosis is a disease whose control is one of the global commitments in the Sustainable Development Goals. The tuberculosis cure rate in Padang City is 50.5%, which is far from the national target (85%). This low cure rate is caused by several factors. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the recovery of TB patients at the Padang City Health Center. This study is a quantitative study, with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study were pulmonary TB patients at the Padang City Health Center, as many as 67 people selected by systematic random sampling. The results showed 53.7% of respondents had high education, 77.6% had high knowledge, 64.2% had low social status, 71.6% had affordable access, and 73.1% had good family support. There was a relationship between family support (p=0.002) and pulmonary TB cure. There was no relationship between education level (p=0.956), knowledge (p=0.774), social status (p=0.098), access to services (0.328) with pulmonary TB cure. Family support variable was the most influential variable on patient recovery (p=0.004). The results showed that patients who received family support had a chance to recover by 6 times compared to patients who did not receive family support after controlling for socioeconomic variables, attitudes, and treatment compliance. TB program holders need to improve socialization and education of patients and their families who play a role in supervising and providing support to patients. This study aims to determine the effect of work-life balance on the subjective well-being of women who work in PTPNII. The subjects of this study were 79 women who worked in PTPN II. The approach used in this research is quantitative. The data were collected Using work-life balance scale and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SwLS) as measuring instruments and were analyzed statistically using a simple regression analysis. The results of statistical analysis show that simultaneously, work-life balance has a significant positive effect on subjective well-being. The determinant coefficient (R square) shows a value of 0.068 meaning that subjective well-being is influenced by work-life balance of 6.8%. Working conditions and work environment that require individuals to continue to be productive, as well as working time pressuresare challenges for individuals that have an effect on subjective well-being. This research may provide information for policymakers in implementing better human resource policies, such as enhancing employees’ psychological well-being by balancing the intensity of task difficulty with adequate working time and staffing level. The lack of students' writing skills and limited learning facilities and media further worsen the writing quality of students in elementary school (SD). Explanatory text is text that informs the process of something occurring, whether natural or social phenomena. At the stage of understanding and writing the text, students find it difficult due to the lack of information and knowledge possessed by the students and the teacher as facilitator. Model problem based learning is a learning model that uses real problems in its learning so that it can train students to develop problem-solving skills. This model can trigger students' thinking methods in presenting information in an explanatory text that is in accordance with the structure of the explanatory text. Based on the analysis of the advantages of diorama media, it can be concluded that students' ability to write explanatory texts increases in accordance with the concept of diorama media, which is a mini three-dimensional view that aims to depict the actual scene. This is because in this model students are required to work together in groups regarding dioramas that have been observed, so that students have a lot of material and information to write explanatory texts so that learning becomes different and fun. Amidst the pandemic, the surge in unsolicited scam emails has made internet technology a significant concern. Distinguishing between scams and authentic/legit emails has become increasingly difficult. This research aimed to identify typical characteristics and language patterns found in emails. It also aimed to identify the common linguistics and technical features of the scams and legitimate bank emails. Two legitimate emails and two scam or fraudulent emails from different banks in the Philippines (i.e., LandBank and BDO). A qualitative method was used to analyze and interpret the language features of the two emails. This led to the identification of shared characteristics found in scams and legitimate emails. A scam email typically includes embedded malicious links, misspellings, formatting issues, suspicious email domains, frequent use of contractions and redundancy, tautology, and imperative mood. On the other hand, legitimate emails exhibit proper punctuation, accurate email domains, appropriate formatting, absence of spelling mistakes, avoidance of contractions and redundancy, and use indicative mood rather than imperative. Scam emails utilize modal verbs to manipulate recipients into divulging personal information. Recognizing these email patterns is crucial for educating users and reducing phishing risks. It is important to note that the interpretation and findings of this study are based on the entire dataset collected. Keywords: Bank Emails, Legit Emails, Linguistic Features, Scam Emails, Phishing

Pollution of the aquatic environment with organic contaminants has become a world problem because they are indestructible and most of them have toxic effects on man and organism. This study covers the determination of organic contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs) oil and grease (O and G) in surface water around tank farms in Oghareki community, Delta State. The samples were collected for a period of twelve months (April 2022 – March 2023) at distances of 100 meters to 1 kilometer away from the tank farms. After sampling, samples were transported to the laboratory for chemical analyses. Each of the samples were tested for the presence of VOCs and TPHs by the use of Gas Chromatography coupled with Flame Ionization Detector (GC/FID) and O and G by Uv / visible spectrophotometer. Data were presented as mean triplicate of analyses and results of organic contaminants in water analyses showed mean O and G in the ranged of 0.002 – 0.006 and 0.004 – 0.007mg/L; mean TPHs in the range of 1.607 – 8.132 and 3.319 – 4.835mg/L, and mean VOCs in the range from 0.014 – 0.409 and 0.122 – 0.354mg/L for months and distances of investigations respective. Observations showed that the surface water around the tank farms are contaminated at some points and polluted at some other points when results of the study locations compared with that of the control. Results of monthly analyses were higher during the dry season than wet season. The contamination / pollution of the environment was attributed to nature of activities around the tank farms. It was therefore recommended that individuals should consider the consequences of their actions and work to improve the quality of soil and water Keywords: Volatile organic compounds, total petroleum hydrocarbons, oil and grease, pollution, contamination, and environment.
