In recent years, with the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology (SAS,2023), the journalism industry has gradually produced a new mode of operation which, coinciding with the Covid-19 period (WHO,2020), has led to the explosive growth of the online news industry. People are beginning to popularize and follow up their attention to online news. In particular, the category of news media with the background qualities of integrated media is gradually entering into the public's view and becoming an important part of people's lives. On current social media platforms, the constructs of online news consumption and curation have rapidly evolved to become an important part of journalism. This development has to some extent contributed to the progress and reform of ‘online news' in the context of integrated media in the age of AI. In contrast, there are also potential online news consumers and curators in the journalism industry who are exhibiting new characteristics and working modes in line with the AI era.

With the rapid development of the economy, nowadays we no longer suffer and worry about "not covering the body and not having enough to eat", we begin to pursue spiritual resonance and aesthetic synchronization: more and more people are interested in traditional culture, more and more national fashion brands emerge, and more and more traditional skills are exposed, loved and inherited. However, under the background of "promoting excellent traditional culture and strengthening national cultural self-confidence", there are still many traditional arts that have encountered difficulties. This article takes intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting as an example to summarize the influencing factors in development and inheritance, innovatively seek to explore a new path, let it inject fresh blood, and keep innovation.

In the context of English as an international lingua franca, people's cross-cultural communication is obviously enhanced. In the process of cross-cultural communication, people with different cultural backgrounds ways of thinking, and cultural language habits use their own native culture to guess the behavioral habits of people who are different from their own culture. When negative cultural transfer occurs, it will cause the interlocutor to make a linguistic error in the communication. This affects the smoothness of intercultural communication. The rational use of English in cross-cultural communication situations has always been a major challenge for Chinese English learners. There are many domestic studies on the analysis of English language use from the perspective of negative cultural transfer based on second language acquisition, but not enough attention has been paid to the study of junior high school students English language use errors from the perspective of cultural transfer. The emphasis on pragmatic failure from the time students have the appropriate cultural awareness will help them improve their linguistic skills, reduce the phenomenon of Pragmatic failures, and improve their communication skills in intercultural. Therefore, this paper investigates the reasons for the emergence of junior high school students' pragmatic failures from the perspective of cultural transfer and draws teachers' attention to the development of students' pragmatic competence so that students can effectively avoid pragmatic failure in cross-cultural communication.

The COVID-19 pandemic profoundly altered the total and pattern of electricity consumption across Chinese industries and households. However, current research has not fully and accurately measured the impact of the pandemic. This paper builds a novel discrete gray seasonal model (referred to as the FDDGSM model) to predict the scenario of different domestic electricity-consuming sectors and residential electricity consumption without a pandemic backdrop, by comparing it with the actual electricity consumption in 2020, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on China's electricity consumption is better revealed. Through empirical analysis, the following conclusions are reached in this study: (1) The novel discrete grey season model shows more stable and accurate characteristics in forecasting time series with seasonal trends. (2) The pandemic did not significantly impact electricity consumption in primary industries and households, while actual usage in secondary and tertiary industries was significantly lower than expected in a non-pandemic scenario. (3) The impact on secondary and tertiary industries varied in magnitude and duration, and they differed in the rate of recovery in electricity consumption.
