The article analyzes the aspects and problems of the influence of social networks on the development of politi-cal communications in the new digital reality. The concept of social networks is introduced, aspects of their im-pact on political communications and processes are characterized. Separately, the possibilities of the positive influence of social networks on the development of political communications in the new digital reality are re-vealed, and new threats and risks are also examined. Considering the factor of Russia’s involvement in a hy-brid, including informational, war with the collective West, a typology of social networks is proposed, including the criteria for blocking and possible reserves of popularity of political communications. The influence of differ-ent types of social networks and the factor of their blocking on the features and risks of political communica-tions is revealed, the specifics of communication activity in social networks with increasing and decreasing popularity are analysed. The mechanisms of political communications in the most preferred social networks for this are shown – VKontakte and Telegram. The necessity of activation of political communications aimed at young audience in TikTok, as well as on the basis of serious longreads on the platform “Zen” is argued. The relevance of the research topic is due to the search for a scientifically sound strategy for Russia’s political positioning in the international space. The article presents the authors’ attempt to justify the con- ceptual behavior of the country in modern international relations based on the analysis of theories of the post- industrial period. The aim of the study is to search for concepts and scientific theories that can serve as a method- ological basis for designing the political behavior of a particular country or exert an effective regulatory impact on a variety of subjects of international relations. The research methods are abstract modeling of the situation and fore- casting, qualitative content analysis of modern theories, which allows to identify the conceptual aspects of the be- havior of political actors in modern international relations. The aim of this article is to investigate the genesis and dynamics of ethno-political conflict in the Republic of Sudan focusing on three main regions: the South, the West, and the East. The study uses various scientific methods such as historical, descriptive, and cognitive approach to analyse the dynamics of ethno-political con-flict in Sudan through identifying the key elements of identity in different societies. Understanding the specificity of local conditions, motives of the conflicting parties’ actions and decision-making on conflict resolution in Su-dan, identifying common causes of ethno-political conflict in South, West and East Sudan, and developing rec-ommendations for conflict resolution in Sudan. The findings of the study highlight the politicisation of religious and ethnic factors as well as fomentation of divisions as one of the major causes of worsening conflicts in the said regions. In addition, the study revealed that conflicts in Sudan have deep historical roots and are driven by complex socio-economic and political factors.

This article examines the peculiarities of the formation of Russian statehood in the Far East in several direc-tions. First, it is important to study the ideological features of the development of the Russian state to the east and identify the main causes of this phenomenon. Secondly, it was expedient to outline the key territorial ap-proaches to the expansion of Russia and identify the main stages of settlement of the Far Eastern region. Third-ly, the author concludes that a significant role was played by the formation of political centralization of power in remote regions of the country. In addition, the factors determining the uniqueness of the development of state-hood in the Far East and its connection with national processes are analyzed. Thus, the work deepens the knowledge about the characteristic features of the development of new territories, taking into account ideologi-cal and political factors.

The article represents the results of the second part of the research devoted to the development of an original model of democracy – existential democracy. The author hinges primarily on offering and analyzing original theoretical and philosophical principles and practical political proposals necessary for the realization of existen-tial democracy in life. In all 17 main provisions are given. Philosophical principles include placing the subject, the personality, and not the structure, at the center of society and politics, and also the creative action of each personality, aimed mutually at their own good and the Common good. And also – recognition of the importance of each human, regardless of his social status, economic position, and the equality of all people among each other in existential democracy. Concrete practical proposals are also made – democratization of society, free and creative formation of new social and state institutions, development of humanisticoriented education and protection of human dignity at work, constructing dialogical, equal communication in society and maintaining high well-being of all citizens, for their transition to values of self-expression, creativity. Thus, it is shown that existential democracy is not just an ephemeral construct, but can be implemented in practice for the good of human personalities and the whole society consisting of them.

The article analyzes the development of economic cooperation between China and the countries of the Central Asian region – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan – at the present stage. It char-acterizes the main points of contact between these states, considers the key vectors of their interaction and identifies common problems accompanying this process. Necessity of joint efforts of the countries of the region and China to build the Silk Road Economic Belt as a project that opens wide opportunities for the development of the national economy of all participants highlighted. It is emphasized that the relevance of this study is condi-tioned by the global redistribution of political and, consequently, economic positions in the world, including Central Asia; it allows to determine the role and importance of each stakeholder in modern conditions and to forecast the development strategy of the region as a whole. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that cooperation at different levels and in various spheres (energy, “green” economy, transportation) is beneficial to all parties to the interaction under study and will contribute to both strengthening the economies of the CAR states, expand-ing the sphere of influence of the PRC, and mutual understanding of the countries of the region, ensuring their ability to withstand new external challenges.

The paper delves into the problem of meeting the needs of Russia’s electronic industry with technological equipment for semiconductor production at present and in the medium term, taking into account the expected development of consumer industries. A quantitative assessment of the scale of the emerging electronic engi-neering industry in Russia, as well as the necessary investments for this purpose is formed. The available op-portunities for reorientation of Russian imports of equipment for the electronic industry to countries that are not unfriendly are considered, and the groups of equipment are identified for which the reorientation of imports is possible, and for which it is completely unrealizable. The analysis of the means of localization in Russia of the necessary industry competencies through cooperation with non-CIS countries, as well as deepening coopera-tion with Belarus, which possesses technologies in the field of production of equipment for the electronics in-dustry in demand in Russia, is carried out.

The expansion of digitalization affects all sectors of the country’s economy, including construction. The devel-opment of the digital economy in the country is evidenced by the growth of domestic spending on it from all sources. Based on the results of the analysis of statistical data, the authors came to the conclusion that the con-struction industry is inferior in many indicators of the use of information technology compared to other indus-tries. The constraining factors for the development of digitalization in construction are highlighted. Promising areas of application of information and communication technologies have been identified, which will have a positive impact on the competitiveness of this industry. It was noted that the introduction of new digital tools in the construction sector should be aimed at the interaction of the home buyer and the developer at the design and operation stages, which will have a positive effect on the result of the final product. The results of the study can be taken into account when developing strategies for the development of construction companies and the industry market.

The article examines the role and importance of indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals in the for-eign policy activities of states using the methodology of process tracking. The study contributes to the elimina-tion of gaps in the study of the relationship between the quality of these indicators and strategies of internation-al relations. It is shown that the Millennium Development Goals became the basis for defining the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015. It is argued that the latter play a crucial role in the global political process, since they support the development priorities approved by the world community. In many cases, their indicators are developed selectively, in accordance with the foreign policy interests of states. It is noted that ensuring the ef-fectiveness of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is conditioned by the quality of indicators devel-oped to determine the progress of the process, which should be based on reliable data.

The widespread use of social media in the process of to providing qualified legal assistance by representatives of various legal professions, including advocates, on the one hand, improved citizens’ access to legal infor-mation and receiving qualified legal assistance, but on the other hand, it caused new risks. World practice is replete with examples when unethical and unprofessional behavior of advocates on social media was nega-tively reflected both in law practice and on clients. Having studied such examples, the author of the article for-mulates proposals aimed at minimizing the risks associated with the participation of lawyers in social media. These proposals are aimed at expanding the ability of advocates to use social media in professional activities, comprehensive protection of such communication, as well as the ability of clients to receive up-to-date legal information and, if necessary, qualified legal assistance.
