As the cradle of global scientific and technological innovation, Silicon Valley has nurtured many start-ups, among which the "garage" entrepreneurial culture has promoted the birth of countless business miracles with its unique creativity, keen market insight and unremitting innovation spirit. However, the entrepreneurial process is full of uncertainties, and risk management has become the key to ensure the steady development of startup companies. By analyzing the types of market risk, technology risk, capital risk and talent risk in the process of starting a garage in Silicon Valley, and combining with the practical cases of typical startup companies such as Airbnb, this paper expounds in detail the implementation process of risk management, including risk identification, evaluation, monitoring and control. At the theoretical level, the basic principles of pragmatics, such as the cooperative principle and presupposition theory, have a profound impact on language understanding and production. At the practical level, the author advocates integrating pragmatic awareness into the classroom, improving students' pragmatic competence through case analysis, role playing and other interactive ways, so that they can flexibly use language in actual communication, instead of just mastering grammar rules and vocabulary knowledge. This paper examines the impact of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) indicators on capital market liquidity. Using companies from the S&P 500 index that have published ESG reports for at least three years as samples, the study analyzes the relationship between ESG scores and market liquidity through a multiple linear regression model. The findings reveal that companies with higher ESG performance experience increased trading activity, indicating a significant positive correlation between ESG indicators and market liquidity. Furthermore, the research identifies that company size, profitability, institutional shareholding ratio, and market conditions significantly influence market liquidity. Specifically, larger companies, those with stronger profitability, a higher proportion of institutional shareholdings, and favorable market conditions tend to have better stock liquidity. Conversely, a high asset-liability ratio and stock price volatility negatively affect market liquidity. These findings not only reveal the importance of ESG indicators in the capital market, but also provide valuable reference for investors' decision-making and market supervision.
