This study aimed to assess Jiangxi Science and Technology Vocational College students' perceptions of community sports programs with a view to developing improved community sports programs. The study found that students generally rated the program as excellent in terms of accessibility, sustainability, effectiveness and satisfaction, demonstrating its success in addressing barriers to participation, using environmentally friendly, inclusive and flexible strategies, and responding to student feedback responded positively. Although there were differences in terms of gender, age, course, and grade level, these factors had no significant impact on students' evaluations of community sports programs. Through the evaluation of existing programs and suggestions for improvement, this study hopes to provide a valuable reference for the development of sports programs in vocational colleges.

Under the background of integration of technology and higher education, this paper probes the question whether technology can advance liberal education, especial the critical thinking capability required by liberal education, in English major. The paper first identifies English major as a part of the humanity and social science disciplines, in which liberal education is essential and indispensable. Since liberal education emphasizes the capability of critical thinking, the paper then asks whether the integration of technology can promote the student’s critical thinking and therefore facilitate liberal education. The paper then applies the eight principles of critical thinking (TERRIFIC Principles) to evaluate the blended teaching of Contemporary American Culture and Society (CACS), a core course of English major at the Faculty of English Language and Culture, GDUFS. After examining the textbook, syllabus, program setting, teaching practice and assessment of CACS, it is found that blended online and offline teaching is better at developing the student’s capability of critical thinking than traditional offline teaching. The paper concludes that technology-empowered learning is conducive to liberal education.

Against the backdrop of rapid global economic advancement, intensifying corporate competition has made employee mental health a pivotal factor affecting both organizational performance and employee well-being. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), as structured mental health support services, have garnered increasing attention from corporate entities and academia alike. EAPs not only aim to address employees' psychological issues but also strive to enhance their work efficiency and overall satisfaction. By offering psychological counseling, stress management, and other comprehensive services, EAPs effectively alleviate workplace stress, promote mental well-being, and consequently elevate corporate productivity and competitiveness. Research underscores a significant positive correlation between mental health and work efficiency. Maintaining a healthy psychological state facilitates sustained high performance among employees, mitigating absenteeism and turnover stemming from psychological issues. As businesses increasingly prioritize employee mental health, the global adoption of EAPs is becoming more widespread. This study aims to determine the physical health status of middle school students and its influencing factors as a basis for enhancing physical education courses, aiming to improve students' physical fitness. With the proliferation of technological devices, teenagers are spending more time in indoor activities, affecting their physical development. Through the implementation of national sunshine sports and related policies, students' physical fitness has improved, but there is still the problem of focusing on academics and neglecting sports. Research results show that students generally have good cardiopulmonary function, but have higher obesity rates. Personal, environmental, school and social factors have a significant impact on students' physical health status. To solve this problem, comprehensive measures need to be taken to improve physical education courses, encourage students to actively participate in sports activities, and improve overall health.

Effective transitional community governance is an objective requirement for achieving efficient grassroots governance. Analyzing the basic context, internal logic, and development drivers of transitional community governance changes is of positive significance for promoting the modernization of the national grassroots governance system and governance capabilities. Based on the perspective of historical institutionalism, China's transitional community governance has roughly gone through three stages: a government led unitary control system, a core diversified system, and a community governance system. The basic logic of its transformation is from "management" to "governance", from "extensive" to "refined", and from "government led" to "diversified co governance".
