It is evident that we will be able to retain and apply more knowledge into practice if we have spent more time in reviewing and practicing. Active student practice and consistent review are the key components of mastery learning. However, in Mathematics teaching, some of the commonly used instructional approaches such as “Practice on the blackboard” and “Assignment of homework” contradict the above mentioned key elements of content mastery. In view of this, our study aims to examine the effectiveness of an interactive activity, Tarsia. Tarsia allows students to elicit the characteristics of fun and playfulness while ensuring enough practices are obtained. Our results have shown that students view Tarsia as an interesting activity which enables them to develop new knowledge as well as promoting collaborative skills among the team members. Collaboration, is one of the four 21st century skills proposed by National Education Association (NEA) as the important skills to possess in order to succeed in the constantly changing 21st century.

The study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the Collaborative Teaching Approach Manual (CTAM) on the mastery of the basic standard of literacy writing Malay language level one. The study was conducted by quasi-experiment using CTAM in teaching and facilitating. This study was conducted in Primary School in Pasir Gudang district which involved a sample of 70 students in year two. The two teachers involved were Remedial Teacher and Malay Teacher in this study. The t-test is used to test the hypothesis of the study. The findings showed that there was a significant difference to the experimental group using CTAM in achieving the overall basic standard of literacy writing Malay language students. The findings show that the use of CTAM is able to increase the level of literacy mastery more effectively to the pupils.

Not only education is important in developing one’s intellectual and personal quality, but also an influential factor in seeking employment. Therefore, education is even more important for disabled individuals, as it enables them to read and write, communicate, make decisions and most importantly be employed. However, Dr. Mullai Ramaiah stated that the current Malaysian education system does not only lack in early screening, but also teachers who are equipped to teach and handle children with special needs (Arukesamy, 2017). Therefore, this current study intends to investigate the competency of preschool teachers in identifying children who are at risk of any learning disabilities (LD). This was done by administering a questionnaire survey to examine teachers’ knowledge of some common learning disabilities that usually affects preschool children. In this research, the relationship between teachers’ competency and teacher’s education level has been investigated. Findings from the data analysis indicated that the level of teacher’s competency in identifying children at risk is relatively low. It was revealed, a majority of general preschool teachers do not have any knowledge or acquired minimal knowledge in identifying children who are at risk of an LD. Findings also show that there was a significant difference in competencies between teachers of different levels of education. Finally, it was found teachers’ experience does not contribute to their knowledge in identifying children at risk of LD.

Employees always expect their employers to fulfil the promises according to the conditions embedded in the employment contract being the factor binding them together, because when the employer fail to meet up with the promises made, it results to psychological employment contract breach. Thus, it has become crucial for employers to uphold prior promises made to employees for the purpose of reciprocated gestures from the employees leading to increased motivation and performance in the organizations. This paper used little number of sample data in examining psychological contract, trust and psychological employment contract breach in Nigeria public universities. More so, it employ the use of SPSS (Version 24) to examine the reliability and cronbach alpha of the measurement instruments, as well as the content and face validity. Academicians and experts were used in the instrument assessment and the pilot study result revealed that the instruments are reliable with evidence of reasonable regularity.

We conduct this research to investigate the way conflict management and procedural justice can affect employee performance in academia of Pakistan. We used the quantitative method to conduct our research, we take a sample size of 322 employees (n=322) who work at different positions in universities. We used SPSS technique to analyze our data, use different tests regression, correlation and reliabilities. The results of correlation show a significant relationship between all of our three variables. This shows that for organizational performance, both conflict management strategies adopted by managers and perception of procedural justice are important.

Turnover rate of the employee remains one of the most frustrating and persistent issues faced by the organization and company over the decades. The turnover rate of employees increased in the past few years in every field. The effectiveness for the companies to investigate of studies on decreasing the turnover intentions of the employees are therefore the particular interest to investigate. Thus, we argue that is necessarily to have a comprehensive review in exploring the influences of Herzberg’s theory on the turnover intentions on employees. We present a systematic review of empirical studies to investigate the relationship between the Herzberg’s theory and employees’ turnover intentions as it will help us in reaching more explicit and comprehensive understanding on the theory. Due to the cultural difference between Western and Asian countries, we elaborate on the potential influences on the Herzberg’s theory to the turnover intentions. The contributions of this paper are to expose the diversity of understandings on the motivating and hygiene factors in Herzberg’s theory and to provide a conceptual mapping for the planning of the further research.
