The Role of Biological Differences in Sexual Self-Concept and Mental Health in Homosexual and Heterosexual Women 同性恋和异性恋女性性自我概念与心理健康的生理差异

Nowadays, experts and health organizations consider mental emotions and sexual well-being the most crucial parts of sexual self-concept and mental health. Numerous variables can influence women's sexual self-perception and mental health. Consequently, this study aimed to examine the parameters associated with sexual self-concept and mental health in lesbian and heterosexual women. In this scoping review study, researchers performed computer searches on databases, Google Web, SID, Scholar Scopus, and PubMed, using keywords. Finally, the complete data of 29 articles have been used in this review article. Factors related to self-concept and mental health can be also enumerated, which were generally studied. The findings of the present review show that sexual self-concept and mental health as a key indicator in sexual activity and predict sexual behavior are influenced by various factors which includes the effect of hormones, genetic differences, age, gender, marital status, race, impotency and various diseases. Therefore, it seems that paying attention to relevant factors to the characteristics of each person can improve women's sexual health. In order to increase the depth and breadth of our knowledge of factors related to and affecting mental health and sexual self-concept, conducting studies with a qualitative approach is also recommended.

Effect of Job Crafting on Faculty’s Job Satisfaction and Performance; The Moderating Role of Perceived Organizational Support. 工作制作对教师工作满意度和绩效的影响组织支持感的调节作用。

Job crafting is a strategy in human resource management that aims to improve employee productivity and job performance. It focuses on the relationship between employees' perceptions of their workplace and their satisfaction with their job. The JD-R theory, which states that employees perform better when they have access to necessary job resources and demands, was used to conduct a study using a cross-sectional research design. A survey was distributed to university faculty using online methods, and the results showed a positive relationship between job crafting and employee performance and job satisfaction. Additionally, the study found that Perceived Organizational Support plays an important role in the relationship between job crafting and job satisfaction. These findings suggest that human resource managers can use job crafting as a tool to improve employee outcomes and understand their needs.

The Impact of Academic Self-efficacy, E-learning Adoption and Academic Motivation on Self-rated Academic Performance of University Students 学业自我效能感、网络学习采用和学业动机对大学生学业自评成绩的影响

The primary objective of this research was to examine the perception of e-learning among university students, in relation to their skills, learning behaviors, and their levels of academic self-efficacy and motivation under an e-learning environment, and its impact on their academic performance. A sample of 200 undergraduate students from a university of education participated in the study. Utilizing a regression model, it was found that students are more at ease and inclined to learn in an e-learning environment, which improves their comprehension of e-learning, self-efficacy, and motivation for academic performance. The results are significant as they demonstrate the impact of students' academic motivations, self-efficacy and their understanding of e-learning towards academic performance. The study suggests that for students to perform academically in an e-learning environment, they must possess strong and sharp minds and be able to acquire digital skills. The outcomes of this research can be used to guide the counseling of students, instructors, and directors to enhance the effective implementation of e-learning.

A Measure of Romantic Love: The Psychometric Properties of the Love Bank Inventory 浪漫爱情的测量:爱情银行量表的心理测量特征

The purpose of this research was to thoroughly study the psychometric properties of the Love Bank Inventory (LBI) with married participants. The LBI is a 21-item Likert-type English survey developed to measure romantic love for a partner. Two studies were conducted with independent data sets (Study 1: n = 143; Study 2: n = 142) that represented 22- to 62-year-old heterosexual, nondyadic married respondents with multicultural citizenship. The results of the two studies provide support for (a) a single-factor model, (b) convergent validity with a positive correlation with the statement about romantic love (rs = .67 - .68) and construct criterion validity with a positive correlation with the Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment Test (r = .76 - .80), (c) internal consistency of LBI statements (? = .95 - .96,), and (d) test-retest reliability (r = .88). These two studies provide support for the use of the LBI as a free tool to assess romantic love in marriage education development and applied settings.

Are You Bored With Your Skincare Brand? The Need for Variety and Brand Switching Intention on Skincare Products 你厌倦了你的护肤品牌吗?护肤品的品种需求及品牌转换意向

Online shopping has been an increasing trend in Indonesia in 2020, followed by e-commerce in Indonesia having growth value of 78%. Based on the analytics, one of the most purchased products by consumers is skincare, where many people have taken an interest in clean beauty skincare. Exposure to various skincare brands can drive the need for variety that affect buying behavior made by consumers. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the need for variety and brand switching intention. A quantitative approach with correlational method was used in this study. Convenience sampling was used as the sampling method and 187 respondents was obtained. Need for Variety and Brand Switching was measured using the EBBT Scale and Brand Switching Intention Scale, respectively, which have been proven to have good reliability and validity. Respondents filled out a research questionnaire through online form. The results obtained from this study showed that there is a positive correlation between the need for variety and brand switching intention on specific brand consumer (r = 0.293, p-value<.05), which indicates that the higher the need for variety, it is likely that the brand switching intention would also be higher. However, the correlation between the two variables fell into the weak category, which could be the cause of consumers are in highly engaged with the skincare products of their choice and with marketers providing variations of each skincare product to prevent consumers from looking for variations in other brands.

Peer Pressure, Academic Stress and Goal Adjustment in Day Scholars and Hostelite College Students 同侪压力、学业压力与寄宿生目标调整

The current study aimed to investigate the gender differences in peer pressure, academic stress, and goal adjustment in day scholars and hostelite college students. A cross-sectional survey research design and convenience sampling strategy were used. Data were collected from 300 college students (day scholars = 171 and hostelites = 129) with a mean age of 17.26(0.86) years of day scholars and a mean age of 17.57(0.91) of hostelites from various public and private colleges, Lahore. For this purpose, Peer Pressure Inventory (Kiran-Esen, 2003) was used to measure peer pressure, Academic stress was measured by using Academic Stress Scale (Kim, 1970) and Goal Adjustment Scale (Wrosch, Scheier, Miller, Schulz, & Carver, 2003) used to measure goal adjustment and demographic information was also obtained. Reliability analysis, independent samples t-test, and Two-way MANOVA were applied. A t-test revealed that day scholar college students experience more direct peer pressure and academic stress. They are more tend to disengage in unattainable goals and are more inclined to reengage in attainable goals rather than hostelite college students. Two-way MANOVA depicted that day scholar boys assume direct peer pressure and they more disengage in unattainable goals and reengage in attainable goals as compared to day scholar girls and hostelite girls and boy college students. The current study will give insight to related educational governing bodies to introduce effective educational methods and a sound environment for students where they can deal with academic stress effectively and be more involved in goal reengagement.

Development and Validation of the Trait-State Personality Questionnaire 特质-状态人格问卷的编制与验证

Although plenty of research has been conducted on the Big Five Personality traits. The present study aimed to develop a scale that measured the Big Five as both a personality trait and state. Two studies were conducted (Study 1, N=597) to examine the internal consistency and structure of the Trait-State Personality Questionnaire and (Study 2=352) to examine the predictive validity by exploring the relationship between the big five and adaptability and satisfaction with life. Overall, the finding revealed good internal consistency α=.926, predictive validity, and measurement variance. Potential applications of the Trait-State Personality Questionnaire are discussed.

Capturing Incarceration: A phenomenological study of Recidivism in Convicted Women 捕捉监禁:被定罪妇女累犯的现象学研究

The present study aimed to find out psychosocial determinants of recidivism in female convicts. Previous literature on recidivism suggested several psychosocial factors behind recidivism e.g. poverty, low self-esteem, personality, and familial factors (Bird, Hussain, & Joyce, 2004). However, the present study used a qualitative approach to find out psychosocial determinants of recidivism, specifically guided by the phenomenological approach. The data was collected from two women's prisons. Six (N=06) semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted. The findings revealed two major themes; psychological factors (personality and social exclusion) and social factors (social demographic factors, familial factors, societal constituents, and judicial system) behind recidivism. This study is helpful for determining the underlying factors behind criminal acts and recidivism and it will help the prison department to consider these psychosocial determinants of recidivism and reentry to prisons and will also help in the psychological assessment of prisoners at their first entry to prison.

Amidst the global pandemic of Covid-19, online learning has been widely used around the country. Teachers’ and students' experiences related to online learning have been explored in this study through the online survey method. This was a novel experience for teachers and students as both groups were not familiar with this mode of education.  Hence, it was imperative to explore their experiences with online learning amidst a pandemic. The data for this study was collected from public and private universities of Faisalabad and Lahore. A total of 430 participants (N=100 teachers & N= 330 students) from Faisalabad and Lahore's colleges and universities were included in the study. The data was gathered using an online survey. The following areas were found to be crucial to the satisfaction of both teachers and students in online classes. Student-faculty contact, technical assistance, organized online classes, and adaptations to enable practical classes were all incorporated in these areas. Since then, this research has focused on a dynamic phenomenon that includes several facets of online learning.

  The aim of this study  is to investigate the effect of planned behavior training on changing the lifestyle of women with a cold temper Quasi-experimental research method and its design of pre-test-post-test type with control and experimental group and statistical population including all cold-tempered women referring to family counseling centers in Hamadan with whit 809 people in the first half of 1400, of which 30 people were available by sampling method and were randomly replaced in two groups of control (15) and experimental group (15 people). To collect information from lifestyle questionnaires (LSQ),  Halbert Marital Relationships (HISD), Behavioral training package was planned which was taught to the experimental group in 9 sessions of 60 minutes virtually. The results of the research hypotheses were analyzed using analysis of covariance and SPSS software version 25. Showed that planned behavior training has a positive and significant effect on changing the lifestyle of cold-tempered women. It is recommended to use this educational model to change and improve the lifestyle of cold-tempered women.
