CYTOTOXIC IMPACT OF OUTER MEMBRANE NANOVESICLES (OMVS) ON OVARIAN CANCER 外膜纳米囊泡(omvs)对卵巢癌细胞毒性的影响

This study focused on extracting the outer membrane nanovesicles (OMVs) from Escherichia coli BE2 (EC- OMVs) by ultracentrifugation, and the yield was 2.3mg/ml. This was followed by purification with gel filtration chromatography using Sephadex G-150, which was 2mg/ml. The morphology and size of purified EC-OMVs were confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) at 40-200 nm. The nature of functional groups in the vesicle vesicle was determined by Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) analysis. The antitumor activity of EC-OMVs was conducted in vitro by MTT assay in human ovarian (OV33) cancer cell line at 24,48 and 96hrs. The cytotoxicity test showed high susceptibility to the vesicles in ovarian compared to normal cells with IC50 of 7.169 µg/ml at 96hrs of incubation. Human Bocavirus Diagnosis by Molecular Method from Respiratory Infection Patients in Mosul City 摩苏尔市呼吸道感染患者的核糖核酸分子诊断

The Bocavirus, which causes respiratory illness in the lower respiratory tract in newborns, children, and healthy adults, was investigated in this study. Methodology and results: The samples were taken as Nasopharyngeal / Throat swabs kept in sterile VTM ( Viral Transport Media ), Which was collected from Mosul Hospitals within six months of the study. The Tested patients' ages ranged from under 20 to above 40 ( between 11 57 ) for both sex males and females. The dominion age group was above 30, and the DNA of this virus was extracted by the real-time PCR method ). Conclusion, significance, and impact of study: the molecular test indicates positive in twenty-four samples from all 70. This demonstrates the presence of Bocavirus in ( 20%) males and ( 14.28%) female understudies. Association between Serum Vitamin B12 and Folate Levels with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus On Metformin Therapy 血清维生素B12和叶酸水平与二甲双胍治疗2型糖尿病的关系

Background: Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin, and its lack causes the methylation process to be disrupted, further resulting in the formation of abnormal fatty acids, which results in neurological manifestations. The water-soluble vitamin folate, often known as folic acid or vitamin B9, is especially vital during high cell division and growth periods. Objective: The study aims to evaluate serum vitamin B12 and folate levels in type 2 diabetic patients with and without metformin therapy and to correlate their levels with other parameters in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional controlled study that included 90 participants, 60 type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with metformin therapy designated as (the metformin group) and 30 type 2 diabetes mellitus without metformin therapy considered as (the control group). The study was conducted from December 2021 to the end of March 2021 at private internal medicine clinics in Tikrit City, Iraq. Blood samples were assessed for serum vitamin B12 and folate using Cl-900i Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer and glycated hemoglobin HbA1c using AFIAS Analyzer in all metformin and control groups. Result: The study showed that there were significant differences in vitamin B12 of (p < 0.01) and folate of (p < 0.05) between the metformin group and the control group. Significant negative correlations were found between vitamin B12 and diabetes mellitus (DM) duration and HbA1c. Folate was negatively correlated and highly significant with DM duration and HbA1c (p < 0.01). Conclusion: The results showed low vitamin B12 and folate levels in T2DM patients. Vitamin B12 and folate were negatively correlated with DM duration and HbA1c. The results suggest a higher risk of vitamin B12 and folate deficiency with metformin use and emphasize the concern of vitamin B12 and folate deficiency in T2DM patients. The importance of the cucumber crop is highlighted because it is important from a nutritional and health point of view for humans because of its importance in the economy. A random sample was selected for this research estimated at.(75) farmers from the producers of the cucumber crop in Salah al-Din Governorate - Tikrit district. Moreover, the Data was taken from farmers using a questionnaire form. Information about The merchants was taken from the wholesale market in the Tikrit district using (34) A questionnaire, as well as collecting (46) From the retailers' forms. The results showed that the commission rate increased to (5%) of the product prices, and this is the reason for the high price of the product among retailers. The share of the product from consumer spending for the cucumber crop has reached (49.46%). As for the wholesaler's share of consumer spending for the crop under study (18.53%). As for the retailer's share of consumer spending for the crop under study (32%). As for the mediators’ share of the consumer’s dinar for the crop under study (50.53%). The results showed that the marketing margin between the wholesalers' stage and the product was (27.25%) dinars/kg. In comparison, the relative margin for the wholesalers and retailers stage amounted to (32%) and the margin between the retailers stage and product (50(. The study showed a rise in the profits of the retailer from the margin, as it ranked first, as it reached an average of the cucumber crop of about (218.44 dinars - kg), while the profit for the wholesaler amounted to about (132.57 dinars/ kg The product profits amounted to about (98.655) dinars - kg. The researcher recommended working to provide production requirements and agricultural marketing requirements for the cucumber crop with good quality and appropriate prices, which have an effective role in reducing production and marketing costs. The current study aimed to use three cultivars of Iraqi dates in the date stage, AlZuhdi hard, Sayer semi-hard and soft Paraben) and fumigating these dates with ethyl formate to preserve them and studying the physical traits of the dates under study in three periods (the pre-storage period, the three-month post-storage period and the six-month storage period).The physical traits included (total soluble solids, pH, viscosity, relative viscosity, surface tension, density, refractive index, and electrical conductivity. The research aims to estimate the technical and specialized efficiency and the economic efficiency of wheat crop varieties according to the data envelope analysis method (DEA) and according to the varieties in the research sample, which are (Bura, Adana, Iba 99), and the data was obtained by designing a questionnaire using the random sampling method for farms in the field. It determined the size of the samples for the studied items according to their percentage in the community for (150) farms by (50 for each item in the research sample. The results of the efficiency analysis were obtained according to the data envelope for production functions and costs with stability and change in capacity returns. The results of the analysis showed, depending on the variables of the production function, The results showed that the farms that achieved full efficiency (100%) were (11) farms, which were divided into (3) farms for the (Bura) variety, (6) farms for the (Adena) variety, and (2) farms for the (Ibaa 99) variety. These farms can be counted. This study was conducted in the poultry field of the Department of Animal Production / College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences / University of BaghdadAbu Ghraib for the period from 10/15/2021 to 11/25/2021 to show the effect ofadding different levels of dill seeds to the diet on productive and carcass traits Forbroiler meat. In this study, 200 unsexed broiler chicks of breed (308 Ross) wereused, one day age, with a starting weight of (42) g. The chicks were randomlydistributed to 5 treatments, and each treatment included 4 replicates, 10 birds foreach replicate. The birds were fed three diets: the starter diet, the growth diet andthe final diet. The experiment treatments were T1, T2, T3, T4 and T5, adding dillseeds at average (0, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2%), respectively. The experiment results indicated a significantly excelled(P < 0.05) for treatment T5. Compared with the T1treatment, it did not differ significantly from the rest of the treatments; adding dillseeds T2, T3 and T4 in body weight, weight gain and feed consumed for broilersat 42 days, an improvement was observed in the food conversion ratio of treatmentT5 compared to the rest of the treatments in the first week, and in the fourth week,the results indicated a significant improvement (0.01>P) in the feed conversionratio of the addition treatments T2, T3, T4 and T5 compared to treatment T1. Itwas found that there was a significant (P < 0.05) excel in the carcass weight of theT5 treatment compared to the T4 treatment. It did not differ significantly with theT1, T2 and T3 treatments, and a significant (P < 0.05) in the relative weight of thegizzard for the T4 treatment compared to the T1 treatment and the liver relativeweight for the two treatments. T4 and T5 as compared to T1. Also, a significantexcel (P<0.05) was observed in the relative weight of the thigh for treatment T1and T4 compared to T5. When calculating the relative weight of the neck, it wasnoted that treatment T1 compared to treatment T5. When calculating the relativeweight of the back, treatment T4 excelled on the rest of the treatments. We conclude from this study that adding 1.2% of dill seeds to the diet improved the productive traits of broilers.Keywords: dill seeds, broilers, productive performance, carcasses.

Amis: NAFLD is considered to be the most common cause of liver conditions worldwide. Also, it is a primary reason that leads to coronary artery diseases, limiting blood flow to the heart. Therefore, This study aimed to evaluate the serum level of Nesfatin-1 and its ability to indicate the prognosis of CAD in patients with NAFLD. Material & Methods: one-hundred eighty Individuals were enrolled in the study, including In both genders, blood was collected from each Individual and sent to the laboratory for biochemical tests. Findings: Data from the current study showed a significant increase in Nesfatin-1 in the CAD group and a significant decrease in Nesfatin-1 in the NAFLD group compared to the control group. In addition, there was also a significant increase in both cardiac parameters and AST in the CAD group compared to the NAFLD group and the control group. Conclusion: Patients with coronary artery disease have higher Nesfatin-1 Concentration due to Nesfatin-1 having anti-inflammatory properties that raise the level of Nesfatin-1. In addition, Data from the current study showed a significant positive correlation between Nesfatin-1 and (ALT and AST) in NAFLD patients. The present study aimed to evaluate the serum level of interleukins 32 and 37 (IL-32 and IL-37) in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. An ELISA was used to measure the levels of cytokines in the blood of 56 RA patients and 44 healthy volunteers who were enrolled in the study from November 2021 to March 2022. Serum levels of IL-32 and IL-37 in the RA patients were significantly higher compared to the control groups (IL32, p = 0.035; IL37, p = 0.011). In addition, cytokine concentration levels were higher in RA patients under therapy than in RA patients with a first diagnosis and without therapy, with significant differences in IL-37(141.389 ± 24.133 vs. 58.852 ± 7.806 ng/L). In comparison, there were no significant differences in IL-32 (93.740 ± 10.835 vs. 76.722 ± 9.321 ng/L). The results suggest that pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines may play an essential role in the progression of RA. Keywords: Autoimmunity, IL-32, IL-37, Rheumatoid arthritis.

Gene expression in some maize genotypes 部分玉米基因型的基因表达

Three genotypes of maize, namely (Baghdad, 5018, and Sara) were investigated inthe fields of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University ofBaghdad/ Al-Jadriya, in the fall season 2021-2022. With three sowing dates (26July, 4 August, 12 August), The experiment was implemented according to arandomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. The aim is todetect the expression of the INCW1 gene associated with sucrose-to-glucoseanalysis, which is critical for many metabolic functions in different sink tissues,and determine the amount of fold gene expression to find out which of the genotypes contain the invertase gene, and which ones have a high level of gene expression based on the fold of gene expression. The results showed significantdifferences in the invertase enzyme activity for the genotypes. The best genotypewas (Sara) which showed a value of 1.14 mg-1.units.protein—followed genotype(Baghdad) 0.86 mg-1.units.protein. The least effective protein was for genotype(5018), which showed a value of 0.40 mg-1.units.protein. As for the sowing dates,the second sowing date (D2) was the best, which showed a value of 1.39mg-1.units.protein. Followed by the third sowing date (D3), which showed a valueof 0.51 mg-1.units.protein, and the first sowing date (D1), which showed the mostnegligible value of 0.51 mg-1units. The expression of the INCW1 gene varied inthe genotypes of three sowing dates with values ranging between (0.30) and (2.38),where the genotype (Sara) at the second sowing date (D2), which showed the valuehighest of gene expression (2.38) and the exact date (D3) gave INCW1 geneshowed value (2.21) for genotype (Baghdad).
