Analysis of the Relevant Characteristics of Online Fraud Cases Happened on College Students 大学生网络诈骗案件的相关特征分析

In the Internet era, the college student groups are Internet users who use the Internet more widely and deeply with more frequency than the ordinary Internet users. However, college students have insufficient social experience and they have been living in a relatively simple living environment for a long time, which makes them have low ability to distinguish the true from the false and become the targeted by cyber scammers easily. This paper analyzes the causes and the basic types of online fraud cases happened on college students through studying the current situation of online fraud cases happened on college students so as to guide college students to learn to screen and self-protect, and to cultivate more comprehensive high-quality talents.
在互联网时代,大学生群体是比普通互联网用户更广泛、更深入、使用频率更高的互联网用户。然而,大学生社会经验不足,长期生活在相对简单的生活环境中,辨别真假的能力较低,容易成为网络诈骗者的目标。本文通过对大学生网络诈骗案件发生现状的研究,分析大学生网络诈骗案件发生的原因和基本类型,从而引导大学生学会甄别和自我保护,培养更全面的高素质人才。

Measuring Self-Regulation of Distance Learners: A Comparative Study of Science and Arts Students 远程学习者自我调节的测量——理工科与文科学生的比较研究

In distance learning, students’ self-regulation and autonomy has vital place. Learner’s selfregulation is a major predictor of the academic success of distance learner. The high rate of selfregulation increases the quality of distance education. Therefore, it is important to explore that how much self-regulated the distance learners are in a distance education mode. This study aimed at exploring the self-regulation strategies of science and arts students studying in a distance learning university. The present study was descriptive in nature and survey was used for it. A sample of forty students was selected through purposive sampling. Learners’ self-regulation was measured through research tool, having six constructs such as planning, monitoring, effort made by the distance learners to accomplish the course, self-efficacy, help-seeking situations, time and environment management situations. The data was collected through online questionnaire. It was found that distance learning science students were more self-regulated than arts students. Overall science students scored significantly higher grades than that of arts students. It is concluded that the science students are more self  regulated due to self monitoring for their studies, more goal setting and more group interdependence. Goal setting and group interdependence can be considered as contributor for high GPA of distance learners. For science students, group interdependence is a good predictor of more GPA, however, for arts students, future orientation can be a predictor of good GPA. It is recommended that more interaction must be increased between instructor and arts students so that they can be more self-regulated about their studies.

Influence of Social Interaction on Workplace Motivation and Efficiency of Instructors: An Exploratory Case Study about an Online University in Pakistan 社会互动对教师工作动机和工作效率的影响:巴基斯坦一所网络大学的探索性案例研究

This study investigates the level of social interaction, its determinants and influence on the instructors’ motivation and work efficiency in an online university in Pakistan. Exploratory case study design has been used for this purpose. Data was gathered through participant observations and one-to-one interviews. Ten interviews were conducted from instructors belonging to four different departments. Observations were carried out for a period of one month. The study revealed that in the online university, level of social interaction was lower than a traditional one. Instructors pointed out various reasons behind it including high workload, seating arrangements, and attitude of some of the heads. Even when they had free time and opportunities, most of the them preferred browsing through the internet or chatting with their fellows through computers. It appeared that the online culture and intense human-computer interaction had made them addicted to machines. Almost all the instructors agreed that higher and better level of social interaction would improve their job motivation, work efficiency and institutional attachment. They suggested more relaxed environment, trips and social gathering, workshops and conferences involving all the departments, sports week for the faculty members, and facilities like canteen and staffroom for improved social interaction and work experience.

An Examination of Open and Distance Learning Support System using Data Analytics: A Case Study of AIOU 基于数据分析的开放远程学习支持系统研究——以AIOU为例

This research paper was aimed to explore the trends in Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) open and distance learning support system (ODLSS). The study was quantitative in its approach and descriptive research design was adopted. Data were collected through Google data analytics software. In this research the data of ODLSS for four years were included from 2016-2019. To explore the trends in ODLSS the data were collected on number of visitors, visitors by time, city, country, technology, screen resolution, and language used. It was found that over the time period AIOU students increased in accessing the ODLSS using mobiles through android and windows sets. They mostly used chrome to access the website. At present no mobile APP has been developed by AIOU for the mobile users. So, it was recommended that AIOU should develop a mobile application for android users so that students may get information easily anywhere.

Challenges in Implementing STEM Education and Role of Teacher Education Programs in Mitigating these Challenges 实施STEM教育的挑战和教师教育计划在缓解这些挑战中的作用

STEM instruction is an incorporated methodology that consolidates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. This study aimed at finding expected challenges in implementing STEM education and role of teacher education programs in mitigating possible challenges in implementing STEM education in Baluchistan. To achieve the objectives, quantitative methodology was used. Sample was selected using judgmental convenience sampling technique.  The sample of the study consisted of, 202 pre-service teacher educators from three public universities of Quetta. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics including frequencies and percentage. The findings indicated that although the implementation of integrated STEM education in Baluchistan may face challenges, the role of teacher education programs in mitigating these challenges is significant.

Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation: Case of Higher Education Institution 《一般数据保护条例》的实施:以高等教育机构为例

The aim of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is to ensure the consistency of the protection of personal data across the European Union (EU). The GDPR imposes new rules that directly affect every Member State. The purpose of this paper is to identify the practical implications of GDPR and to discuss the changes that have the most practical relevance. The situation regarding the collection, processing and use of personal data at the higher education institution (HEI) in Croatia is analyzed with aim of alignment with the provisions of the GDPR. Accordingly, the areas within the HEI that are subject to change are identified, and measures implemented in order to align to the GDPR are presented.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the practical implications of GDPR and to discuss the changes that have the most practical relevance. The situation regarding the collection, processing and use of personal data at the higher education institution (HEI) in Croatia is analyzed with aim of alignment with the provisions of the GDPR. Placement of a Bird Jigsaw Puzzle on a Creative Story Website to Enhance Learning Pleasure and Understanding of Animal Conservation 在创意故事网站放置雀鸟拼图,增加学习乐趣及加深对动物保育的认识

In order to establish the concept of animal conservation and learn about local animals under conservation, this study adopted flash program codes to make digital jigsaw puzzles of Fairy Pitta and placed them on a creative story website. The results show that the website with animation teaching materials was able to help students raise their understanding of animals under conservation in Taiwan and enhance their awareness of animal conservation. The digital jigsaw puzzles of Fairy Pitta followed the animation, thus increasing the enjoyment of the website, inspiring students’ thinking agility, and improving intelligence and learning effectiveness. The creative story website with animation teaching materials on animal conservation can raise the understanding of animal conservation of browsers. Through games, the edutainment website can trigger follow-up practices, and so it is highly recognized by browsers. The results of this study were presented at a scientific exhibition.
为了树立动物保护的理念,了解当地受保护的动物,本研究采用flash程序代码制作了仙女皮塔的数字拼图,并将其放置在一个创意故事网站上。结果显示,动画教材网站能帮助学生提高对台湾保育动物的了解,并提升他们的动物保育意识。精灵皮塔的数字拼图跟随动画,增加了网站的趣味性,激发了学生的思维敏捷性,提高了智力和学习效率。动物保护动画教材的创意故事网站,可以提高浏览者对动物保护的认识。寓教于乐网站通过游戏引发后续实践,因此受到浏览者的高度认可。这项研究的结果在一个科学展览会上公布了。

Building Design of Smart Chinese Online Learning Platform Based on Intercultural Communication 基于跨文化交流的智能汉语在线学习平台构建设计

As the expansion of overseas Chinese learners, distance education of Chinese as a foreign language is getting more and more attention, which gives it a great market potential. Although different kinds of Chinese learning websites are gradually flourishing, there are still plenty of problems need to be solved like education resources, website design and faculty management. In the present paper, we will analyze the characteristics of overseas Chinese learners firstly, and then put forward the building design of smart Chinese online learning platform based on intercultural communication, to provide a new idea for the future development of Chinese distance education.
随着海外汉语学习者的扩大,对外汉语远程教育越来越受到重视,具有巨大的市场潜力。虽然各类中文学习网站逐渐兴起,但仍存在着教育资源、网站设计、师资管理等诸多问题需要解决。本文将首先分析海外汉语学习者的特点,然后提出基于跨文化交流的智能汉语在线学习平台的构建设计,为今后汉语远程教育的发展提供新的思路。

Research on Bullying Law and Education in the Context of Educational Informatization 教育信息化背景下的校园欺凌法律与教育研究

This paper first combs the literature of domestic and foreign scholars on campus bullying. Secondly, the author explains the current situation of campus bullying in China, and summarizes the corresponding characteristics. Then, taking developed countries such as Britain and Japan as examples, this paper analyzes the laws and regulations of anti-bullying in detail, discusses its implementation and policy effect, and then explores the experience and Enlightenment for China, such as the combination of guidance education and appropriate punishment, the expansion of guardian responsibility, and the strengthening of data collection and statistics system construction. Finally, based on the results of country comparison, this paper draws relevant conclusions, in order to make suggestions for the relevant departments of education. As mentioned above, in view of many problems in campus bullying that cannot be monitored in detail, with the help of digitalization, networking, intelligence and multimedia of educational resources, educational informatization can find problems more timely and efficiently. Therefore, this paper further studies the current situation and typical representative enterprises of China's educational informatization.
本文首先梳理了国内外学者关于校园欺凌的文献。其次,作者阐述了中国校园欺凌的现状,并总结了相应的特征。然后,以英国、日本等发达国家为例,详细分析了反欺凌的法律法规,探讨了其实施和政策效果,进而探讨了引导教育与适当惩罚相结合、扩大监护人责任、加强数据收集和统计制度建设等对中国的经验和启示。最后,根据各国比较的结果,得出相关结论,以期为教育相关部门提出建议。如上所述,针对校园欺凌中存在的许多无法被详细监控的问题,借助教育资源的数字化、网络化、智能化、多媒体,教育信息化可以更及时、高效地发现问题。因此,本文进一步研究了中国教育信息化的现状和典型代表企业。
