O presente artigo descreve uma experiência de extensão que teve como objetivo promover atividades práticas experimentais através de uma oficina intitulada "Os microrganismos e a compostagem". O intuito foi aprimorar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e despertar o interesse dos estudantes pela microbiologia. O projeto foi dividido em duas etapas: teórica e prática. Ao todo, 41 alunos do Ensino Fundamental, provenientes de uma escola pública, participaram da iniciativa, permitindo-lhes adquirir conhecimento sobre o tema e desenvolver uma maior conscientização sobre a influência dos microrganismos no cotidiano das pessoas. A presente experiência revelou-se como uma oportunidade enriquecedora de aprendizado e sensibilização para os estudantes envolvidos, contribuindo positivamente para o ensino da microbiologia nesse contexto educacional.

A dieta vegetariana tem efeitos benéficos à saúde, embora haja risco de deficiências nutricionais caso não seja bem planejada. Diante disso, este trabalho teve por objetivo promover a saúde, a qualidade de vida e a prevenção da deficiência nutricional em vegetarianos e desenvolver habilidades práticas nos discentes e nos profissionais de saúde. Trata-se de um estudo transversal com vegetarianos, adultos, de ambos os sexos. Dados antropométricos, sociodemográficos e de estilo de vida foram coletados nos 476 atendimentos nutricionais realizados em 239 vegetarianos. Foram criados protocolos e realizados simpósios e oficinas. Após diagnóstico nutricional, elaboraram-se orientações para cada indivíduo. A deficiência de vitamina B12, ferritina e hemoglobina ocorreram em 93%, 37% e 11% dos indivíduos no 1º atendimento. Após as intervenções, a maioria reduziu a deficiência, demonstrando a importância do acompanhamento aos indivíduos vegetarianos.

Este trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver atividades com os licenciandos em Química, tendo em vista aproximação com outros setores sociais, bem como outros espaços acadêmicos, tendo em vista uma compreensão da responsabilidade e compromisso social de sua profissão. A equipe organizadora foi constituída por seis discentes dos cursos de Química, sendo realizado o levantamento dos interesses dos licenciandos, por meio de um formulário online. Também foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com os docentes palestrantes e os discentes que assistiram às palestras. Além disso, também integrou o corpus da análise, os relatos dos discentes executores das atividades. Os resultados apontaram que o macrotema de maior interesse dos licenciandos foi “ciência, tecnologia e inovação” (24%), enquanto o macrotema “processos de globalização e política internacional” (0%) não despertou o interesse do licenciandos. A partir disso, foram organizadas oito palestras, presencial e remotamente.

Considering the difficulties that some new students at the University present to understand abstract concepts, this work describes an Extension Course, in the area of Cell Biology, which was carried out with the objective of contributing to the effective learning of a group of undergraduate students at the University Federal University of Vicosa (MG). The work also reports the importance of the experience lived for the graduate students who taught the Course. In the Course, diversified recreational activities were used, chosen according to the theme that would be approached. The results showed that the Course was very well accepted by the students, helping them to understand the contents, through a pleasant and accessible process, which enabled the construction of knowledge. For graduate students who taught the Course, the experience was unique and contributed to their professional training. Therefore, the experience was significant for everyone involved.

One of the biggest public health challenges worldwide - and especially its primary management of Primary Health Care - is the growing burden of preventable diseases. Thus, the present study aims to describe the health education actions carried out by nursing students about the importance of immunization in children under 5 years old and newborns. This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, carried out by nursing students and extension workers in the group ‘’ Vaccines: nursing performance’’ in the maternity ward and in the pediatric outpatient clinic. As a result, in addition to the feedback given by mothers and guardians of the children regarding the importance of people available in the service to clarify doubts, the relevance of this practice in the education of students is noticeable. This experience provides the extension worker, nursing student, with greater contact with users, playing a role attributed to their future training as health educators.

The objective of the project was to advise individual entrepreneurs, informal workers, self-employed, unemployed who were in doubt when requesting the emergency aid instituted by Law 13,982 / 2020. The project was developed using a digital whatsapp tool, whose objective was to maintain social distance to meet the recommendations established by the Federal, State and Municipal Government. A folder was prepared to publicize the calls, containing phone numbers and the names of the people who would provide the call. 254 people were served in a period of 40 days. The beneficiaries made the calls to the numbers available in the folder and presented their doubts. The main results of the service were clarifications on doubts of all kinds, such as assistance in filling out the registration form; assistance in accessing the “Caixa Tem” application; benefit request; assistance in creating the digital account

The outreach project entitled Week of Art and Culture was carried out in 2020 by teachers from the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC), Ararangua campus. It was the 5th edition of the project, being for the first time performed totally online due to the pandemic. This report of experience describes the pedagogical activities that were part of the event named alike, specially emphasizing the activities that culminated in the V Week of Art and Culture. Finally, perceptions about the project were presented as a positive experience in a pandemic time. Besides all the challenges, the activities of the project were successful and had a high number of participations, engagement of the community and satisfactory advantage of social formation.

The objective of this work is to analyze the contribution of agroecology as a form of production and struggle of rural workers living in the territory of the Joao Batista II settlement in Castanhal/PA. To this end, we adopted as a methodological procedure the elaboration of interviews based on a semi-structured script from the perspective of Brumer et. (2008) and informal conversations with farmers. Thus, it was observed that a remarkable characteristic in the interviewees' discourses was that for them agroecology is much more than a productive technique or a science, because it involves a variety of other dimensions, besides the management of a given agroecosystem, which allows us to conclude that the settlers have the agroecological process consciously internalized, understanding that the form of agroecological production enables benefits not only for themselves, but also for the entire social and environmental context in which they are inserted.

Resumo: Este artigo apresenta o relato de experiência do projeto de extensão Inclusão Digital para Adultos. O projeto teve como objetivo principal desenvolver a inclusão digital do educando, fazendo com que após sua inserção no mundo digital ele possa interagir com esse novo paradigma social, sentindo-se valorizado como indivíduo, realizando-se como profissional, contribuindo assim para a melhoria de seu contexto social, de acordo com a formação obtida por meio das oficinas práticas. O projeto desenvolveu, por meio de oficinas educativas e práticas, a inclusão do público específico a ser atendido, contribuindo assim para a aproximação da comunidade externa com o Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina - campus Tubarão. Ao final do projeto conclui-se que os objetivos foram alcançados. No total, foram atendidos 30 alunos.

O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar como os estudantes pré-universitários do Curso de Redação Gratuito ProEnem, promovido pelo Projeto Palestras Interdisciplinares e Oficinas de Produção Textual para o Enem (PROENEM), usam as estratégias argumentativas em redações dissertativo-argumentativas. Para darmos conta desse objetivo, a nossa base teórica está nos postulados de Perelman e Tyteca (1996), sobre as técnicas argumentativas, Fiorin (2018), em sua investigação sobre a argumentação, e Garantizado Júnior (2015), em seu modelo de análise e descrição do fenômeno argumentativo sob uma perspectiva textual e retórica. Para este trabalho, analisamos 25 redações produzidas por 25 estudantes pré-universitários da Turma 1 do primeiro módulo do Curso de Redação. Nossos resultados apontam que, após intervenção didática do ProEnem, as estratégias argumentativas de comparação, exemplificação, vínculo causal, e referência à autoridade foram mais adequadamente utilizadas nos textos produzidos pelos pré-universitários com os quais realizamos a pesquisa.
