This study aims to find the motivational dimensions of online learning and the relationship between these dimensions and student performance. Previous studies have studied and found many dimensions of student learning motivation. However, these studies, at least prior to the upcoming era of the covid-19 pandemic, focused on face-to-face learning contexts and not much on online learning contexts. Self Determination Theory (SDT) is used in this study. Data was collected using a questionnaire which was translated from the Motivational Scale based on SDT theory. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to analyze the data obtained from the student participants of the English Education Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. The results of this study indicate, first, that there are 3 dimensions or motivational factors for courageous learning: interest, usefulness, and perceived choice. These dimensions explain 69.141% of the measured motivation. Second, overall, these factors were significantly correlated with student performance, but not individually. These results were discussed in the context of SDT.

There are various factors affecting an English learner to be able to learn English successfully. These factors may influence one’s learning pace and difficulties. One factor that is often referred to in many studies is the learner’s belief. The diverse beliefs of English learners are often said to be an influential factor to their language achievement. Based on this notion, this paper makes an effort to prove the correlation between the students’ language beliefs and achievement. This study focuses on students of English Language Teaching (ELT) as the participants. The ELT students’ beliefs are concluded from the questionnaire adapted from Horwitz’s Beliefs About Language Learning Inventory (BALLI). Then, using the quantitative research approach, the results from the questionnaires are correlated to the students’ score of English proficiency test using Pearson correlation with SPSS 26. In the end, the result of the study shows positive beliefs by the ELT students. However, its correlation to language proficiency is not significant.

English proficiency test is significantly pivotal for tertiary students as they prepare for their after-school work-life experience. In this case, students are obliged to obtain fair knowledge of global issues but also local-based phenomena students may be familiar with on a daily basis. Besides, competency in English contributes to one’s acknowledgement in building a career or pursuing higher education. That is why many educational institutions in Indonesia require students to obtain a school-leaving English proficiency certificate. In regard to this phenomenon, designing English test materials that accommodate students’ needs in accordance with particularly required competencies is prominent. This present study further examines the test specification construction results developed as an initial study of a standardized English proficiency test implemented in a private university in Indonesia. As a part of research and development project research, this current study focuses on developing a prototype product of English test materials including the design of the test book. The product results of this study are elaborated in four stages of test materials covering two skills of English proficiency test.

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) has many activities, one of which is the Kampus Mengajar. This activity directly provides reinforcement to elementary and junior high school students related to strengthening literacy, numeracy, and technology adaptation. Although the Kampus Mengajar activities have run in three waves, the results of literacy strengthening have not been seen in real terms. This paper will examine the effectiveness of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program policy, especially for Kampus Mengajar activities in elementary schools. This research was conducted in five elementary schools used for the Kampus Mengajar program in Ponorogo Regency using qualitative research methods. The results of the implementation show that student literacy in elementary schools through the Kampus Mengajar program can be carried out well, but cannot run for long, meaning that the strengthening of student literacy will stop along with the completion of the program. Therefore, the suggestions given in this activity are (1) the existence of a policy for the sustainability of the Kampus Mengajar program, (2) the formation of a literacy community in schools, and (3) the need to strengthen literacy activities for teachers in schools

Economic growth in Indonesia cannot be separated from the development of micro-enterprises. One indicator that shows the development of a micro-enterprise is performance. The growth of micro-enterprises in Indonesia, especially in Pasuruan, is very rapid. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial support (entrepreneurship training, financial support, entrepreneurial marketing and entrepreneurial networking) on the performance of MSMEs in Pasuruan. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 150 SMEs in the food and beverage sector in Pasuruan. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the variables that affect the performance of MSMEs in Pasuruan are entrepreneurial networking, entrepreneurial training and financial support. The most influential variable is entrepreneurial networking with a loading factor of 0.556
