Resumen: Este trabajo presenta el sitio web del Archivo Digital Valle-Inclan/ 1888-1936 (www.archivodigitalvalleinclan.es). Esto es, el resultado final de un proyecto, inscrito en el panorama de los proyectos digitales de la literatura espanola de la Edad de Plata, que ofrece un modelo de archivo de autor, concebido no solo como biblioteca digital sino como un potente recurso de investigacion. En estas paginas se exponen las caracteristicas definitorias, acceso, diseno grafico y estructura de la interfaz web de esta innovadora plataforma digital, asi como casos practicos de consulta e investigacion. Este espacio cibernetico, consagrado a la obra y figura de Ramon del Valle-Inclan, ofrece en acceso abierto y gratuito el fondo bibliografico, documental, grafico e iconografico del escritor (4.500 documentos / 80.000 imagenes), aportado por el GIVIUS. Su recepcion ha sido excelente a tenor de las 50.000 visitas registradas en seis meses. Premio HDH2018 a la mejor herramienta digital. Abstract: This paper presents the website of Archivo Digital Valle-Inclan/ 1888-1936 (www.archivodigitalvalleinclan.es). This is the final result of a project, within the framework of digital projects on The Silver Age of Spanish literature, which offers an author archive model, conceived not only as a digital library, but also as a powerful research tool. Main features, access, graphic design and web interface of this innovative digital platform are presented on these pages, as well as some case studies of hypothetical query and research. This website is devoted to the life and work of Ramon del Valle-Inclan, and it offers an open and free access to bibliographical, documentary, graphical and iconographic files, provided by the GIVIUS (4.500 documents / 80.000 images). Resumen: El Otro, el Mismo. Figuras y discursos de la alteridad es el titulo del congreso internacional que la Asociacion Espanola de Semiotica y el Departamento de Comunicacion Audiovisual y Publicidad de la Universidad del Pais Vasco UPV/EHU celebraron conjuntamente durante los dias 13, 14 y 15 de noviembre de 2019 en Bilbao. Este monografico de la revista Signa recoge en el presente numero una seleccion de los trabajos presentados en dicho congreso. Contribuciones que en su conjunto analizan el concepto de alteridad desde muy variados angulos: la alteridad social, la alteridad interior y la representacion de ambas en las narraciones mediaticas, sean literarias o audiovisuales. Abstract: The Other, the Same. Resumen: Este articulo repasa primero las principales contribuciones teoricas al tema del personaje narrativo. Presenta luego una nueva propuesta teorica distinguiendo dos papeles (actantes / actores) y facetas (individuos / tipos) dentro de la categoria del personaje y en relacion con los tres estratos del texto narrativo (fabula-funcion, trama-accion y relatodiscurso). Por ultimo, esta propuesta teorica es verificada mediante el analisis del funcionamiento de tales papeles y facetas en los personajes narrativos de Tirano Banderas de Valle-Inclan. Abstract: This article first reviews the main theoretical contributions to the subject of the narrative character. It then presents a new theoretical proposal that differentiates two roles (actants / actors) and facets (individuals / types) within the category of character in relation to the three levels of the narrative text (story-function, plot-action and narrative discourse). Finally, this theoretical proposal is subsequently verified trough the analysis of the functioning of the narrative characters in Valle-Inclan’s Tirano Banderas.

Abstract: Between 1983 and 1989 J. Derrida dedicates four essays to the German word Geschlecht focusing on its difficult translation. The untranslatability of this word depends on its polysemy. To translate it, in fact, a long series of signifiers is necessary, including: sex, race, species, genia, genus, family, generation, genealogy, kinship, lineage, community. The idiomaticity of this word is an inextricable intertwining that does not consist in its ability to “stay for” different things depending on the contexts in which it is used, but in the ability to trigger the question of the relationship between identity and otherness.

Resumen: El articulo analiza Fotografias, poemario publicado en 2008 por Francisco Diaz de Castro, enfocando la atencion critica sobre los siguientes aspectos: la fragmentariedad del discurso, que se construye como reflexion en torno al presente historico, las relaciones entre el discurso poetico y la fotografia de reportaje y el dialogo intertextual con los grandes teoricos de la fotografia. Abstract: This article studies Fotografias, a collection of poems published in 2008 by Francisco Diaz de Castro. Its critical scope focuses on the following aspects: the fragmentary nature of discourse, which is constructed in the form of a reflection on the historical present; the relationship between Castro’s poetic discourse and reporting photography; and lastly, the intertextual dialogue that is established with the great theoreticians of the field of photography.

Resumen: Hannibal se presenta como un paradigma de las transformaciones que han sufrido las ficciones contemporaneas en los ultimos anos al introducir al otro, al villano, como protagonista del relato. La identidad del canibal se conforma mediante conceptos culturalmente contrapuestos y se situa en un continuo entre: entre el bien y el mal, entre la monstruosidad y la humanidad, entre el horror de los crimenes que comete y la estetizacion y el preciosismo de como los presenta, entre la recreacion de una exquisita alta cultura (gastronomia) y la animalidad y el salvajismo (canibalismo) que puntua todos y cada uno de sus episodios. Abstract: Hannibal is presented as a paradigm of the transformations that contemporary fictions have undergone in recent years by introducing the other, the villain, as the main character of the story. The identity of the cannibal is formed by culturally opposed concepts and is placed in a continuous between: between good and evil, between monstrosity and humanity, between the horror of the crimes he commits and the aestheticization and preciousness of how he presents them, between the recreation of an exquisite high culture (gastronomy) and animality and savagery (cannibalism) that scores each and every one of its episodes.
