Based on the fact that the longitudinal cracks occurring in the hollow slab bridge in practical using, this paper discusses the torsional rigidity changes after cracking, and finds out the general equation about the transverse distribution coefficient of the cracked hollow slab bridge. After analying the transverse distribution coefficient of the cracked slab, the change law of the transverse distribution coefficient is found. When the lane was arranged at the side of near the mid-span, the transverse distribution coefficient will become smaller, contrarily bigger. When the plate number is odd number and the crack occurring only in the mid-plate, then the transverse distribution coefficient will not change. Calculating the transverse distribution coefficient of an old bridge according to this theory, the result shows that the measured value fits the calculated value well, so the method of calculating the transverse distribution coefficient of the cracked hollow slab bridge is feasible.

The thermodynamic reactions in the hydration, phase change and hydrolyzation process of MgO-MgCl2-H2O system were studied in this paper. The results show that Cl− ion and pH value have significant influences on the phase stability of hydration products. In order to achieve a stable 5Mg(OH)2·MgCl2·8H2O(5-phase) and prevent it from transforming into 5Mg(OH)2·MgCl2·8H2O (3-phase), the dosage of MgCl2 in reactants should be controlled to avoid the existence of too many free Cl− ions in hydration products and the dosage of MgO should be increased to enhance the pH value of the system. Under the water curing condition, it is favorable to reduce the solubility of hydration products in water and maintain the stability of 5 phase that the pH value of solution is kept within a suitable range.

The Marshall Index of asphalt mixtures were remarkably affected by the gradation. Via controlling the pass percentage of key sieve size, the asphalt mixtures with high performance can be realized. In this work, the relationships between the usage between the adjacent sieve sizes and the Marshall Index (Marshall Stabilities and Flow Values) were studied for two kinds of gradations of screen size, AC25 and AC13. For each kind of gradation, according to the orthogonal test method, the usage of aggregate between the adjacent sieve size is changed to form 50 pieces of gradation for the Marshall tested with asphalt. The SPSS software was adopted for the regression analysis of the data. The results show that the key sieve sizes, which remarkably influence the Marshall Index of asphalt mixtures, are 0.075mm, 0.3mm, 0.6mm, 2.36mm, 13.2mm, 16mm, 26.5mm for AC25. In the case of AC13, the key sieve sizes are 0.3mm, 0.6mm, 2.36mm, other than only a sieve size of 2.36mm in the Chinese specification. Meanwhile, once the modified asphalt is used, the dependency of the gradation on the Marshall Index of asphalt mixtures becomes poor apparently. Therefore, great attentions should be paid to the design of gradation and the control of key sieve size for the conventional asphalts mixture design.

This paper presents a nonlinear analysis for the motion of equations proposed by Nakamura [8] to predict the lateral girder response induced by pedestrians on footbridges. The relationship between the lateral vibration of footbridge and the coefficients in Nakamura's model, including the rate of a pedestrian's lateral force, pedestrian density, rate of synchronized pedestrians, and pedestrians' attitude to large vibration amplitude, has been revealed, the simulation results demonstrate the validity of our theoretical analysis. The influence of the function to describe how pedestrians synchronize with the bridge natural frequency in Nakamura's model on lateral vibration of footbridge has been known. Our result shows that pedestrians are not always most likely to synchronize at the bridge frequency around 1.0Hz.

Kaolin has been modified with hydrochloric acid and calcination, and given a study on the adsorption of phosphate by modified Kaolin. The Results show that phosphate adsorption capacities of modified Kaolin were raised enormously. When P concentration is 20 mg/L, consumption of modified Kaolin is 2%(weight ratio), Amounts of adsorption of Kaolin modified with hydrochloric acid and modified with heating are 0.82mg/g and 1.98mg/g, respectively. Remainder concentration of P in water are 3.63mg/L and 0.12mg/L, respectively. Rate of removing of P were raised with amount of hydrochloric acid increase. Optimum temperature of heating modification is 500–600°C. Adsorption characteristics can be described with Langmuir equation.

Standing at the whole socio-economic level where the construction projects locate, this thesis took the construction projects as a compounding system of natural-social-economic and researched the apply of project management in sustainable development. First, from the respect of management object, project attribute, management goal, management organization and so on, it has compared the project management in sustainable development and the traditional project management; Next, it has discussed the goal system of the project management in sustainable development. The project management in sustainable development must achieve not only the basic goal (cost, quality and progress) of project, but also the social responsibility goal, the environment and development goal as well as the sustainable development, thus to solve the questions of environment and development and realize sustainable development; Finally, it proposed implementation process of the project management in sustainable development, and put forward several feasible advice on the management of projects.

In order to further understand the characteristics of natural-artificial turf, the research is focused on the analysis of the quality indexes of natural-artificial turf after mimic traffic processing, with the control group of natural turf. The result shows that, with the increase of the traffic intensity, the turfgrass height and above-ground biomass decrease gradually. Compared with the control group, the decreasing amplitude of natural-artificial turf, A2, A4, A6 and A8, is smaller. The density, texture and color of every group are all reduced with the increase of traffic intensity, and the control group A0 is influenced most, with the highest change rate. In the natural-artificial turf, the natural turfgrass is protected by the artificial turfgrass, which makes the turf quality more stable. And according to the result, A2 shows the poorest traffic tolerance, and there is no obvious difference between A8 and A0, and the protection effect is obvious in A4 and A6, which shows a high traffic tolerance of the natural-artificial turf.

Based on ZWT visco-elastic constitutive model and damage evolution of material submitting Weibull distribution, a damage thermo-visco-elastic constitutive equation is proposed. The model is applied by concrete and cement mortar material. Through the numerical fitting, the parameters of the constitutive model are obtained. The seismic capability of concrete filled steel tube (CFST) arch bridge is determined by the arch ribs. In this paper, the seismic capacity of arch ribs is evaluated by using the method based on the strength and ductility. First, the internal forces are calculated respectively by using finite element method under gravity action and small earthquake. Then, the ultimate bearing capacities, the ratio of ductility and reduction coefficient are obtained according to the failure modes. Finally, the acceleration of ground movement and seismic capability of arch ribs are obtained. Taking a CFST arch bridge as an example, the results show that the method is efficiency for evaluating the seismic capability of CFST arch ribs under earthquake and has important the reference value.
