It's crucial to predict soil displacement and stress variation accurately in shield construction of Shenzhen reclamation area. Citing shield tunneling on Hou-Ke section under the BinHai thoroughfare of Shenzhen Metro Line 2 as an example, authors forecasted the numerical simulation for the tunnel excavation with the software of FLAC3D, predicted the numerical tunnel exploration and made a research on the relationship between double-lane tunnel deformation as well as the changes of excavation stress field and surface sedimentation influenced by tunnel separation distance, depth, and shield tunneling parameter and other factors. Trough the comprehensive analysis of monitoring data, the authors reached conclusions that all the maximum value of surface accumulative sedimentation occurred near the longitudinal of medial axis, the peripheral stress was redistributed after tunnel excavation and the maximum principal stress concentration area of influence was limited.

In order to study crack mechanism in stress triaxiality and fracture design of structure steel, the fracture experiments and numerical simulations were performed on 8 Q345 notched bar. Test results showed that crack initiated at the edge of the hole and the minimum section of the notched bars, quickly propagating perpendicular to loading direction. And that had obviously shear fracture trace, the fracture plane was ductile rupture induced apparently by shear stress, Triaxial stress reaches maximum at most dangerous section thickness center point and the center of the location of the notch. Through the analysis of simulated fracture stress field to the bar with holes indicated that fracture strength of structural steel and stress triaxiality have close relations, Application fracture of stress field of regression analysis, the relation expression between the fracture strength and stress triaxiality is obtained. By taking the stress triaxiality σm /σe for basic physical quantity, further quantitative analysis show that structural steel fracture with the equivalent strain and fracture surface of the average stress triaxiality have close relations, based on regression analysis, get the corresponding relation curves.

The insulation layer thermal resistance and the soil characteristics around influence the characteristics of the temperature drop of waxy oil pipeline during shutdown. The temperature drop process of crude in the pipeline is a unsteady heat transfer problem with a moving phase interface while the wax precipitation, the properties of the crude depend on the temperature. The temperature drop process of the buried hot oil pipeline is simulated, it show that, for buried pipelines, the oil detemperature rate is slow down obviously because of the extending of the zone influenced by temperature drop with the shutdown time going, and the initial oil temperature has no effect on the size of the zone influenced by the temperature drop if the soil properties are well-proportioned. In addition, decreasing the soil rectangle solving area properly can reduce the amount of calculation while ensuring the results exactitude. The oil temperature profile in the pipe during shutdown process was studied. And with the shutdown time goes by, high temperature area which lie upper inside the pipe as the result of natural convection after shutdown would move adown gradually to the lower part inside pipe for buried pipeline.

The static and dynamic load tests are carried out on the bridge. The calibration is obtained when the deflection with static load and structure frequency with dynamic load are analyzed and are compared with finite element analysis results. Both strain calibration and deflection calibration meet the requirements of the relevant standards of the bridge engineer manual. The maximum deflection meets requirements of the Code for Design of Highway Reinforced Concrete and Prestressed Concrete Bridges and Culverts, it indicates that the T-beam bridge has more safety reserve. But the frequency of the site testing is bigger than that of loading test. That means the whole stiffness of the bridge is bigger, and can easily generate the phenomenon of resonance.

It is of profound society significance and urgently realistic value to replace Houses on stilt of residential building with the timber structure. The effect and characteristics of such concrete structures were analyzed by the finite element software of ANSYS and the conceptual design was submitted for the control of the internal force distribution and the weak part of the structures. That is of greatly referenced value to the industrial manufacture of the building.

Considering YuShenfu coal mining area, this paper uses the Gray correlation analysis method to analyze and select the 7 major factors which come from two aspects that are geological occurrence condition and coal mining design condition, on the basis of analyzing the formation mechanism of mining subsidence in the study area. And the five of seven which are disturbance coefficient, width-depth ratio, comprehensive hardness of overlying strata, subsidence factor, the ratio of mining depth and height were selected as key impact factors and they would be the evaluation indexes in the damage assessment behind. Then, this paper applies a new method, called polygon area method, to evaluate the mining subsidence damage. And the results are going to compare with results of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The results show that: first, in the YuShenFu mining area, 11 of 12 sample points reached a serious level of the mining subsidence damage, just only one reached moderate. So, the mining subsidence damage of Yushenfu mining area has been very serious on the whole, which consistent with the fact; second, the evaluation results based on polygon area method had a good identical to mature and reliable fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. It shows that polygon area method is stable and reliable; third, all of 5 evaluation indexes can obtain easily with the basic parameters of the geological and mining, additionally, polygon area method has several advantages such as clear physical meaning, comparability and simple, which show good convenience. The polygon area method will become a new method of the fast and accurate evaluation of mining subsidence damage in the coal mining area.

The Electronic Stability Control System (ESC) works through regulating the engine torque and the wheel brake pressure using traction control components to minimize the differences between the actual motion and the desired motion. The Adaptive Cruise Control System (ACC) is an active security technology. According to the previously setting parameters, by tracing the speed of preceding vehicle, ACC can adjust the traveling speed in order to maintain a security distance between an ACC-equipped vehicle and a preceding vehicle (vehicle pitch). This paper extends the ACC function on the basis of the standard ESC system, and simulates the vehicle modeling by the control variables of the side slip angle, the yaw rate etc.

Research on fault detection and diagnosis of variable air volume (VAV) air-conditioning systems is of great significance for energy conservation and stable operation of the air-conditioning systems. A fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) strategy using a hybrid method is presented for VAV air handling units in this paper. The Cumulative sum (CUSUM) control charts are used to detect faults in air handling units. The CUSUM control charts are used to monitor the temperature errors between the supply air temperature and its setpoint. Faults are detected when the CUSUM values exceed the chart limits. The fault detection method is robust enough to cope with the non-stationary characteristics of the VAV air handling units. Three rule-based fault classifiers consisting of expert rules and fault isolation algorithms are developed to isolate fault sources. The FDD strategy was tested and validated using in real time data from real VAV air-conditioning systems.

Heavy metal could be closed in crystal lattice of hydrate or absorbed in surface of hydrate by solidified disposal, which could be named Physical closed action. Physical or chemical action maybe destroy the integrality of hydrate induce the leaching of heavy metal when the solidified sludge was utilized or landfilled. The XRD was used to analyze the integrality of hydrate crystal after the solidified sludge crushed and the leaching test of heavy metal was carried out. The result shows that the physical closed action was valid when grain diameters of solidified sludge exceed 1.0mm though the integrality of hydrate crystal was damaged. But the leaching quantity of heavy metal would increase with the crushed degree increased.
