Loss minimization algorithm of an IPMSM based on analytical expressions 基于解析表达式的IPMSM损耗最小化算法

This report presents an algorithm for reference current calculation to minimize losses in electric vehicles with PMSM. The algorithm calculates the current set points explicitly through analytical expressions depending on the requested torque, the speed of the drive and the available DC voltage. The required machine parameters have been gathered from experimental data.

Enhanced torque control in a DFIG connected to a DC grid by a diode rectifier 通过二极管整流器连接到直流电网的DFIG中的增强转矩控制

This paper considers the control of a doubly fed induction machine (DFIG) connected to a dc-bus or dc-grid by using a diode rectifier placed on the stator-side and a single PWM converter on the rotor. In this system, the torque and the frequency have to be regulated simultaneously, in order to make the prime mover operating at the maximum power point and to guarantee at the same time a flux level near the rated value. Since this system is based on a unique reduced-power controlled converter and a diode rectifier, a noticeable reduction of the costs of the power electronics can be achieved. However, the diode bridge causes stator current and voltage harmonics which produce a noticeable torque ripple. A regulation scheme able to reduce the torque ripple is proposed in this paper: resonant current controllers are implemented to track the sixth harmonic components in the reference rotor current commands, in such a way to kill the corresponding harmonic in the electromagnetic torque.

An analysis into bridgeless inverted buck-boost PFC with ZVS capabilities 具有ZVS能力的无桥倒压升压PFC分析

This paper proposes a buck type PFC which is based on a new bridgeless inverted buck-boost circuit. The circuit can achieve ZVS for the full range via triangular current mode (TCM) and unlike conventional buck PFC, the circuit can operate for the entire cycle. The bridgeless topology has fewer numbers of components in the conduction path than any other bridgeless boost PFC circuits. The ideal full control is discussed and a simplified control is also proposed which has almost the same efficiency with a simulated peak value of ~97.5%. This circuit also exhibits an interesting property of higher efficiencies at low load conditions which could be of interest for SMPS for laptops and computers.

Voltage balancing control of AC-capacitor clamped multi-level matrix converter based on optimal switching status selection 基于最优开关状态选择的交流电容箝位多级矩阵变换器电压平衡控制

The matrix converter (MC) is an array of controlled bidirectional semi-conductor switches that allows direct ac-ac conversion without an intermediate dc link. To extend its future application, multilevel matrix converter can be a proposed solution due to its merits in multilevel output, high voltage application, high power conversion, improved harmonics issue and less voltage step, etc. This paper presents an improved voltage balancing control using utility function on a capacitor-clamped multilevel matrix converter; the improved modulation strategy based on amplitude coefficient is employed to improve the performance in terms of modulation precision. Simulations and experimental results from a small-scale experimental prototype are presented to validate the theoretical findings.

Inverter's characteristic analysis under different parameters of wavelet PWM technique 小波PWM技术在不同参数下的逆变器特性分析

This paper presents the principle and implementation of the wavelet PWM (WPWM) technique based on dyadic-type multi-resolution analyses (MRAs) for single-phase inverters, analyzes and gives the inverter's output features at different parameters based on WPWM technique, which is beneficial to choose suitable parameters. Finally, according to the harmonic eliminating principle, compares WPWM with SPWM technique by some specific examples. The calculation and simulation results show that WPWM can get simpler realization by digital algorithm, higher fundamental component magnitudes and lower THD factors, but the range of fundamental component magnitude is smaller and the ability of eliminating lower harmonics is worse, which provide theoretical basis for the application of the WPWM efficiently in practice.

Magnitude oriented intelligent grouping scheme for harmonics above 2 kHz 2 kHz以上谐波的幅度导向智能分组方案

The article touches the topic of processing the measurements of high frequency harmonics in power grids (above 2 kHz). Measurements in wider band do produce large volumes of data. But often not all of these need to be stored in their raw form for further analysis. This article discusses some adaptable possibilities of reducing the amount of data and proposes an intelligent magnitude-oriented scheme of grouping harmonics instead of the one defined in current standards.

Identification of magnetic characteristics of induction motors based on the Jiles-Atherton model 基于Jiles-Atherton模型的感应电机磁特性辨识

Precise estimation of flux and accurate modeling are of paramount importance for improving control performance in induction machines. Non-linearities limit the performance of control techniques, which in general assume linearity of the components. The paper proposes a procedure to identify magnetic saturation and hysteresis losses, which uses the available current and voltage measurements from the inverter and is based on the Jiles-Atherton theory. The theoretical achievements are tested on an experimental test rig, showing practical feasibility of the method.

Impact of PV string shading conditions on panel voltage equalizing converters and optimization of a single converter system with overcurrent protection 光伏串遮阳条件对面板均压变流器的影响及带过流保护的单变流器系统优化

Unequal irradiance of series connected PV panels in a string strongly decreases the output power of the PV system, as either PV panels are bypassed or operated below their MPP. By connecting balancing converters around each pair of adjacent PV panels, all panels can maintain the operation close to their MPP regardless of any mismatched operating condition. In this paper a balancing converter concept with ZVS is introduced and the operation of a string of PV panels equipped with balancing converters is analytically described. Based on this analytic framework, different examples of shading scenarios of a PV string are examined regarding the average inductor current values that occur within the balancing modules, in order to derive the required specifications of a balancing converter. Moreover, a two-level overcurrent protection concept is introduced which enables to keep all balancing converters within the safe operating area at all times, even at shading conditions with high mismatch. Furthermore, the design optimization of a highly efficient PV voltage balancing converter with a wide input voltage range is explained in detail and finally the concept is verified with measurement results of a demonstrator system.

Power semi-conductors are able to achieve switching transients within a few nanoseconds and possibly even faster. These fast switching transients will need to be measured and analyzed thoroughly. In this paper four different types of shunt constructions and installations are tested on the same power electronics circuit, giving widely diverse results. Interpreting and analyzing these measurement results will assist in developing accurate current measurement devices for fast switching transient power electronic converters of the future.
