Modeling and simulation of PWM based sliding mode voltage controller for Boost converter in continuous conduction mode 基于PWM的升压变换器连续导通模式滑模电压控制器的建模与仿真

SM control is a kind of nonlinear control which has been developed predominantly for the control of variable structure systems. Being a control method it has a high degree of flexibility in its design choices, the SM control method is relatively easy to implement as compared to other nonlinear control methods. The design procedure and mathematical modeling for the Boost Converter has been interpreted. In this paper the sliding coefficient for the controller has been selected based on fulfilling the hitting, existence and stability conditions. The controller equations for the selected bandwidth have been derived and modeled using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Design and implementation of anti-theft ATM machine using embedded systems 基于嵌入式系统的ATM机防盗设计与实现

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) security is the field of study that aims at solutions that provide multiple points of protection against physical and electronic theft from ATMs and protecting their installations. From anti-skimming defend systems to silent indicate systems, integrated ATM video surveillance cameras and ATM monitoring options, security specialists are ready to help the people get more out of the ATM security and ATM loss prevention systems. The implementation is achieved with the use of Machine-to-machine (M2M) communications technology. M2M communications is a topic that has recently attracted much attention It provides real-time monitoring and control without the need for human intervention. The idea of M2M platform suggests new system architecture for positioning and monitoring applications with wider coverage and higher communication efficiency. The aim of the proposed work is to implement a low cost stand-alone Embedded Web Server (EWS) based on ARM11 processor and Linux operating system using Raspberry Pi. It offers a robust networking solution with wide range of application areas over internet. The Web server can be run on an embedded system having limited resources to serve embedded web page to a web browser. The setup is proposed for ATM security, comprising of the modules namely, authentication of shutter lock, web enabled control, sensors and camera control.

Economic emission dispatch by modified imperialistic competition algorithm considering carbon capture power plants 考虑碳捕集电厂的修正帝国竞争算法经济排放调度

With the advent of carbon capture and storage technology (CCS), carbon capture power plant (CCPP) has become a vital part of modern day power systems. However, introduction of CCPPs in power systems has a significant impact on dispatch strategies as CCS consumes energy for their operation though they reduce emission. In this work a Modified Imperialistic Competition Algorithm (MICA) based solution procedure is proposed for solving multi-objective Economic Emission Dispatch problem (EED) in a power system with CCPP. A fuzzy set theory based selection method is adopted for selecting the best compromise solution out of a set of non-dominated Pareto solutions of EED problem. Proposed approach is implemented on a 6-generator test system. Results demonstrate the effects of CCPP on economy and emission of the system and effectiveness of MICA in handling multi-objective non-linear optimization problems.

A quantitative and comparative performance evaluation of PV models on PSPICE platform PSPICE平台上PV模型的定量和比较性能评价

Despite of the abundant resource potential and availability of conventional resources like oil and gas in many countries is moving toward the sustainable energy like solar power. Even though these country's has a substantial amount of installed capacity largely based on renewable energy like hydropower, but these resources yield fluctuates greatly during the drought season, forcing to rely on expensive emergency thermal units which again considerably affects the environmental balance but by implementing solar power resources substantial difference can be brought in the environmental circumstances. This paper presents simulation and study of PV cells using the generic model on PSPICE platform. Using PSPICE circuit simulator voltage and current variation can be verified under different a set of condition. Diode based models are used to conduct the studies which are classified on the basis of number of diodes. This paper provides a comparative behavioral study of different models under varying condition of temperature, diode parameter, solar insolation, and etc. This study helps in sketching out the performance evaluation under different circuit topology and control strategy.

A new idea of video coding using discrete sign coding DSC and motion compensation using Haar wavelet 采用离散符号编码DSC和哈尔小波运动补偿的视频编码新思路

Haar wavelet is the most tough statistical tool which has stimulated by many developments, mainly in the processing of signal and image. The important property of Haar wavelet is the multi-resolution. The major challenge in this video coding is motion management using HWT. Here we can reduce the expense during the storage of video data's and also reduce the bandwidth. A new method is introduced in this paper and a sub-band coding approach is also used that contains Haar Wavelet Transform (HWT) and it is related to a discrete sign coding known as DSC from wavelet. To avoid the problem created by the lack of invariance alteration, we use motion compensation (MC) technique. The output shows that the PSNR and clarity become good compared to other techniques.

Comparison of equalization techniques for an MIMO MC-CDMA system MIMO MC-CDMA系统均衡技术的比较

This paper presents the comparison of the performance analysis of various equalization techniques involved in an Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Multi-carrier (MC) Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) system. Multiple transmitting antennas and multiple receiving antennas are used by this system. Equalization techniques considered for comparison are Zero Forcing (ZF) and Zero Forcing with Successive Interference Cancellation (ZF-SIC). This comparison is simulated for a 2*2, 2*3 and 2*4 MIMO channel and simulation is done using MATLAB software. Bit Error rate is the estimation parameter taken into consideration for determining the efficient equalization technique for an MIMO MC-CDMA system.

Design & development of UWB notch antenna with fractal geometry 基于分形几何的超宽带陷波天线的设计与开发

This paper presents the design of coplanar waveguide fed ultra wide band Antenna with fractal geometry having frequency Notch characteristics. The designed antenna shows a dual band notch characteristic. For increasing bandwidth Sierpinski fractal is responsible, which is etched from the circular radiator. Elliptical type of slot responsible for creating notched band centered at 5.2 GHz for wireless local area network rejection has been used in this work. The RFID rejection band centered at 7 GHz is achieved by using a opposite U shaped fractal curve at feed line. Sierpinski fractal slot on the radiator has contributed to the resultant bandwidth of 1.8-11.5 GHz with VSWR<;2 by increasing the characteristics of matching at lower frequencies with an exception of two notched bands. A theoretical formulation to calculate the notch frequency is also validated.

Performance evaluation of single switch high frequency resonant power converter for alternative energy sources 替代能源单开关高频谐振功率变换器的性能评价

This paper investigates the performance evaluation of single switch high frequency resonant power converter for solar energy applications. The proposed resonant power converter integrates a single-switch with Zero-Voltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero-Current Switching (ZCS) by an energy-blocking diode. The converter enhances the energy conversion efficiency with less switching losses using single ended structure by achieving soft switching technique. The converter has been demonstrated under different operating modes with an equivalent circuit. Moreover, this converter is conveniently interfaced with Photo-Voltaic (PV) system for promoting the green energy. The sun radiates more photons which is more sufficient to meet the energy demand. But, solar energy has certain intermittency issues, not shining at night and also during daytime there may be cloudy or rainy weather and partial shadow effects which affects the performance of the system. But, due to this Partial Shading Conditions (PSC) there are multiple peaks and multiple steps in the Power-Voltage (P-V) & Current-Voltage (I-V) characteristics curve respectively. One way to enhance the systems performance is by operating the PV system at its Maximum Power Point (MPP). This can be achieved by incorporating a suitable MPPT control algorithm along with the converter circuit. Here, the Incremental Conductance (I&C) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithms have been developed and simulated under Matlab-simulink environment to track the Global Maximum Power Point (GMPP). The main issue in the Incremental Conductance is, struck with the Local Maximum Point (LMP) and it fails to track the GMPP. The simulated results show that the evolutionary technique based PSO MPPT overcomes the drawbacks of I&C algorithm where it tracks the GMPP effectively. The parameters of the PV module have been obtained from the manufacturer datasheet (MS24250) for these analyses.

Moreover, this converter is conveniently interfaced with Photo-Voltaic (PV) system for promoting the green energy. The sun radiates more photons which is more sufficient to meet the energy demand. But, solar energy has certain intermittency issues, not shining at night and also during daytime there may be cloudy or rainy weather and partial shadow effects which affects the performance of the system. But, due to this Partial Shading Conditions (PSC) there are multiple peaks and multiple steps in the Power-Voltage (P-V) & Current-Voltage (I-V) characteristics curve respectively. One way to enhance the systems performance is by operating the PV system at its Maximum Power Point (MPP). This can be achieved by incorporating a suitable MPPT control algorithm along with the converter circuit. Here, the Incremental Conductance (I&C) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithms have been developed and simulated under Matlab-simulink environment to track the Global Maximum Power Point (GMPP). The main issue in the Incremental Conductance is, struck with the Local Maximum Point (LMP) and it fails to track the GMPP. A high speed low power adder in dynamic logic base on transmission gate 一种基于传输门的高速低功耗动态逻辑加法器

Speed of operation depends on the longest critical paths in the multi-bit adders and also the MOSFET transistor gain which in turn depends on transistor size. The power consumption in MOSFET is depends on the switching frequency, sub threshold leakage and switching time. In this paper, author proposed the speed and area efficient transistor base adder using static CMOS pass transistor logic, and shortened the longest critical path to decrease the total critical path delay. The design simulation on microwind layout tool calculates the worst-case delay in nanosecond and total power consumption in microwatt range.

A secure multi-tier authentication scheme in cloud computing environment 云计算环境下安全的多层认证方案

Day by day users has been adopting remote storage system due to its secure service. But some time it may possible that people comes to know what security policy has been applied in server side. As the result, new security risks and attacks are coming in cloud. So, it is necessary to provide more secured and updated authentication scheme. For any cloud application, in which personal or private information are exchanged, single-tier authentication is not sufficient for authentication. In above situation, multi-tier authentication scheme is much more secured than single-tier authentication scheme. In computing environment, there are various multitier authentication schemes, but they do not provide security against insider attacks and virtualization attacks. In cloud environment, whole authentication control lies in the server side. So, it is hard to trust the third party server in cloud system. This paper proposes a secured and more advanced multi-tier authentication scheme for accessing cloud services.
