Identification of abnormility from digital mammogram to detect breast cancer 数字乳房x光检查异常对乳腺癌的鉴别

The breast cancer is diagnosed using many ways for past two decades. The Studies have proved that the early detection of cancer will increase the life span of the patients. The breast cancer detection requires double reading of mammogram by radiologist, hence the radiologist need to have support from CAD which includes different image processing techniques. We are in urge to improve the CAD systems that detects the abnormalities such as micro calcification, mass, etc. than existing. Firstly, This paper focus on the preprocessing which removes noise from the mammogram and it is followed by segmentation of the image which helps to partition the image and to identify the abnormalities which could cause cancer. The segmentation is made by OTSU's method which helps us further to classify the abnormalities from the normal.

Solving time-table scheduling problem by novel chromosome representation using Genetic algorithm 利用遗传算法求解新的染色体表示的时间表调度问题

This proposed research i.e. Time-Table Scheduling Using Genetic Algorithm with novel group based chromosome representation for educational institute having number of branches of Engineering. It is desirable to have no clashes of their lectures or laboratory sessions with each other. Using Genetic Algorithm designs highly optimize time table form randomly generated large size of population. keeping all above stated views in mind, our proposed system basically deals with the 2 department (IT/CP) of LIT college, Sarigam.

Power control techniques used in high frequency induction heating applications 高频感应加热应用中使用的功率控制技术

Resonant inverters are widely used in induction heating applications. Series Resonant Inverter (SRI) fed with voltage source is very much reliable, cost-effective and provides various power control techniques. Different power control schemes like phase shift control (PSC), asymmetrical duty cycle (ADC) control, asymmetrical voltage cancellation (AVC) control, pulse density modulation (PDM) control are normally used at SRI for high frequency induction heating. In this paper a new hybrid control technique by combining PSC and PDM is analyzed. The new control technique overcomes the drawback of individual scheme and provides a wide range of power control. The analyses of all the control techniques are verified through MATLAB simulation results.

Effect of CD logic on multiplier accumulator unit CD逻辑对乘法器累加器单元的影响

A high performance, Low power and high speed designs are always being important in VLSI. There are different logic families exist for an efficient performance of the circuits. The Constant Delay (CD) logic style is one of the efficient logics among the digital logic family. The complicated logic expressions in the digital logic families are implemented using this high performance energy efficient logic style (Constant delay). Multiplier Accumulator Unit is the most important component in applications such as Digital Signal Processing, Field Effect Transistors, and Finite impulse response filters. A high speed and energy efficient Multiplier Accumulator unit using constant delay logic is implemented in this paper, and the performance parameters such as power, delay and power delay product (PDP) are measured. The simulation is done using HSPICE tool in both 45nm CMOS technology and 32nm CMOS technology.

A survey on switching median filters for impulse noise removal 用于脉冲噪声去除的开关中值滤波器研究进展

Impulse noise is one of the major problems in digital image processing. Impulse noise can corrupt the images and also damage the fine details in the image. Different filtering algorithms are applied on images to remove the impulse noise that are present in image during acquisition. Corrupted pixels in image take either the minimum or maximum gray level. Image denoising filters are based on the median filter. Survey on Variants of median filters like weighted median filter, adaptive switching median filter, triststate switching median filter, modified decision based unsymmentrictristate median filter are discussed in his paper.

Efficient personal identification using multimodal biometrics 使用多模态生物识别技术进行高效的个人识别

For recent years, the use of personal identity systems using multimodal biometrics has been increasing tremendously in number of fields. Although the Unimodal biometric systems serve well in various areas, it is notable that they have disadvantages regarding security and accuracy. Multimodal biometric systems focus on combining more than one possible biometric technology in order to secure the applications to a great extent. This in turn resulted in the improvement of performance and robustness against fraudulent attacks. Personal identification plays a major role in any information sharing process. For this, the identification systems must be designed in such a manner that it should minimize the system error rates, susceptibility mimics and false match rate. Considering these factors, we aim at providing a new personal identification system using multimodal biometrics. The proposed system uses three of the biometric technologies in the process of identification: (i) Face recognition; (ii) Fingerprint recognition; and (iii) Speech Recognition. Here we discuss about the methods of feature extraction, fusion and decision used in our system and their advantages over other biometric systems.

Segmentation techniques for handwritten script recognition system 手写体识别系统的分割技术

Different scripts are used for writing purposes. It is very much important to identify/know these scripts before an appropriate character recognition algorithm is chosen. This paper deals mainly on the various segmentation techniques available for handwritten script recognition system. It is an important technique for image processing. Image segmentation provides meaningful objects of the image. Identification of a script in handwritten recognition system is really a challenging task in real world. Many researchers are indulged in the recognition of scripts from handwritten documents over four decades. This task becomes more and more challenging when it comes to multi lingual/script country like India. An input Image is preprocessed through various steps and segmented by different available techniques. This identification of script helps in optical Character Recognition systems (OCR).

Government of India accelerated the usage of solar energy in all the sectors. One such initiative, the government has taken subsided installations of solar powered pumps for agricultural purpose. This paper analyzes the impact of solar PV pumps installed in Govt. Subsidy. The beneficiary views and suggestions has also been reported. Also the experimental investigation on intensity with water yield is carried out and reported.

Comparative and analysis of various geometries with defective ground structured hexagonal patch antenna 地面结构六边形贴片天线各种几何形状缺陷的比较与分析

The aim of this work is to design a hexagonal microstrip antenna which operates for S-band i.e., 2-4GHz and is applied to wireless applications. The proposed antenna is composed of a poly tetra fluoro ethylene substrate material, hexagonal patch and a ground plane on which six triangular slots are etched just below the six corners of the hexagonal patch called as defective ground surface. This structure has two operating frequencies 2.9GHz and 3.2GHz which results with a minimum return loss of around -22.23dB at 2.9GHz and-31.65dB at 3.2GHz also good gain of about 7.39dB at 3.2GHz is obtained. It shows that hexagonal patch has better results compared with various patch geometries such as square, rectangle, circle etc.,. The design of hexagonal patch with DGS is analyzed using method of moment in CADFEKO. Finally few parameters of various geometries are compared.

Load balancing real-time periodic task scheduling algorithm for multiprocessor enviornment 多处理器环境下的负载均衡实时周期性任务调度算法

With phenomenal growth of distributed real time control system in high speed applications, the usage of multiprocessor system has become essential. In order to obtain performance benefits from the resources available in multiprocessor system, real time task have to coordinate and share resources to their maximum use. Load balancing amongst processors of multiprocessing system is one of the most important issues for task scheduling. The processors working on balanced load perform better compared to unbalanced load in terms of response time and resource utilization. Heat dissipation on individual processor is also reduced. In this paper, we propose an algorithm named LBPSA (Load Balanced Partitioning and Scheduling Algorithm) that offers load balancing amongst processors. The algorithm uses an upper threshold, a lower threshold and average utilization of processors for load balancing. Evaluations show that it offers good and almost stable load mean square error under all load conditions. Further the concept is enhanced to generalize it, so that it can be applied on other partition algorithm for incorporating load balancing.
