Prediction of signal data parameters in land-satellite communication links with fading 有衰落的陆星通信链路信号数据参数预测

The work considers effects of fading phenomena on signal data transmitted through the land-satellite communication links, accounting mostly for LEO satellite, as most complicated configuration of the satellite links. Based on the selected, among other statistical and physical, model of fading effects prediction the probability of fading phenomena in land-satellite communication links is analyzed for three cities in Israel, small, medium and large, and is compared with the results obtained by other authors above the Copenhagen, Stockholm and in England.

Energy efficient workload processing in distributed computing environment modeling 分布式计算环境建模中的高效工作负载处理

Global digital transformation requires more productive large scale distributed systems. Such systems should meet lots of requirements, such as high availability, low latency, reliability. However, new challenges become more and more important nowadays. One of them is energy efficiency of large scale computing systems. Many service providers prefer to use cheap commodity servers in their distributed infrastructure, what makes the problem of energy efficiency even harder because of hardware inhomogeneity. In this chapter an approach to finding balance between performance and energy efficiency requirements within inhomogeneous distributed computing environment is proposed. The main idea of the proposed approach is to use each node’s individual energy consumption models in order to generate distributed system scaling patterns based on the statistical daily workload, and then adjust these patterns to match the current workload, while using PCPB scheduling strategy to optimize hardware utilization. An approach is tested using Matlab modelling. As a result of applying the proposed approach, large-scale distributed computing systems save energy while maintaining a fairly high level of performance and meeting the requirements of the service level agreement (SLA).

The Method of the High Accuracy Finding 2D Coordinates in MIMO-radar Based on Existing Surveillance Radars 基于现有监视雷达的mimo雷达高精度二维坐标查找方法

The paper The work analyses the disadvantages of an existing monostatic radar and the advantages of MIMO radar systems in detecting a low radar cross-section of the smallsized aircraft. It was proposed to use several existing unidirectional surveillance radars as elements of a small base synchronous MIMO-radar system in order to improve the quality of detection air-crafts. This will increase the probability of detecting small-sized aircraft by exposing them to different angles of spatially spaced radars and using the property of the dependence of aircrafts radar cross-section on the direction of irradiation. In addition the MIMO-radar it is possible to improve the accuracy of the finding 2D coordinates while to surveillance the airspace. The calculation of the quality parameters of detection air-crafts is carried out by the method of mathematical model.

Method of adaptive complex Internet content filtering 自适应复杂互联网内容过滤方法

The method of adaptive filtering of Unique Resource Identifiers (URIs) in the complex Internet filtering systems is considered. This method reduces the average request’ processing time. The algorithm of the adaptive complex system of filtering unwanted content on the Internet is considered. The mathematical models of determining the total time of processing the input request and calculating the average delay time are considered. The software "Proxy Blocker" that is based on the algorithms that is described in this paper are considered. This software has a better quality of content filtering, and by optimizing the filtration process, it reduces the processing time for user requests. Simulation model of adaptive content filtering processes in the Internet that can quantify the effect of the implementation of adaptive filtering in real systems is considered.

Analysis of spatial and energy limitations on the influence of multipath factors in the VHF radio channel model VHF无线电信道模型中多径因素影响的空间和能量限制分析

The article is devoted to the description of the analytical model, which allows to take into account the influence of real terrain reliefs on the quality of communication in the channels of the developed VHF systems, to make recommendations on the most rational modes of their work. It is concluded that the final area of the route have a significant effect on the formation of reflected rays and that the receiver can be recorded only rays that have formed in a specific reflection zone. The forms of reflection zones are determined, which depend on the distance between correspondents, antenna heights, transmitter power, receiver sensitivity and other characteristics of a radio communication system.

Stripline Bandpass Filter with High Permittivity Dielectric 高介电常数介质带线带通滤波器

Miniaturized third order stripline bandpass filter (BPF) with high dielectric constant substrates εr = 92 and quasielliptic frequency response is proposed and studied. The filter uses steped-impedance resonators (SIRs), between them there are mixed couplings, which leads to the generation of two transmission zeros (attenuation poles) fz1 and fz2 located on opposite sides of the center frequency f0. To minimize the size of the filter, its resonators are separated from each other by small gaps of 0.2 mm. The problems of obtaining the minimum interval between transmission zeros fz1, fz2 and fo, as well as the symmetrical arrangement of fz1 and fz2 with respect to fo are considered. The measured and simulated responses of the stripline BPF with dimensions 5.8 mm × 4.2 mm × 2 mm and parameters f0 = 1.85 GHz, BW = 100 MHz are presented.

Traffic aggregation nodes placement for virtual EPC 虚拟EPC的流量聚合节点布局

The softwarization in the field of providing mobile communication services is outlined. The method of determining the binding of base stations to traffic aggregation points and their quantity in LTE EPC networks built based on NFV technology is proposed, which allows solving the problem of calculating the topology of EPC as a service, while taking into account the cost of organizing the service environment with minimizing delay and rational use of channels throughput capacity.

Models for Calculating the Reliability of IMS Operation When Introducing New Services on the Mobile Operator’s Network 移动运营商网络引入新业务时IMS运行可靠性计算模型

Today, Ukraine is actively working to implement 4G and 4.5G technologies on networks of mobile operators. However, due to inaccuracies in forecasting the development trends of this type of networks, a situation has arisen whereby 2G and 3G networks will be used to service all voice traffic for a long time. As the research results show, one of the necessary conditions for the normal functioning of networks of mobile operators is the introduction of IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) as the main element of the management level. One of the main requirements for the IMS system is the requirement for the reliability of its operation. Since the requirements for reliability are very high, their fulfillment is impossible without the use of reservation methods. Therefore, the paper discusses possible reservation methods for the IMS system. The main elements of the IMS system were determined, models for assessing the reliability of operation with various reservation methods were developed, and a comparative assessment was made.

In the article the problem of the method and algorithm optimization for the disclosure of the ambiguity of distance measurements in a multiposition radar system under the condition of ambiguous measurement of distance to the controlled object by each of the radar stations of this system is considered. This feature is determined by the use of modulating code binary sequences for secrecy and noise immunity. By criterion of optimality accepted the number minimization of possible options for selection when solving an integer task of ambiguity disclosure. A method and an algorithm are presented, the complexity of which in implementation does not depend on the number of radar stations in a multiposition system. It is shown that the probability of correct disclosure of ambiguity increases with an increase in the number of radar stations in the system.

Point seismic system for detection and recognition of moving person and vehicles 点地震系统用于移动人员和车辆的探测和识别

The paper presents the results of the development and research of a compact autonomous point seismic system for the detection and recognition of moving on the ground person and vehicles. The system design, seismic transducers, and controller of seismic signal processing, as well as characteristics of seismic signals from moving person and vehicles and their recognition algorithms are considered. As the tests showed, the developed system has the best parameters in comparison with analogues, which allows it to be successfully used both for reconnaissance purposes, and for the protection of various objects.
本文介绍了一种用于探测和识别地面移动人员和车辆的小型自主点地震系统的开发和研究成果。研究了地震信号处理的系统设计、地震换能器和控制器、运动人和车辆地震信号的特点及其识别算法。试验表明,与类似系统相比,开发的系统具有最佳参数,这使得它能够成功地用于侦察目的和保护各种物体。
