In the text, we identify what we call stages of a project that aims to be “innovative” of “scientific broadcasting documentary” organized in steps of a unique experience. The conditions of the case study are of a quasi-laboratory nature. The context is presented as that of an “agroforestry eco-archaeo-history” of the Mediterranean-peninsular settlement pattern. Instead of choosing a rationalist approach to reflect on the facts under discussion, we follow a Gabriel Garcia Marques approach to make common people experience the essence of what is at stake. But instead of a romance, we opt for choosing the strength of a space to explore, as can only be done on a tourist tour, placing the space (in the image of a character) at the centre of the narrative. The HFM space effectively tells a story that is radically different from the dominant narrative, and which makes sedentarization dependent on the so-called “cereal revolution”. In fact, this text seeks to describe a “conceptual journey”, in nine stages, deduced from our direct observation on the ground, complemented by several interviews with the actors mentioned in the text, covering around 6,000 years of settlement, in space of Herdade do Freixo do Meio (HFM), in Foros de Vale Figueira – municipality of Montemor o Novo, a property that allows to demonstrate the possibility of full sustainability (and viability) from all points of view, that is, from values based on the point of view of social, economic, demographic or ecological justice. The idealized tourist itinerary project (as a possible salable product) aims to amplify the remarkable work carried out at HFM, on the side of stimulating demand. This project aims to “help” publicize the collective action of actors in the agroforestry experience, and in this way, to consolidate itself, in turn, on the side of stimulating supply. Furthermore, in this consolidation of demand, a particular interest can be conceived from the study now proposed, as we think, analysing it from a third angle, that of its effectively “easy” repeatability across the interior territories of our country and not only.

It is a hypothetical position that employees in the hospitality industry in Ghana experience salary disparities based on the gender of the employee. Pay disparities exist because of unconscious biases in areas such as hiring, promotions, performance reviews, and salary decisions. In ensuring equal pay for equal work to fulfill the International Labor Organization (ILO) convention, this study investigated the internal equity pay of the employees in Ghana's hospitality industry based on equal work. This quantitative association study adopted a self-constructed research instrument to measure internal equity pay and randomly selected 350 respondents in the hospitality industry in Ghana to answer the research questionnaires. The respondents were made up of 160(46%) males and 190(54%) females. In looking for the significant difference of gender as related to internal equity pay of the employees in Ghana with a T'Test analysis, the study revealed that, indeed, there was a significant difference in the salary payment of the employees in Ghana. The males were paid more than the females for equal work. Therefore, the study rejected the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference in internal equity pay based on the gender of the employees in the hospitality industry in Ghana. To ensure equal pay for equal work, the management and shareholders of hospitality firms in Ghana are recommended to seek knowledge of the legal requirement of this principle in the Ghana Labor Law and also become compliant with the ILO convention. Furthermore, a conscious effort must be made to ensure equal pay for equal jobs.

Families composed of a male and a female that breed and jointly raise children is the consensual living frame of human societies during thousands of years. However, there are other frames among mammals, that enable breeding and multiplication without preservation of a familial unit. For example, males that fertilize females and do not participate in raising the newborns (e.g., hyenas, leopards, certain humans), or males having a few females and raising a larger number of children (the Arabic tradition), or on a broader scale in the animal kingdom, males that fertilize eggs outside of the female body (e.g., various fish species among vertebrates and many invertebrate species) without any considerable responsibility thereafter. Although females raise instinctively their offspring׳s among most animals, we witness in recent years different human versions of familial frames, such as two males, who either adopt children, or provide sperm to an anonymous woman that is paid for her pregnancy and birth of a child handled to the sperm contributor. Likewise are familial frames of two women, in which one gets pregnant from a sperm contribution, and after birth, both raise the child. These new trends show how deviation from the traditional familial frame may enable women to give birth and raise children without the involvement of males, as well as lead to ‘in vitro-fertilization’ and ‘production’ of ‘tube-babies’ (outside of the female uterus). Further attempts to control the required gender (e.g., preference of males in China), or even specific traits (e.g., blond hair, blue eyes) using genetic engineering techniques, might replace the customary familial frame.

The aim of this research is to determine how workload and the perception of organizational support impact job satisfaction, as well as how work-life balance acts as a mediating variable in the Shared Services Function of PT Pertamina (Persero). The research strategy employed by the author is quantitative in character, as it is grounded in concrete, objective, quantifiable, logical, and methodical data. Because it contains samples from every permanent employee of PT Pertamina (Persero) as well as from the whole population of the Shared Services Function, the study's sample is known as a saturated sample, or full population. 321 individuals make up the entire population sample. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is a data analysis methodology that was employed in this work to solve the limitations of the regression method. The Partial Least Square (PLS) software application is used in this study's analysis to process the data. Variant Based Structural Equation Modelling is then used to test the hypothesis and provide a viable model. The results showed that workload had a negative and significant impact on job satisfaction in the SS Function of PT. Pertamina (Persero). Job satisfaction with SS Function PT. Pertamina (Persero) is positively and significantly impacted by employee perceptions of organizational support. In SS PT Function Pertamina (Persero), work-life balance is adversely and significantly affected by workload. The perception of organizational support has a favorable and considerable impact on work-life balance, as per the SS function of PT. Pertamina (Persero). Work-life balance and job satisfaction have a somewhat positive association in SS Function PT. Pertamina (Persero). Work-life balance makes it possible for employee happiness at PT. Pertamina (Persero), an SS function, to be indirectly impacted by workload. The SS function PT. Pertamina (Persero) believes that work-life balance has an indirect effect on satisfaction through organizational support.

The objective of this article is to highlight the reality of unorthodox commercial practices in markets, by local vendors of the informal sector in Africa. An in-depth analysis of a sample of twenty-four (24) petty traders reveals that these traders use both common sense, by developing proximity to their market, and the mystical dimension of their cultural era, to achieve their commercial performance objectives. In so doing, they perceive this mystical dimension as being effective in attracting customers, building customer loyalty and making their business more competitive.
