Cassava peel waste and cow dung in the Pendawa I Farmer Group, Candi Rejo Village, Sibiru-biru District, are managed into compost which can be reused for cultivated plants. However, it is necessary to analyze the chemical characteristics of the compost produced by good compost according to SNI 19-7030-2004. The purpose of this activity is to determine the chemical characteristics and SEM analysis of compost made from cassava skin waste and cow dung produced by the Pendawa I Farmer Group. carried out for 4 weeks. The materials used were 100 kg of cassava skin waste, 200 kg of cow dung, water, molasses, and enough EM4 as an activator. Parameters observed included compost pH, total N (%), total P2O5 (%), K2O (%), C-organic (%), CEC (me/100), compost moisture content (%), C/N ratio, and micronutrients which include Ca (%), Mg (%), Fe (%), Mn (%), Cu (ppm) and Zn (ppm). As well as SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) analysis with 2500x magnification. The results of compost analysis show that the final chemical characteristics of the compost have pH (6.50 : neutral), N-total (1.37% : very high), Total P2O5 (0.48% : very high), K2O (0.25% : high), C-organic ( 25.06% : very high), CEC (125.05 me/100 : very high), compost moisture content (20.15%), C/N ratio (18.29), Ca (0.10%), Mg (0.30%), Fe (0.97% ), Mn (0.09%), Cu (7.43 ppm) and Zn (46.64 ppm). Based on the results of laboratory analysis, the results of the chemical analysis of the compost are by following SNI 19-7030-2004 so that farmers in the Pendawa I Farmer Group can continue to produce the compost.

The low level of scientific publications in the academic environment is inseparable from limited interests and skills. Efforts are needed to strengthen insight, methodological knowledge, and skills. Students as an integral part in the development of knowledge, are expected to have high interest and motivation in conducting research. So far, the research produced by students has not shown a significant trend. Various causes of problems arise, starting from limitations in formulating ideas, preparing proposals, submitting proposals, determining publications and motivating students to carry out research. It is important for students who are members of the commissariat of the Islamic Student Association of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of North Sumatra to be given training in strengthening research knowledge and training in organizational development. The objectives of the training activities include; First, strengthening research insights and assisting in strengthening research problems. Second, training on how to prepare research proposals. The use of ICT has penetrated into various sectors including in the field of government at the village level, both in village information management as well as village-owned businesses in the form of Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes). Efforts to run BUMDes in a professional manner have not been carried out properly due to limited human resources in managing BUMDes especially the use of ICT in efforts to increase BUMDes income. This is experienced by BUMDes Liang Muda Village. The method of implementing community service activities consists of problem analysis, website analysis and development, website testing, socialization and training on website use, evaluation and exchange of opinions. The community service team facilitates the creation of village websites and provides assistance to village officials in managing and utilizing it for information dissemination and village promotion. The existence of a village website for the needs of BUMDes can facilitate the dissemination of information in the village so that it can be known by the wider community. Development of a website follow the development of the situation can be carried out in the future to support the BUMDes of Liang Muda Village so that it can be used to help the village community's economy.

Children are individuals under the age of 18 years with significant physical and mental growth and development. But, in fact, this growth and development cannot be achieved perfectly. Based on the survey results, several factors are the causes of the child's optimal growth and development, such as economic factors, the level of knowledge and education of the mother. If examined, this factor is closely related to family poverty factors. Not only that, the data related to children's mental health is also almost non-existent, so that children not only face problems related to physical problems, but also problems related to psychological disorders. Therefore, it takes an intervention that can be done on children in optimizing physical and mental health. In this case an approach is needed in the form of school-based intervention in organizing a program for examining the physical and mental health of children. Program implementation has been carried out at the Tahfidz Plus Khoiru Ummah School, at the kindergarten level (17 children) and elementary school (30 children, grade 1-5 elementary school) by coordinating with school teachers who are responsible for each class. The first action taken was a physical examination for all kindergarten and elementary school children. Based on the results of the physical examination, there is no abnormality on the child's health scale. Child health problems found only with flu and cough problems. To overcome this, children have been taught related to health promotion in an effort to prevent disease by demonstrating proper hand washing, proper toothbrushing, wound care and diarrhea. For a physical examination of mental health, screening is done by inviting children to talk about their daily lives during a physical examination while identifying other symptoms outside the instrument checklist. There are 2 instruments used in children's mental health screening, namely Early Childhood Screening Assessment which will be used for kindergarten children and instruments for Social, Academic & Emotional Behavior Risk Screener for elementary school children. Based on the results of temporary screening, there was only one elementary school child who needed further treatment and needed more accurate discussion with the class teacher at the next meeting.

Background: Basic life support is an emergency action that can be done by ordinary people to free the airway, help to breathe and maintain blood circulation without using aids. Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) is a knowledge and skill because if you only know the theory without doing training or practice, then the motivation to help becomes lacking and mentally untrained when dealing with real events. Purpose: To determine the level of knowledge of students and staff of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Azhar Asy Syarif Islamic Boarding School Deli Serdang about BLS. Method: The design used in this study is a cross-sectional method. Data collection was in the form of a questionnaire containing questions about BLS training. Questionnaire collection was carried out twice, namely the pretest which was carried out before the BLS material and training were given by the instructor and the posttest which was carried out after the BLS material and training were given. Results: Respondents' post-test scores obtained fewer values, 5 respondents (4.24%) had enough values, and 113 respondents (95.76%) had good scores. It was found that respondents got quite a good score after training on BLS. Conclusion: Based on the level of knowledge of students and staff at MA Al-Azhar Asy Syarif Islamic Boarding School Deli Serdang about BLS, it is included in the good category.

Cassava (Manihot utilissima) is a local food commodity that is widely cultivated in Indonesia. The advantages of this plant are rich in carbohydrates, long harvest range, capable of producing in less fertile or infertile soils. However, cassava peel waste is still rarely processed into more useful products. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the utilization of cassava peels into innovative products by conducting counseling and training in the manufacture of processed body scrubs with cassava peels as a base material to utilize regional natural resources into products with higher economic value, especially in the Serasi Jaya Village Farmer Group. The people's glare is located in Sei Rampah District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra. The method of service activities is carried out by lectures and demonstrations/training. The results of this activity were very satisfying because participants were able to make and use cassava peels into innovative products, namely body scrubs which were useful as skin care cosmetics so that they could help improve the community's economy
