Physiotherapy may aggravate the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis. Physiotherapy accessibility and possible barriers in persons with MS are not very well known. Multiple sclerosis is a chronic degenerative and inflammatory disease of the central nervous system. This mainly occurs in early adulthood. Almost 2 million people are affected worldwide by this disease. Disease-Modifying treatments are very essential to minimize the damage and the loss and still, there is no specific treatment for multiple sclerosis. The drugs that better the clinical symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis are very rare. Therefore these symptoms should be managed with symptomatic forms of therapy like occupational and physical therapies. Physiotherapy is recommended for the treatment of multiple sclerosis symptoms

Objective: To explore the law and distribution characteristics of acupoint sensitization among the IBS patients with meridian theory and graph theory, for further understanding of acupoint sensitization in clinical practice. Methods: For mathematical modeling, achieve the acupoints and their indications of diseases in the classic books of acupuncture and moxibustion. Establish the acupoint-indications network based on the graph theory and record the topological parameters such as clustering coefficient, vector centrality, etc. For the clinical trial part, the method of cohort study was adopted to include the patients meeting the diagnostic criteria of IBS, and the acupoint sensitivity data was measured through body meridian energy system. The topological indexes obtained by mathematical modeling were introduced to calculate the weighted average of topological parameters of the Yuan point, so as to further analyze its correlation with the disease and compare with the traditional analysis methods. Results: 1. Acupoint - symptom complex network of acupuncture and moxibustion classic books all show "small world effect", among which acupoint nodes' close centrality and feature vector centrality indexes present acupoint specificity, which can be used as acupoint weight index for weighted average algorithm; 2. The original point resistivity abnormality rate of patients with diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome was 40.71%, and that of healthy subjects was 29.49%.The resistance of patients with irritable bowel syndrome was higher than that of healthy subjects. 3. Based on the weighted average algorithm of intermediary centrality or eigenvector centrality, the weighted average of topological parameters of primary point resistance in patients with diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome was higher than that of healthy subjects. Conclusion: 1. Having "small-world effect" may be one of the topological characteristics of acupoint-symptom complex network; 2. The increase of skin primary point resistance in patients with IBS-D is a manifestation of acupoint sensitization; 3. Acupoint Hegu( LI4) sensitization on behalf of the large intestine meridian is one of the specific manifestations of primary acupoint sensitization in patients with diarrhea irritable bowel syndrome; 4. It is a feasible attempt to study and express the law of acupoint sensitization based on graph theory.

There’s been urgent need for therapeutic counter measure for rapid developing virus for controlling the outbreak, first case of Covid was firstly seen In December, from then there are variable attempts to get and generate suitable vaccine in labs. The fastest vaccine trial had been done is corona vaccine with large trials, vaccine made by Pfizer and Biotech have done firstly tested immunization and got approved for vaccine for emergency use. From years there been trials going on related to corona virus which causes SARS – severe acute respiratory syndrome and efforts have paid off spectacularly

One of the common techniques used to identify unknown mutations is single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP).SSCP is used frequently because the technique is simple, fast, sensitive and reproducible. It has been frequently reported that it is very easy to establish this technique with minimal infrastructure and expenditure. This short communication presents the basic principles of SSCP and possible troubleshoots of standardization of this technique in the lab.

Effects of blood exposure, increased catecholamine levels and inflammatory mediators on brain microvascular endothelial cell integrity in vitro 血液暴露、儿茶酚胺水平升高和炎症介质对体外脑微血管内皮细胞完整性的影响

Introduction: Recent studies have suggested the impact of increased catecholamine levels CAT and inflammatory mediators INF on blood on the integrity of the blood brain barrier (BBB), especially when occurring in combination with hemorrhagic stroke, a situation frequently observed in Taktosubo syndrome TTS. We investigated the possible effects of these stressors on the brain microvascular endothelium in vitro. Methods: As an in vitro model of the BBB we used an immortalized murine microvascular endothelial cell line from the cerebral cortex (cEND). The cEND were treated with medium or patient blood containing supraphysiological concentrations of stress factors such as catecholamines, TNF-α and Interleukin-6 as characteristically elevated in patient blood  suffering from acute takotsubo syndrome TTS. We investigated the impact on monolayer integrity and cellular morphology by light microscopy and immunofluorescence staining. Furthermore, alterations of representative tight and adherence junction proteins as well as integrins were determined by RT-PCR and/or Western Blot. Results: After stress factor/ patient blood treatment, reduced viability of brain capillary endothelial cells in vitro was observed. This was concomitant with a disruption of cellular monolayer integrity and changed localisation of BBB-forming tight junction proteins as determined by real-time RT-PCR (qPCR), western blot and immunofluorescence labeling. Monolayer integrity was moreover determined by measurement of transendothelial electrical resistance. Conclusion: Cellular monolayer integrity and the expression of proteins forming the BBB are clearly affected by exposure to patient blood, catecholamines CAT and inflammatory mediators INF, respectively. Most of barrier proteins are downregulated, so a negative impact on brain endothelial cells forming the blood-brain barrier can be assumed.
