Incidencia del duelo en la ruptura amorosa en estudiantes universitarios en un Centro de Crisis, Emergencias y Atención al Suicidio (CREAS) 在危机、紧急情况和自杀护理中心(CREAS)的大学生中,悲伤对分手的影响

The loving couple is the union of two beings that live intertwined steps through time, which determine the degree of intimacy and rapprochement. This relationship will be affected by the previous experiences of each one and by expectations they have about the relationship. Because it is an interaction between two individuals with different personal characteristics, there is the possibility that the relationship enters into conflict and fractures, breaking the bond of love, creating suffering. The purpose of this paper was to determine the incidence of breakup as the main reason of consultation at CREAS among a sample of college students of different schools. We also suggest techniques that therapists can use when working with students that request psychotherapy services. The results showed that 59.615% students reported a breakup as the main reason for consultation. Of this total, 46.923% were women and 12.692% men. 66.538% belong to the school of psychology. Findings may be related to the fact that psychology students have greater sensitivity to solve their problems. It is suggested to emphasize training in coping styles and problem solving from the cognitive-behavioral model.

Resiliencia, recursos familiares y espirituales en cuidadores de niños con discapacidad 残疾儿童照顾者的复原力、家庭和精神资源

The disability of a child is a condition of life that produces a constant emotional stress and influences family interaction, generates changes and crises in family functioning and roles. Therefore, the importance of identifying resilience, family and spiritual resources that positively promote the coping of disability. The present study identified the type of correlation between resilience, intrafamilial relationships and spiritual resources in primary caregivers of children with a neuromusculoskeletal disability who attend the Children's Rehabilitation Center Telethon (CRIT) Michoacán. A total of 154 primary caregivers participated, mostly women (85.7%), who answered three instruments: the Spiritual Resources Scale, the Intrafamily Relationship Assessment Scale (ERI) and the Resilience Measurement Scale with Mexicans (RESI-M). Contrary to what was hypothesized, no significant differences were found between the different disability groups, which indicates an homogenous profile of the primary caregiver, this profile presents positive intrafamilial relationships, of union and closeness among the family members. The family environment is perceived cordial and affectionate. Finally, it is suggested to create intervention programs to strengthen family support, encourage participation and involvement of different family members, with the purpose of reducing the stressful, physical or emotional strain, that a single primary caregiver lives.

Prevención de burnout y fatiga por compasión: evaluación de una intervención grupal 倦怠和同情疲劳的预防:小组干预的评估

The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of a group intervention designed to reduce symptoms of burnout and compassion fatigue. By non-probabilistic sampling 24 volunteer participants, 21 women and 3 men (mean age 43.5 ± 7.9) were recruited, they played managerial functions in organizations that give services to vulnerable population. By quota sampling, 3 independent therapeutic groups were formed with 8 participants each, a package of instruments was used to measure burnout, compassion fatigue, depression and anxiety at 3 moments: baseline, post-treatment and follow-up at 3 months. The intervention was preventive and with 2 axis: one therapeutic (interpersonal group therapy with cognitive behavioral components) and another psychoeducational; it was implemented by the author through 20 biweekly sessions of 3 h each, plus an additional follow-up session. There was a significant decrease (P < .05) in symptoms of emotional exhaustion, depression, burnout and anxiety, a change that remained stable for the 2 first variables after 3 months. In conclusion, the group intervention was efficient and specific to reduce key symptoms of burnout in professionals who experience high levels of work stress.

Deseo sexual en jóvenes de la Ciudad de México: amor vs. placer 墨西哥城年轻人的性欲:爱与快乐

The aim of this study was to explore the way young people identify and interpret sexual desire in relation to pleasure and love. Consideration is given to Construccionism and the gender perspective as theoretical-epistemological references and for the analysis of information. The sample consisted of 4 men and 6 women from 18 to 22 years of age, studying at high school and university in Mexico City. According to the theoretical review on sexual desire was approached as a subjective experience, we worked through semi-structured interviews as life stories. Through this qualitative tool we obtained data about how young people experience and interpret the experience of sexual desire from the recognition of their bodily sensations and masturbation as an option. The results obtained show different perceptions between men and women in relation to the experience of sexual desire and its relationship with love, as well as the relationship they have with their own body.

Evaluación del desempeño docente en Yucatán: un análisis a partir de las características de los docentes yucatan的教学绩效评价:基于教师特征的分析

Based on the Integral Reform of Basic Education in Mexico, teacher evaluation processes is regulated by the General Law of Professional Teaching Service, which establishes mechanisms for entry, permanence, promotion and recognition within the Professional Teaching Service. Like a high impact evaluation, is essential to analyze the variables that could help improve their performance. The purpose of this article is to describe the results of the teachers who supported the performance test for Basic Education in the 2015-2016 school year in the state of Yucatán, based on personal, professional and contextual characteristics. The results obtained show that educational practice is a complex phenomenon in which diverse variables converge to achieve educational quality. These results are discussed under the similarities and differences with national and international research in the field.

Positive emotions, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and social support as mediators between emotional intelligence and life satisfaction 积极情绪、自尊、人际关系和社会支持在情绪智力与生活满意度之间起中介作用

This study aims to identify the mediation function of the variables of positive emotions, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and social support between emotional intelligence and life satisfaction. This is the first study that analyzed, with Latin-American population, the mediating effect of these variables in a simultaneous manner. The sample was comprised by 417 Mexican youth, ages between 18 and 21 years old, that completed the TMMS-24 scale and some subtests of the WHOQOL100. The results of the structural equation modeling showed that emotional clarity plays a predictive role over positive emotions and self-esteem, while emotional repair influences positive emotions and a greater satisfaction with interpersonal relationships. In the same manner, positive emotions, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships together are those that contribute with 50% of the variance for life satisfaction.

The objective of the present study was to assess if there are different levels of cortisol in university workers according to their position in the institutional hierarchy. Based on previous studies, which found in primates and humans that subordinate individuals have more cortisol than dominant individuals in stable societies and in a situation without stressors in the environment, we sought to replicate these studies in the context of a university. The participants were 144 employees, 89 men and 55 women, who were executives and leaders, middle managers and operating personnel. Two salivary samples were taken in the afternoon with a 30 min interval and averaged. The results showed that middle managers have higher levels of cortisol that leaders, but these in turn have more cortisol than the operating staff. Discussed on how the institutional social interactions and the dimension of power in these interactions, regulate the stress levels of individuals working in this context. Comments are concerning to some of the methodological implications for this kind of measures, as well as its practical implications.

The participants were 144 employees, 89 men and 55 women, who were executives and leaders, middle managers and operating personnel. The results showed that middle managers have higher levels of cortisol that leaders, but these in turn have more cortisol than the operating staff. Discussed on how the institutional social interactions and the dimension of power in these interactions, regulate the stress levels of individuals working in this context. Software development to increase coping skills in adolescents 提高青少年应对技能的软件开发

Non-suicidal self-injure behavior, depression and anxiety can be reduced by some variables as coping skills; for the treatment based on these skills is proposed the use of a software based on HyperText Markup Language, version 5 for different platforms as mobile systems and personal computers. The software is developed in the form of social interaction, in order to support the assimilation of these cognitive constructs in the adolescent population. Furthermore this program can be used as a teaching instrument for students of psychology which can facilitate understanding of skills and symptoms that the software takes into account. This article describes the development of coping skills enhancement software (SAHA Spanish acronym) based on traditional cognitive behavioral techniques for the reduction of negative thoughts and feelings, increased use of coping strategies focused on the problem, and reduction of thoughts related to Self-harm. The development takes into account review of cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, script, art design, programming, 3d modeling, edition, among other actions. As a result we obtained an application for the increase of coping skills that can be used in different operating systems.

Presentación de las tareas, satisfacción de las necesidades psicológicas básicas y bienestar en atletas universitarios 大学运动员的任务呈现、基本心理需求的满足和健康

Based on the basic psychological needs theory, in the present study a model was tested in which the task presentation is antecedent to satisfaction of basic psychological needs, and this, in turn, psychological wellbeing in university athletes. Participants were 468 college athletes (302 male y 166 female), aged between 17 and 28 years (M = 19.2; SD = 1.89) that completed the questionnaires tapping the variables of interest. Results of structural equation analyses informed that task presentation was a positive predictor of satisfaction for competence, autonomy and relatedness; satisfaction of the 3 basic psychological needs were positively associated with subjective vitality. Satisfaction of the 3 basic psychological needs mediated the path from task presentation to well-being in university athletes.

Spanish literature and well-being: The case of Chinese students in Spain 西班牙文学与幸福:以在西班牙中国留学生为例

Chinese students who study abroad have to face with many added life stressors compared to those who remain in China. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that the use of literature is an important didactic tool in the teaching of foreign language.

This study analyzes the experience of a group of 66 Chinese university students (87.9% women, mean age = 23.45 years, SD = 1.303) who have come to Spain to study Spanish as Foreign Language. Well-being, life satisfaction, engagement, attitude and appreciation concerning Spanish literature were assessed quantitatively. Happiness was assessed through a qualitative approach.

Results show that student's happiness is linked to family well-being. Students were more engaged while studying in Spain. Students showed greater personal growth and independence while they were in Spain; although they had less interpersonal relationships while living in Spain. Social well-being was higher while they were in China. A relationship between attitude toward literature, engagement, satisfaction with life and psychosocial well-being was found.

The main conclusion is that well-being and happiness of Chinese students are variables that are affected by the change of country. Literature and its way of teaching have an important role in the enhancement of engagement, life satisfaction and well-being.
