Excessive traffic and the need to move around have created social, infrastructure, time and coverage problems due to the value currently provided by urban transportation. The objective of this study is to analyze the incidence of public transportation in the DMQ according to the variable considered geographically and the way in which it affects fuel consumption. Through a descriptive analysis of the factors that affect fuel consumption, data was collected from three transportation routes, each with different geographic characteristics to determine an average consumption in each route. The fuel consumption of route 3 (Ofelia/Marín) was determined to be adequate according to the study, where route 3, with its geographic conditions and greater distance compared to the others, has an ideal driving performance close to constant speeds. It is concluded that fuel consumption is affected by the type of driving of the vehicle as well as the geographic conditions present in the DMQ, however, the percentage of profit of each operator affects citizens who seek to reduce transportation costs by using public transportation.

In this work, a demographic study of Gaultheria glomerata and Disterigma empetrifolium was carried out in the Indiviso sector of the Baquerizo Moreno parish, Píllaro canton, Tungurahua province. The vegetation was analogous between montane forest and shrubby moorland, located at coordinates 01°18'S; 78°30'W, altitude 3400 m.a.s.l., where the Braun-Blanquet methodology for vegetation cover was adapted by means of plots, which were established randomly, the minimum distance between plot and plot was considered to be 100 meters. In the field work, the existing vegetation cover was quantified by percentages within 10 plots of 10x10m, in each of them were evaluated its subquadrants in the form of L, at each meter. The species were identified in the Herbarium of the ESPOCH, and the calculated data were 35.69% of vegetation cover for Disterigma empetrifolium and 13.19% for Gaultheria glomerata, which are in an abundance index of 2-3 on the Blanquet scale that tells us that it belongs to a medium abundant and abundant cover, Therefore, it was determined that Disterigma empetrifolium has a cover between 25-50%, thus concluding that it is in index 3 on Blanquet's scale, and Gaultheria glomerata was found in a percentage of 5-25%, concluding that this species is in index 2 on Blanquet's scale.

The research was developed in a savings and credit cooperative in the city of Ambato - Ecuador, controlled by the Superintendence of Popular and Solidarity Economy SEPS. Glimpsing some elements of internal control - COSO I. Savings and credit cooperatives receive cash deposits, deliver credit and issue payment cards. The leverage of institutional progress, forces to the multiplicity of offers and non-financial financial products, which operationally causes risks, before this, the management of the internal control assures the normative fulfillment and the reasonableness in the cash and vault reports. The objective of the work is to design an Internal Control Manual for the effectiveness of cash and vault operations. Data were collected using empirical methods and risks in cash management were found. An internal control manual was implemented, outlining policies and procedures for proper cash and vault management. It also indicates the professional profile; human talent selection process; operational and accounting cash activities. And the regulations for the custody of cash.

The aim of this study was to describe the global scientific production on virtual reality as a marketing tool contained in the SCOPUS database, in order to map its trends and implications. The study is descriptive and cross-sectional under a bibliometric approach. The results respond to the analysis of bibliometric indicators of production, visibility, impact and collaboration. It is concluded that between 1993 and 2021 there is a total of 1046 articles that address the topic of virtual reality as a marketing tool, showing a sustained increase in its scientific production, demonstrating the interest in its study in recent decades.

Respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) is recognized as a set of symptoms and signs that lead to increased respiratory work, significantly affecting both preterm and term newborns admitted to the NICU. The study is a quantitative, descriptive, retrospective cross-sectional study. An indirect observation matrix was applied through the collection of medical records for the registration of statistical dataThere are 160 neonates with RDS attended annually in the NICU area. Equivalent to a sample of 113 neonates who will be selected by simple random sampling. The results showed that most of the neonates who took part in the study were male and were born during the 34th to 38th week, the main cause of RDS in neonates.

Small and medium-sized companies in today's world require the support of technology to achieve their positioning in customer acquisition, loyalty and purchasing decisions, an aspect that involves overcoming new challenges such as facing a large, globalized and highly competitive market, as well as the incursion into a virtual environment influenced by social networks and digital channels that instantly persuade the buyer with various strategies, a phenomenon more visible in the post pandemic period in which the speed of evolution of the media and forms of marketing is evident.

With respect to the upbringing of children, customs have advanced significantly. In ancient times it was conceived that children should be ignored and that they did not begin to be taken into account until very late in childhood; gradually society has evolved and with it the approaches to a humanized relationship between adults and children. It is becoming more and more constant and at the same time relevant the actions that lead to enjoy the child-adult relationship. Propitiating a pertinent emotional and social development, not only in the family environment but also in the educational spaces; spaces where specific cultural and social pillars are cemented that effectively contribute to a better progress in the individual. The games strengthen the roles and position the individual in the most characteristic aspects of his personality.

The present investigation was carried out with the objective of evaluating the risk management strategies established by the decentralized autonomous parish governments, through the development and territorial planning plans, considering the objectives of sustainable development. For this case, nine rural parishes in the canton of San Lorenzo, Esmeraldas, Ecuador were taken as the territorial scope of the analysis. A review of the Ecuadorian legislation that regulates rural territorial planning was carried out, as well as interviews with key actors of the communities located in the parish capitals, to evaluate their knowledge of strategies, programs and projects focused on disaster risk management and citizen contribution in the construction of development plans and land use planning. One of the findings found in this study is that the participation of the community in the construction of development plans and land use planning is very low, since only 32.22% of them state that they have contributed to the development of these tools of planning of the parochial decentralized autonomous governments.

Audiovisual media provide a didactic resource in the teaching of literature and report valuable results by quickly and effectively capturing the attention of students. However, neither in the academic world nor in everyday life, the manifest and deep attraction that the public feels for audiovisual media, as well as the interest that teachers may have when using them, are directly proportional to the existence of adequate audiovisual teaching material, nor to its quality. The main objective of this work is to know the possibilities of the audiovisual applied to the formation and teaching of values, being this the main transmitter of information, knowledge and ideology in the Information Society in whose bosom we relate and develop.
