Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present benefits for various supply chain links, which are managed by leader who successfully promoting cooperation. Also presented a theoretical culture of trust and teamwork model, based on four key pillars. Furthermore, it describes the most important indications for supply chain leadership in promoting co-operation. Design/methodology/approach: This paper presents only a theoretical approach. All information has been characterized on the basis of literature. Findings: An article describes a number of benefits, which organizations can achieve if they cooperate. Key benefits of using based on co-operation model are considered: increase competitiveness of the company through participation in the structures to ensure survival (the possibility of selling goods and services), establish business contacts with other companies, reduction of time and costs paid by client, reduction of the uncertainty action, keeping delivery times, increase reliability of supply, reducing pollution and harmful effects of processes on the environment. Presented benefits clearly indicate that organizations which are in a supply chain can achieve much more than companies which act alone. Research and practical limitations/implications: Conclusions, which are summary of the article can provide guidance to supply chain leaders. Originality/value: The paper can provide value for people involved in supply chain management, both leaders and supply chain members. Originality of this article is difficult to assess because article presents a theoretical, not empirical issues.

The main aim of this article is to present possibilities of implementation of the Balanced Scorecard as means which describes the strategy and assists in supervision of its realization. At the beginning of the paper the core ideas of the Balanced Scorecard are introduced in the strategic context. Next the Balanced Scorecard is discussed as it functions in the city of Charlotte [1] – the pioneer in the field. In the above mentioned city the concept of the BSC has been fully applied, and the tutors of the process were the authors of the discussed method of management themselves - R. S. Kaplan, D. P. Norton (Bielawski, 2014). The following two samples undergoing the analysis came from Poland; these are the Polish Custom Service - as a model and representative of state administration, and The Office of the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Province – as a model and representative of local government administration in Poland. Although the BSC was elaborated in the area of entrepreneurship, it may be as well applied in the field of public institutions.

Purpose: The main objective of this paper is to identify proper practices for building clients’ trust by Trello, Inc., aimed to convince potential clients of their cloud-based services. Approach: In this paper, the case study of Trello, Inc. is used to analyze the case data, aimed to examine the causal links between actions taken to gain clients’ trust and their observed effects. Implications: This paper provides insight into building trust in Business to Business (B2B). Using cloud technologies to offer services enables a company to create innovative value proposition, or in other cases, add new features and attributes to it that cater to the clients’ needs. It involves different approach of the company in building clients’ trust than if it offered services in traditional way. To handle this issue effective trust management implementation is required. Findings: This paper provides suggestions of trust management actions which can be taken and are not limited to data security guarantee. Value of the paper: This paper underlines proper practices – based on the success of Trello, Inc. – for building clients’ trust by business where aim is to convince potential clients of enterprise’s cloud-based service.

1.IntroductionMany companies recognize that the gap between the market value and the book value becomes more significant. The market value exceeds the book value, and the value of the capital invested in the company exceeds the costs of assets replacement. Only 20 years ago global companies had their market value at a level similar to the value of their countable assets, which corresponded to the Tobin's Q indicator of around 1 (Jarugowa and Fijalkowska, 2002). Currently in the leading companies, such as Microsoft, the Tobin's Q indicator is around 2, which means that 100% of the company's market value is made of uncountable assets that include, among others, the intellectual capital and related to the human capital [1]. Hence, the intellectual capital constitutes a significant element of the company's market value, and due to this its position should be calculated and presented as an indicator of the total value of a company. Information arising from the intellectual capital measurement can encourage investors to future investment and play a crucial role in forming the market value of a company. The author attempted to indicate the connection between the increasing market value of the largest companies and a need for measuring the intellectual and human capital. At the same time pointed out that there are still difficulties associated with the measurement of human capital. Regardless of these difficulties, more and more companies measure of human capital. Results of own research confirmed this and showed of measurement range in Polish listed companies. In order to obtain the data used indirect survey. Survey conducted in 50 Polish listed companies in the period September 2015-February 2016. The rest of the paper shows specific examples of using information regarding human capital to predict and create the company's market value.2.A gap between the market value and the book value of companies as a stimulus for the intellectual capital measurementTwo indicators are most often used to estimate the company's intellectual capital: indicator of relations between the market value and the book value MV/ BV and Tobin's Q indicator. Both of them give opportunity to estimate the intellectual capital of any company, to track changes in its value or to compare its value to the value of any other company. D. Appenzeller observed that those indicators have significant limitations for example the company's market value depends on many factors such as: financial condition, intellectual capital or a situation on the market. Thus, in bull market period, when share prices are rising, a high level of both indicators can be expected, and it does not have to be an evidence for high level of intellectual capital. While in a bear market periods, the company's market value - and as a result its intellectual capital - will be reduced (Appenzeller, 2009). Table 1 shows the market value and the assets value of the largest global companies in 2016. The discrepancy between the

Research purpose: The aim of the paper is to identify the scope of the engagement of the military logistic system in supporting civil crisis management operations and reducing the negative effects of natural disasters and technical failures. Methodology/approach: The single case study methodology is applied to achieve the aim of the research. The case analysis focuses its attention on the logistic system of the Polish Armed Forces as the unit of the study. The following methods have been used to collect the data for the study: literature review, documentation analysis, analysis of the news published on the website of the Inspectorate for the Armed Forces Support and participatory observation. Findings: The key areas of support provided by military logistics for the operations of civil crisis management encompass preparing the conditions for temporary stay of evacuated population and medical support. The lessons identified from the civil crisis management operations conducted between 2008 and 2015 confirm that the scope of real life support provided by the military logistic system is consistent with the priorities of crisis and humanitarian logistics which include supplies of drinkable water, food, clothes, electric power and logistic services. Limitations/implications: The applied methodology of the single case study limits the possibility to generalize the findings. The analysis is deeply embedded into a given context i.e. civil crisis management operations supported by Polish military logistics between 2008 and 2015. Originality/value: So far, not enough research attention has been given to the issue of the military logistics engagement in supporting the civil crisis management to mitigate the negative effects of natural disasters and technical failures. Therefore, the study contributes to the efforts to fill the identified gap in knowledge.

Purpose: Main purpose of the article is creating the categories and premises of trust, shaped through different forms of cooperation undertaken between companies in a selected economic group in Poland, and then – on the basis of opinions of managers/owners – assess the significance of the behavioural dimension of trust for conditions prevailing in this group. Methodology/approach: The basis for conducting an analysis of the problem of trust involved interviews conducted with the owners and/or key managers of 14 production companies. The obtained opinions on cooperation pointed out, on the one hand, distrust and rivalry, but also continuous cooperation and joint investments. Interviews were conducted with 6 small-sized companies, as well as 8 larger. All companies had long-term experience in operation within a group – at least 10 years of participation. Findings: The adopted methodology and manner of distinguishing dimensions of trust, for which a numeric evaluation of relations was introduced, captured the general framework of direct and indirect relations and condition of trust. Implications: The process of creating cooperation clusters among firms (especially in selected industrial sectors) will meet the problem of trust. The methods of measuring the trust level should be popularized and discussed. Originality/value of the paper: Empirical researches results have special value for recognizing contemporary and future managerial challenges. Identification these important challenges (like problem of multi organizational trust), could help in preparing firm’s cooperation and competition activities.
