The aims of the research are to identify the implementation of autonomous learning in teaching speaking for senior high school students in SMA N 3 Bantul and to find out the factors that influence lack of speaking. The research was conducted in descriptive qualitative methodology. The data findings were obtained from the observation, interview and documentation of senior high school students of SMA N 3 Bantul. The participants of the research were the students of X IPA 1 of SMA N 3 Bantul. The data was divided into four points as follows: 1) the characteristic of autonomous learner, 2) the work-cycle of autonomous learning class, 3) teacher-students’ role in autonomous learning, 4) the factors that influence lack of speaking performance of senior high school students. The results of the research were categorized into two aspects. First it is the characteristics of autonomous language learner namely having high motivation, strong curiosity, aware to use technology, having the high self-confidence. The work-cycle of autonomous classroom were plan, do, and evaluate. Teacher- learner role in autonomous class consisted of teacher as facilitator, teacher as motivator and teacher as the resource and responsibility for making good environment of autonomous class. Second, it is the factors that influence lack of speaking performance namely incorrect pronunciation, low grammar comprehension, low vocabulary mastery, low motivation, less self-confident, nervous and speaking anxiety, and lack of language input.

This study aims to assess the quality level of the Facebook translation From English to Indonesian, what techniques are used and to determine the causes of the low quality of the automatic translation tool. This study compares the results of the Facebook translation with the results of the respondents presented with a qualitative descriptive method. The researcher conducted a test on 40 Facebook translation data involving 8 students of the English language education study program to assess whether the Facebook translation results were acceptable or still require re-translation from them. From 48 techniques used by Facebook, found 48 data (100%) categorized as not accurate, not acceptable and low readability translations consisting of 37 data using literal translation (77,1 %), borrowing namely 9 data (18,7 %), calque namely 1 data (2,1%), and reduction namely 1 data (2,1%). Meanwhile, the translation techniques used by the respondents were more diverse. From 54 techniques used by Respondents, found 54 data (100%) categorized as accurate, acceptable and high readability translations consisting of 21 data using literal translation (38,8 %), adaptation namely 14 data (25,9 %), transposition namely 9 data (16,6%), borrowing namely 4 data (7,4%), description namely 2 data (3,7%), amplification namely 1 data (1,9%), calque namely 1 data (1,9%), modulation namely 1 data (1,9%) and reduction namely 1 data (1,9%). Facebook's tendency to often use Literal translation is believed to be the cause of the low level of quality because this technique is used as an early stage of translation and is called the lowest technique.

Learning is an important element to involve students as active learners. Learning is related to the science and technology development curriculum. Teaching contains two elements, namely teaching methods and teaching media. These two aspects are interrelated. The choice of one particular teaching method will affect the type of appropriate teaching media. This study aims to describe the use of the kinemaster application and plotagon story. This greatly affects the student learning process. By learning quantifier material with the kinemaster and plotagon story applications, it makes it easier for students to learn and increases students' interest in learning the material to be studied and makes the learning process more interesting for students. The method used in this research uses qualitative research. The data collection method is by using a questionnaire to obtain validation and responses to the questionnaire product. Where 94% feel they understand the quantifier material learning video with the kinemaster application and plotagon story. 92% find the video interesting to watch. 82% of them the video can help learn quantifier material. 74% of them do not feel bored with learning videos using kinemaster and plotagon story.

The inability to hear normally makes it difficult for some deaf people to learn English. Meanwhile, English language skills are necessary in globalization. The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of picture word inductive model (PWIM) toward disabilities of hearing (deaf). The method used was experimental method, which the independent variable was PWIM and the dependent variable was the result of English Basic Structure Learning. The sample was taken by doing direct observation. The research’s result shows that there are significant effect of PWIM application toward student’s English basic structure result especially on disabilities of hearing (deaf) communities.

The result of the study revealed that game-based English learning was very popular among Indonesian English young learners between the years 2011-2021. In 2020, the popularity of games based on English learning was very high. In addition, the most used research method in game-based English learning studies was quantitative method. Moreover, game-based English learning was most implemented at the elementary school levels, and the most learned language skill was to increase vocabulary. Further analysis of challenges, advantages and effectiveness related to the use of game-based English learning for young learners was also illustrated.
众所周知,游戏可以提高学生学习英语的动机和兴趣。然而,它的主要发现和对青少年英语教学的趋势仍然未知。为了填补这一空白,本研究的目的是研究基于游戏的英语学习在年轻学习者中的应用。对Garuda、Science Direct、Google Scholar、Research Gate、Taylor and Francis、Eric和Jour等数据库进行文献分析。
